To the attention of the DHL Claims Department,
I am writing to file a formal and final claim regarding the negligent handling of my shipment, which has resulted in a partial loss of items that remains unresolved to this day.
I would like to place on record the following critical points that aggravate this situation:
Breach of Deadlines: More than a month and a half has passed since the shipment date. This is an entirely excessive amount of time for an international transport service.
Failure to Locate: Despite multiple contact attempts, DHL's response has been non-existent or insufficient. The company claims to be unaware of the current whereabouts of the three missing parcels (which represent more than 50% of the original shipment's total weight).
High-Value Content: The three missing items contain high-value goods, including specialized technology (professional speakers and microphones, monitor stands, and high-capacity SSD hard drives), as well as branded personal luggage and clothing, with a total estimated value of €10k.
Lack of Compensation: As of the date of this letter, DHL has not only failed to recover my belongings but has also failed to process the payment of the corresponding penalty or the indemnity for loss and delay, as established in the transport contract conditions and current regulations.
I look forward to a response providing concrete solutions, rather than automated messages.

Just unnecessary stress
My order got stuck for several days even though the package was already in my city. DHL repeatedly marked it as “wrong delivery address” despite the address (including apartment number) being corrected and confirmed multiple times.
The courier showed up late in the evening without any prior notification - no phone call, no SMS, no email, no intercom. I stepped away for literally two minutes and the package was marked as not delivered and returned.
No real support, no clear communication, just unnecessary stress.
Pickup points - avoid them or get in troubles
I was expecting an international parcel. I redirected it to dhl parcel pickup point - 'POP' - a valid option the dhl poland offers.
But then it was unexpectedly rejected by that pickup point, for unknown reason, and later instead of the dhl trying to contact me or deliver to any other pickup point nearby, they just returned the parcel to the sender - the worst option possible. And now I need to chase the parcel abroad :|

If I could I would give -5. The worst courier in Poland. The driver in Olsztyn never answers phone, never delivers on the day of scheduled delivery choosing fake reasons for example missing address - even though the full address was on the email they sent with the PIN!!!!?? Otherwise he would choose no one at home even though it's a business address with 24hrs security to leave the parcel. The company should be shutdown in Poland for their scams and drivers clearly fired. No one ever picks up the phone at the customer service and there's no way to submit official complaints as funnily enough the website crashes at that point. Crooks! That's all they are.

They weren’t able to deliver a parcel for a week and claimed I wasn’t home. I understand it can be difficult to find the exact address in the old town, but why ask for my phone and email if you’re not going to use them?

I've lived in 4 different countries and in every single one dhl is the worst company of them all.
Please try to use a different company, I've had no issue at all with delivery of my packages and the first time I try to use dhl in Poland its the same shit all over again.
Then when you try to call them they always tell you to use their online site which never works.

Please never use this company. I sent 4 packages abroad over a month ago and they are returning them to sender, they never even reached the destination. They are not helping with anything and I have no idea how to get my stuff back.

The service is just disgusting.
The pack was in my city already week and I still can't get it. If I track it says that they made attempt to deliver. Anyone tried even reached me. When I am trying to text or call courier - nothing happens.
Tried to call to custom support, they said me that they don't have the number of flat for delivery. I clarified it two days ago and still delivery only in 3 days. Why they didn't even try to clarify the address having my e-mail and phone number is miracle for me. They just put it to storage without notify and put "not possible to deliver". I will avoid using DHL for future as much as I can and would never recommend it to other people.

I’ve had a terrible experience with DHL. After the first delivery attempt failed, I contacted customer service multiple times to redirect my parcel, but each time I was given different, contradictory information. I was misdirected, and no one seemed to know how to help. Now, my parcel is marked for return, and I still have no idea when or how I’ll receive it. DHL’s customer service is awful, and they’ve done nothing to resolve this issue except telling me to wait for notification. I’m extremely disappointed.

I order from a merchant in Poland and DHL Poland picked the parcel up on 9 Oct from the merchant and as of today, 29 Oct the parcel sits in DHL Polands HI terminal.

I am extremely disappointed with DHL's service. My package was supposed to be delivered to my home, but instead, the delivery driver asked me to pick it up from a nearby Żabka. I went there, but the driver was nowhere to be found. This is just one of many frustrating experiences I've had with DHL.
Their delivery process is unprofessional, and the lack of communication is appalling. My package was not reattempted for delivery and was simply returned to the sender without any notification. I even tried calling the driver, but my calls were ignored.
In addition, their delivery times are never accurate, and the overall experience has been stressful. DHL’s service is simply the worst, and I would advise others to avoid using them whenever possible.
