Faulty pushchair and missing refund
AVOID BUYING FROM DIDOFY - we ordered a pushchair from them which didn’t fold properly - we sent back within 30 days and requested a refund, but five weeks later our money (approx £250) has not been refunded, despite them receiving the item and despite multiple emails chasing

Communication black hole
When placing the order it gave me an estimated delivery date. However this was not included in the email confirmation and I am yet to receive any further communication on the progress of my order, let alone what a potential delivery date will be.

Lovely Aster 2 stroller
Lovely Aster 2 stroller - both for everyday life and travels! We took it to 3 countries and 1.5 months abroad this summer and it met every test with flying colours. As light as the YoYo but a smoother ride and easier to fold with a one touch button. Customer service is top notch too - we lost the bumper bar along the way and they sent a replacement for free. I also like that they're British based - it's nice to support homegrown talent!
Not great, don’t waste your money…
The buggy isn’t as easy to use as reviews have said. It’s awkward to manoeuvre and doesn’t turn corners well - the break pedal is in a poor position that means you often step on it whilst walking causing it to lock in motion. One of the wheels fell off whilst in use. Pretty disappointed with the whole thing really
Ideal lightweight pushchair
Best feature is it’s very easy to open and to collapse down, can almost do it with one hand. Ideal to take abroad. Lightweight ad manoeuvrable. We bought a padded insert for comfort
Very good, highly recommend
Very good, easy to fold with one hand, lightweight, a good almost flat position, fits in the overhead locker. I highly recommend it. A slightly cheaper Yo-yo. Not a huge fan of the buckle and straps because it looks and feels a little cheap, but not bad.
Didofy Aster 2
Great company and we liked the pram we bought. It has a good size basket underneath and folds easily which is handy for a travel pram, it is also a good height for my very tall husband to push. Unfortunately it is not very maneuverable and doesn't turn as easily as our normal pram so we would only use it when travelling.
Ordered a bag for the Didofy Aster and…
Ordered a bag for the Didofy Aster and a mosquito net. Not yet used the mosquito net but the bag is actually really thin and has torn first time we’ve used it. I would not recommend buying it for the price quality is poor. Also it’s quite a tight fit to get the pram into it. Brought the pram elsewhere which is amazing though would recommend the pram 100%
Delivery of the items was quite and efficient,
A great buggy
Great looking, strong and well-designed buggies with super easy to use folding mechanism
Didofy Cosmos travel system
We bought the Didofy Cosmos travel system over a year ago for our first child and was amazed at how easy everything is to use. The car seat base is quick and simple to install and remove for when swapping cars. Love all the features across the range and have also got the Aster buggy which packs down so small and has been great on two abroad holidays. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking at purchasing for their new one!
Love the Aster!
Me and my little one absolutely adore the Aster 2, it is practical, lightweight and fits all the needs of a fast paced family! It is perfect for travel, doesn’t take up too much space and has super stylish looks.
This is a great system
This is a great system. I found it easy to use, even one handed while holding the little one.
Love the Aster! A travel must have for parents!
Love the Aster!! A absolute must have if you travel abroad. The compact fold wowed airport staff, as they assumed we were wanting to put the stroller in the hold. When we did the one button fold in front of them they were literally amazed 😂. The convenience of taking the stroller in the plane and having it to hand when we landed was just brilliant, and when we were on holiday and went out to eat at night the stroller was small enough to store under the table. Thanks team didofy!!
Used Didofy from birth - highly recommend
We have been using a range of Didofy products since my son was newborn - the Aster 2 and the Cosmos Bloom travel system. They look stylish and modern and reasonably priced. Customer service has been amazing.
Currently we are mainly using the Aster 2, we’ve even taken it abroad, it’s so lightweight, easy to fold and carry, and looks great.
The Didofy Aster 2 is great but has a major flaw
The Didofy Aster 2 is great, very easy to set up, pack away and is lightweight. It can fully recline, which is excellent. I love that the canopy can be extended and has a viewing flap to check on the baby.
