Yet again DHL s consistently poor…

Yet again DHL s consistently poor service hasn’t disappointed!
I must take a lot of effort to be this bad,
Previous delivery couldn’t find me in a 140 year old building that other delivery companies manage without a problem.
Current delivery stated that no one was in to receive delivery, I can only assume they couldn’t find me again and visited a property that I wasn’t in.
This particular parcel was from Chicago the last one from Spain as I said earlier refreshingly consistent.

The worst customer service and the worst post service!!!!! Do not use them!!!!

I will give you an advice to all - DO NOT USE THIS POSTAL SERVICE!!!, after my experience in selling/buying stuff online - I have experience of more than 7 years. Few months ago I bought 2 laptops which cost more than 2000 pounds from the USA and shipped to the UK, the item was delivered to DHL post center in London. After a few hours, it was needed to be delivered to my flat. The driver just took that 2 laptops and bring them in neighbor's building and made a photo like he delivered and took the laptops with him. I was on the first floor of my building and I saw that image which send me a driver with laptops is with the different floor color if I will compare with the floor with our building. I called this c.etins from DHL and I explained the situation, and guess what, around 3 weeks they said different stories: we delivered you 2 days ago, we will deliver again, you took the laptops and you are lying us, you are not well educated, we will bring your laptops to your flat in 2 hours. DHL from where you bring these people for your Customer Support? Moreover, I had insurance for these packages, and guess what?? They said it is "not available" - DHL do you have a brain?
How I resolved the problem, I called my bank and I explained the situation, I submitted a lot of papers, I also reported to the Metropolitan Police which confirmed based on CCTV that DHL drivers were not in our building in that day at all, finally, I received my refund - after 3 months through my bank but not DHL.
Please do not reply to my comment just slap you on your face.

How DHL can run your Christmas

Hi,
I've been waiting for parcel delivery for the last 69 days. The parcel was in charge to DHL(tracking ESUS61084275) and then passed to DAI POST (CPBKYMT0523488) to finally land on Courier Please. At this stage, the parcel is still lost and I created several formal complaints on Courier Please with tickets numbers 4953429,4990046, 4982893 and 5008378. The resolution team was supposed to give an answer in 48hrs when a ticket is created. But at this time, the answer is still not available; when I call they keep creating tickets. I need the package asap. I already sent a complaint to Ebay about the issue. I contacted DHL last week and the help that you give me is useless. They received the money for the parcel and they should be in charge. However, DHL response is we do not care; we gave it to another courier. So, we took the money and we will not give any help. I'm really annoyed with the poor quality of service of each of the couriers. Also, I still do not why DHL do not deliver the parcel directly in Sydney as they have service here. I need help from DHL to review the situation with his couriers' friends and not simply give me a page that said that the package is in Sydney from the 19th of November and no one know where it is or who is responsible for it.

They deliver whenever they want

No clear information about the delivery date and the time. They sent me a message when the parcel was out for delivery already, indicative time between 9 to 17!
They don't care if you can't receive the delivery, they maybe simply expect people don't move from their home. Unuseful customer service, it didn't help at all.

Rip-off company. Service does not much the promise!

I have sent a parcel in April this year to Asia, paid around £60 for a bigger box (no small boxes) supposed to be delivered for 5-6 days, but was delivered nearly after 3 weeks. Same thing happening now. Tracking says it will deliver for around 19 days. It is complete rip-off. There is a small business which delivers for 2 weeks for £12 a kg. I would like to demand money back! There was no need to send this parcel if I knew it is going to be that slow.

DHL, The Excuse Company

Sadly I write this review of a company I normally admire but lately have become an Excuse Company.
"can't deliver because" or just plain "Hold" is the montra for DHL of late. Packages are held at locations just miles from my office for days, because of one thing or another, meanwhile, Amazon, Fedex and even the us post office is delivering on time or even early. Fix this please.. I want to like DHL again

Stolen

I was expecting a delivery and received a msg saying my package was delivered but it was signed for by someone I don't recognise with close similarity to my name. I presumed it got in wrong hand or the driver kept it. Nevertheless it's very irresponsible and mishandling from DHL driver. ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Worthless

Worthless!

They where supposed to deliver a package on Monday at my home. I waited the whole day and got a message from them that no one was home?! Really??

Then they say that the package can be picked up at a service point. So on Thursday I went to the service point and guess what? They haven't received anything!

