Absolute star of a company

This is one of the best garages in the UK, after a Jaguar specialists intervention blew my engine, I needed a replacement. Options were £13k from jaguar or a minefield of con merchants offering £cheap replacements. I then found Roland who fitted a inhouse refurbished engine for a great price and helped arrange collection of the car over 100 miles away.
The quality of a company is what they do when issues occur, when the replacement engine developed issues due to failed ancillary parts, nothing to do with original fix, Roland refixed the engine for free.
This is a 5* company that I would not hesitate to use again.

Having taken the gamble and bought a Landrover Discovery, several months later there we were with a blown engine. – A known issue and sadly, an all too common occurrence.

Following an internet search, we found Essex based Dieselheads UK and sent a message detailing our issue.

Within a very short time Roland replied and explained the likely cause and the procedures to rectify the problems along with any additional potential issues that may be found upon engine strip-down.

We received a detailed and clear quotation containing all the necessary information and explanation of what would be required and how much the repairs & additional procedures / parts would cost.

Roland recommended a company to collect the vehicle and transport to his workshop and again this was a very stress-free and smooth operation. Many thanks to George at GLH Vehicle Transport.

From our first contact with Roland at Dieselheads, throughout the rebuild process of the engine to road testing & collection, the process & service was perfect.

We are very pleased with the work done and would recommend Dieselheads services to anyone with the misfortune to need an engine rebuild.

Due to the high demand for their services, there will be a wait for your vehicle to be back on the road, but this is testament to Rolands excellent workmanship and how high the demand is for his services.

Thanks again Roland.

When too good to be true is true.

Roland is a godsend, of honesty and reliability. Having been entirely transparent and sticking 100% to his word on rebuilding my Land Rover's seized engine (caused by the no warning "critically low engine oil" warning) for less than half the price I was quoted by the local dealership, the engine then went into limp mode given an oil pump failure almost six months later. Logically the oil pump failing wasn't Roland's responsibility, but given the car was within the guarantee period he took it back and replaced the oil pump, without charge. I tried my hardest to make Roland take some payment, ultimately out of self-interest - after all, I want to be in his good books if I need his help again. He steadfastly wouldn’t accept any payment, not even for the price of the pump.
The downside to Roland's business is that he's so busy, getting a look-in requires patience. But it's 100% worth being patient, for the quality of the work, reliability of outcome and cost effectiveness. In a country that seems to me to have become ‘Rip-off Britain’, Roland is the all too rare exception that disproves it. Integrity, honesty, and genuineness in doing a complex job excellently for a fair price – and keeping to his word - is Roland’s DNA.