However there is a major design flaw that I believe could be easily remedied. They advertise that the brake is so responsive that you can use flip flops to operate it…. And it is incredibly responsive. It is positioned directly in line with your right foot, so as you walk you repeatedly put the brake on without intending on doing so and then lurch forward into the stationary stroller - even better when this occurs while crossing a road. You would think that you would get used to this, and learn to avoid it, but I would have to somehow entirely change the way I walk to avoid it. If you are reading this thinking, well perhaps it is just the way this woman walks, all members of mine and my husband’s family have the same issue.
If only they had put the brake pedal directly in the centre of the bar so that it was not in line with feet while walking. Then you would be better able to apply the brake when desired rather than as a punctuation mark throughout your walk.
Aster 2 - a fantastic stroller
We have had the Aster 2 for 7 months now. After a thorough testing, I can safely say it is a fantastic stroller. We bought it for travel really, but when it arrived we were so taken with it we started using it for every day and relegated our trusty Mountain Buggy.
I’m so impressed by how well it handles the battering we give it (National Trust walks, beaches - you name it it’s been there). Not to mention how gorgeous it is (we got it in olive). It’s so compact and convenient in our car boot we now never take our other buggy.
We took it on a plane for the first time this month. On the way out the plane was too full to take it, so it was put in the hold, but on the way back we took it into the cabin and stored it in the overhead lockers with no issues (our airline was BA). When I used the one button fold to get it on the security conveyor belt at Heathrow the security attendant commented how “fancy” it was. She should know, she must see loads of them! It really is an impressive bit of engineering.
We’ve had excellent customer service from preorder through to now too, so I trust them as a company as well. As an example, I originally ordered a footmuff with the stroller as I hadn’t realised it came with one included. Within minutes I was sent an email informing me and offering me a refund if the purchase had been unintentional. Wow.
**Editing because I originally said only thing is I wish my toddler could sit more upright in it and then I read another review below and realised he totally can I just wasn’t pushing the back in far enough! So it’s absolutely perfect I can’t find a single fault with it **
We took a bit of a punt based on the best all rounder award it received - I think it was maybe the Telegraph awards comparing compact travel strollers - when it was a fledgling company with very few reviews. So glad we did. We saved ourselves so much money getting this instead of the YoYo and it has performed so well. Thanks the Telegraph, and thanks Didofy!
Didofy Aster 2 - I love it!
Just received our Didofy Aster 2 a few days ago, I love it and can’t wait to use it for our holiday in a couple of weeks time.
I did a lot of research on the best lightweight/travel toddler stroller and kept coming back to the Aster 2. It is a bit more expensive than some others I looked at but certainly not the most expensive on the market, it does come with foot muff, rain cover and cup holder too.
I purchased the stroller for my toddler who is 2.5 years old, average height and weight (91cm, 13.5kg) and he fits in it nicely. He can’t yet reach the foot rest but the option of having the leg rest up is great. The hood height is good so doesn’t touch his head although when the hood is fully extended with the extra part unzipped, if he’s sat up he can’t see much in front of him so we would only use the extended hood when laying down/napping. Which is probably the same for most strollers of this design. The normal hood is great and seems sturdy enough.
The fold is super easy to do one-handed, with the carry strap an added bonus. Can’t wait to whip this up and down at the airport!
On first inspection, the seat didn’t seem to sit up enough for a nosy toddler which I was concerned about, but it can actually be sat more upright just by pushing the seat forward as far as it will go and tightening the lever/strap to secure in place. The brake is easy to use, however I’ve only used the stroller to walk around the house so far (toddler has wanted to be pushed around it in since it was delivered!, so think he’s a fan!) so cannot comment too much on the placement of the brake/if it’s in an inconvenient place as another review has suggested.
The overall look of the stroller is really nice, the fabrics seem robust and well made and the bronze frame is lovely.
So far I have nothing negative to say about this stroller… pending our first holiday away with it but I’m sure all will be fine!
