The staff on the day communicated well and ensured we were aware of any problems and looked to find solutions swiftly.
Our guests at the party really enjoyed the pizzas and the bouncy castles were clean and of a good quality.
Overall we were very happy with the service that was offered and it aided in the day being very special.

Only a 4 star as they were ment to ring me on the Friday party was today(sunday) but I had to ring them a couple of times to make sure everything was still fine. Booked delivery for half 10 they were there at 10 and were happy to wait until hall was opened. They were quick and efficient at set up and collected at 5 as I said the hall would be locked up at 6, they were in the carpark waiting from around half 4 but didn't ring till 5 which I was happy about as the bouncy castle occupied my kids while I tidied up.

Overall good experience. But would benefit customers if there was a bit more communication (even if its by a quick text)

We had so much fun at Pristine childcare with the bouncy castle. The service was great and it's affordable. Thanks for your customer care. I've recommended you to other people.

Great bouncy slide - Kids loved it. The guys who came to deliver and pick up were friendly and helpful. Communication from the company could have been a little better, but overall good and would use them again!

Hired a bouncy castle for my daughters birthday, thanks to Harry and his team for allowing us to have the castle for the whole day. That made my Daughters day special!! I would recommend everyone to go with them, if anyone wants to hire for entertainment purpose.

David was great, he arrived on time and was very friendly to talk to.

He was set up quickly and the kids was able to get on straight away.

Booked a bouncy castle for a birthday party, received a phone call 36 hours before the event with excuses and that they wouldn’t be coming. Have emailed several times requesting my deposit back which I’m not getting a response to. Don’t go anywhere near this company.

Fast and efficient service! Very reliable, team was very friendly and kind… and as for the bouncy castle all the children enjoyed it throughly! I will definitely be booking again for my next event.

Please do not trust or use this company!

We hired a marquee for a children’s school prom back at the beginning of the year . We were expecting as paid for; a marquee, dance floor , carpets , ceiling and wall drops and lighting. WE DID NOT GET THIS ! We paid the deposit as required and paid in full a week prior to the event ans also required. We had to chase several times to confirm they had received the payment and that they were still attending as booked . Should have seen the red flags then as we were met with excuses from that point!

Direct entertainment were due to arrive at the school for 4:30 , they arrived late .
After hours and hours of waiting for them to erect the marquee, and being told the over the course of 5 hours the other van is 30 minutes away with the rest of the drapes, water butts for the weights to hold it down . The imaginary van never appeared !

When we called we were met with utter rudeness and passive aggressive behaviour like it was all our fault ! This was the so called manager Harry !

By 10:30 pm we had to ask them to leave and return first thing to complete the marquee. By this time they had been there for 5 hours and the marquee was not complete and just an empty shell.

Next day : AGAIN they did not arrive as planned/promised , they were late and excuses were made on arrival. They then made more promises that “Harry and Courtney are 5 minutes away in the other can with your drapes and carpet “ again the imaginary van never appeared.
The 2 man team then left and said they would not leave us with this unfinished, they are going to purchase a hose pipe to fill the water butt ……… They never returned!

The mums had to then fit and lay the dance floor and matting that had been left behind to make it as presentable as possible for the children to arrive.

Please anyone reading this do not give this company your money , they cannot be trusted to deliver the service they advertise! The management team (Harry) are diabolical!

Avoid this company!! Absolutely disgusting service, we had a leavers party for our children and booked a marquee, the men that turned up were late, set it up in the wrong place had to come back the next day to finish!! Which they never did as we was left with no drapes or carpet, us mums had to finish it ourselves!! When we finally got through to Harry he was so rude and had no remorse or empathy, absolutely disgusting behaviour. Such a disgrace. This company needs shutting down! Can’t see it lasting long with people who clearly have no customer service. The boss Harry was passive aggressive on the phone when trying to sort out the problems we had, Harry you should be ashamed of yourself appalling behaviour!!!

We booked the Marquee early in the year for our children’s Prom. Over a two day period they struggled to put up the Marquee , was missing equipment, had to keep leaving & coming back. So after waiting hours at a time for it to be abandoned unfinished just before the Prom was due to start. Us Mums had to make the best of it with the wrong flooring that was ripped & no drapes that we had paid for. Absolutely disgraceful, unprofessional as we were being lied to entire time whilst they were avoiding phone calls. WE DID NOT GET WHAT WE PAID FOR and our final call to Harry had no empathy resolution. He just didn’t care.

Ordered a bouncy castle for a 7 year olds birthday party all deposit paid for… was told I would be contacted day before the event and I wasn’t therefore I contacted them 4 times to be told ‘we are just wrapping up jobs then I promise I’ll call /email ya, don’t worry all confirmed’ was told this up until 10:30pm got an email very late saying ‘I haven’t forgot you still out’
To then wake up the next day at 5:50 am to a text that says call me asap.
Was told that the bouncy castle I had ordered was to big for indoors even though I had checked the measurements and it was stated on their website that it was suitable for indoor and out..
they took it upon themselves to not load the van because they couldn’t be bothered and completely ruined part of my sons birthday party.

On top of that promised a refund and still waiting

This company is not worth the stress. We booked them with plenty of notice, letting them know that they had access to school from 4:30 on friday to setup a 10 by 6 marquee. when they turned up at 5:30 the two gentleman didn't know what they were delivering, at 10:30pm I asked them to leave the school to come back when the next day again they were late, three hours later they said they where going to get a hose somebody else would be delivering the drapes and carpet, at 2 o'clock us mum's had to finish it off.
When we phoned Harry to complain and ask what was going on, we will meet with rudeness complaint and excuses, he even told us that we didn't book the drapes, did not apologize, no empathy whatsoever, has not even confirms when he would be picking this marquee up. it is not worth the stress, avoid this company at all costs.

Please do not use this company! We ordered a marquee for our school prom and didn’t get what we paid for. The marquee is filthy, not weighted correctly, took two day and 10 hrs to erect and lied to throughout about when the flooring was being laid and drapes delivered. I complained to Harry who couldn’t care less, no drapes have been delivered still and I was told I could have £40 back. No empathy or interest in getting it right for the children. I was told wr could have a red carpet as compensation by the installer for Harry to say no we couldn’t. Lack of communication between workers and total avoidance towards the customer. Please look elsewhere the service is diabolical.

Delivery and set up was easy, staff were very friendly and the inflatable was great fun.

Ordered a bouncy castle on line for a party, was delivered first thing in the morning on party day which was amazing. The team were super friendly efficient and helpful with enquiries. Will definitely be using again

We used direct entertainment for our school event. They were brilliant and the kids loved the pirate bouncy castle assault course. This was a last minute booking but the company were very accommodating and we will use them for future events

Cheapest around, great communication, fast installation and allowed us to keep the bouncy castle for as long as possible. Cleared up after themselves and were very polite. I would recommend and use again. Keep it up Direct Entertainment Services. 5 stars ⭐️
