Use Post NL Instead

Two things:
First, their track & trace is useless. A packag ewill show that it's in their distribution centre in Amsterdam. While still there, it arrives in friesland, 200Km away. Why is there no live tracking on the vehicle? Whatsapp can manage that. With that, I could ensure that I'm home when the packahe arrives. None of this "your package will arrive sometime between now and Oct 20th, 2027"
Next:
Try going to drop off an item at any of DHL's "registered service centres". They are a joke! Turn up with a passport. They ask you if you have a special DHL document envelope. Er - isn't it your job to have those?
DHL are expensive and offer a poor service. For items like passports etc, simply use Post NL aangetekend brief service - just as secure, 1/4 the price.

This is without a doubt the WORST…

This is without a doubt the WORST delivery service ever created. Lived across 3 continents, and deliveries in third world countries are more reliable than DHL "eCommerce".

Out of the last 10 deliveries, HALF have been inexplicably "delayed" or sent fake "you're not at home" messages despite me literally waiting and not going to the supermarket around the corner out of fear of missing an important delivery.

Worst of all? In one of those 10, where I paid for a package to be shipped to me - was delayed for a week, and when it finally arrived in my area - was INEXPLICABLY rerouted and returned to sender (without ever attempting any delivery).

DHL refused to refund the full amount to me, despite being legally obligated to do so. The refunded me a few euros, and called it "goodwill". When I pointed out the specific legal statutes that they're breaking - their customer support did not reply.

Worst. Company. Service. Ever. EVER. This garbage service should be sued (class action), go bankrupt, and hopefully never seen again.

Save yourself the headache, and use PostNL, DPD, or anything else. Paying a homeless thief to deliver your package would probably yield better results.

Didn’t deliver the package

Didn’t deliver the package, didn’t even ring the doorbell but said that they missed me. What is the point in paying for delivery if they not even try to deliver? Basically scamming by stealing money and not doing what you paid for. Really disappointing and customer service doesn’t help either. Give automised replies which don’t help a bit. Really really disappointing that such a huge company has such bad service. And based on all these reviews, Im not the only one experiencing this and yet they don’t bother to improve

I saw the DHL truck stop in my street but didn't deliver to me

I saw the DHL truck stop in my street, but on the other side of the street, so I assumed that they have to deliver a package to a neighbor. Couple of minutes later I saw them go away, and then I've got the email: `WE WILL COME BY AGAIN`
Super annoying. And this is not the first time even! I am always afraid of DHL delivery because this happens almost all the time with them.

Stole my phone
I ordered a phone and was waiting for delivery. Suddenly I get an e-mail saying I received my package which I didn't.
DHL are plain thieves and should be prosecuted.

Such a bad service that is incredible…

Such a bad service that is incredible these people are still doing business.
I ordered twice through Bol.com and twice the DHL driver apparently couldn't find my name on the address and sent the package both time back to Bol.com instead of a pick up point.
At my adress there are 2 doors and every name is printed out. How difficult can it be?
Of course customer service cannot do anything about it.

The worst courier ever.

This is by far the worst courier service today. Don't risk your parcel with this lot. I've not only blacklisted them, but also the booking agents that list them on their website.

Parcel was dropped off for Next Day Delivery Guaranteed. It was not collected for 6 days. I could not get the shop to release my parcel. Om the 7th day they told me parcel is collected for delivery tomorrow. Tomorrow came and I got a tracking that Delivery delayed . It's now Day 9 and tracking says Parcel in depot.

No one you can talk to or even chat with.

I would give them less than one star if…

I would give them less than one star if I could.
Around 6 weeks ago I needed to send some time sensitive documents to the UK for a solicitor. I paid for express shipping, printed the label out and dropped it off accordingly. I was told the email would follow but nothing did. I checked and checked but nothing, I went back to the drop off and there was no parcel. Turns out that the driver didn't scan it in at pick up and now the documents have vanished. Due to the nature of the documents I had to replace and resend urgently so therefore paid twice to send one parcel. For 6 weeks I have been chasing a refund, this week I got the claim form where they offered me 15 euros compensation but still no refund of the shipping cost. I am being passed around from team to team, the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing and no one is giving me any answers other than "speak to the other team" . Still waiting on a resolution! Really bad DHL, really bad!!
Update: my refund request was refused. I have now opened another claim and need to go through the whole process again! Just spoke to very rude person on the phone and ended up hanging up on them.

I am extremely disappointed with DHL…

I am extremely disappointed with DHL eCommerce Poland. I sent a package containing an expensive phone, but due to a technical error with their parcel locker in Poland, the shipment was never collected by the courier. Despite multiple calls on May 13, 14, 19, 22, and 23, and emails on May 20 and 21, DHL failed to resolve the issue or contact the courier.

Their support has been unresponsive and unhelpful for over two weeks, leaving me without my phone or refund. I had to buy a replacement phone on credit because of their negligence. Even after submitting formal complaints, no solution has been provided. This lack of accountability and service is unacceptable. I demand compensation and immediate resolution.

Amateurs
I was supposed to get a package today, between 11 and 15. And because they usually they just throw it in front of the door, I decided to wait outside. And while being in front of my house waiting for their van, I got an email: sorry, we didn't find you home. Frustrating; amateurs! I had to reschedule my day for that.

Tellers of untruths

The Courier stated that they tried to deliver parcel at 17.31, that no-one was available and that a card had been put through the door. All of which is false!
No attempt to deliver was made and no card was left!
Trying to contact a Customer Assistant using the phone number given on the website results in frustration as it is only an automated service with no option to speak to a CA. If you call DHL direct you are palmed off with " Sorry I am unable to help, that's a different Dept". When asked to be put through to the relevant department you are given the same automated phone number.
Louise whom I conversed with via WhatsApp did not understand the frustration this caused and was totally unhelpful.

Just lies from DHL

Words fail me you are totally appalling I really appreciate being lied to. I was in all day sitting right by a window in my appartment your driver never even entered the road to deliver. Yet states premises closed as the excuse not to deliver. He or she was a lier! You have not customer care at all!