I call DHL on Wednesday and they said it should be there, so I go back and got the same results. NOTHING THERE!

I call DHL on Thursday and they couldn't find it anywhere now, and asked if it was OK if they called me back later that day (didn't happen)

I call DHL AGAIN! (4TH TIME) and now the package has magically appeared at another service point! I ask them if they are sure this time and they say yes. When I got to the second service point, guess what? NOTHING THERE AGAIN!

Completely worthless. Why do you even exist as a company? If I could give you ZERO STARS I would!

waited in for delivery. nothing turned up. checked the tracking app and found out I had refused delivery?!

incredible

attempted to call but no use in push button menu as no card left by driver....how could i have a card when he did not bother to turn up?

Awful experience!

Awful experience!! Why do I bother to change my delivery to a locker point for u to attempt to deliver my package to my address!! U have now delivered to a neighbour who has gone on holiday!! Bloody joke! Not to mention your awful customer service where u can’t seem to speak to any anyone! Train your drivers to fill in calling cards properly!!!!!!!!!!AND READ DELIVERY ADDRESSES PROPERLY!!!

They have never actually made their…

They have never actually made their stated time window. Why even bother giving a 2 hour window? What even are these based on? I rarely even read the emails from DHL stating when they will deliver nowadays, because they could be there before the window, 3 hours after it, the next day, or even several days later -- so I'm definitely not going to stay home for it. Even worse, recently they blatantly lied about having tried to deliver a package when I was at home, literally facing the window next to the door. No one tried to deliver anything at that time.

DHL inefficiency

When it comes to solving a problem, politeness is no substitute for efficiency and its resolution. Nevertheless, I have given DHL three stars because all the staff have been polite and wishing to be helpful.
Due to a wrong CHIEF entry by DHL the EAA document where the correct commodity code was entered for antiques and should incur an import VAT of 5%, the listed charge for VAT is 20%. I am therefore obliged to make a VAT payment to HMRC for over £400 more than it should have been and I may not get a refund. I am told by DHL that this is something they can offer no help in resolving.
Sometimes I have received no reply emails from DHL where the required attached document is missing. I am told the fault is at my end. Provided that the email comes from a genuine email address this cannot happen furthermore, I have sometimes received the required attachments. The attachments were obviously sometimes overlooked.
One great improvement DHL could make is to list the appropriate contact details for a customer’s enquiry. When attempting to resolve a problem I have often been sent in circles.
Collectively, small businesses make vast contribution to the UK economy and in these difficult Covid and post Brexit times they need all the help they can get especially from courier companies like DHL
My expectation is that if I get a response to this posting, I will get a somewhat formulaic response but very little will happen to improve my experience of DHL.
I intend to send my comment to my trade magazine and it would be useful to get some feedback on my issues from DHL

I will never use this company again and…

I will never use this company again and I suggest you do the same! I sent a "document" from Mexico to the UK it was supposed to take 4 days, it was held in Cincinnati and might still be there as far as I know? Why they held a document I will never know, not enough to do I guess, justifying their jobs.

Absolute joke and drivers lie

Absolute joke and drivers lie. Waited in all day for my much needed delivery. Had to take a day off work. It gets to 6pm, no delivery. Decided to check my tracking to see if any explanation was given and apparently I wasn’t in when the driver attempted to deliver. Well my driver must have been invisible as I have a ring door bell and not once did any delivery driver approach my door! A joke of a company with dishonest staff!

1 stjerne er 1 for mange!

1 star is too many!!
I made a purchase from a US-shop where I pay taxes and duties for delivery to an EU country at check out so no fees need to be paid, not even carrier fee - unless they ship with DHL, they charged me for that! I got an invoice saying I had to pay $15.29 if I wanted to receive my package even though I already paid that in the shop.
I sent them an email telling them I already paid but noone has bothered to answer, I also sent an email to the shop telling them about this problem, and they want to refund the full amount I paid, since they have an ongoing problem with DHL Express.

Unfortunately DHL Express was the only option I had for shipping the items I buy but since they rob people I wont be buying from that great shop again - its a shame this buisness needs to ruin an entirely great buisness.

In danish:

Jeg handlede hos en onlinehsop i USA hvor man betaler for fragt, told, skat og moms sammen med varerne. Man skal derfor ikke betale yderlige gebyrer, men DHL Express opkrævede gebyr på 100kr, hvis jeg ville have min pakke udleveret.
Jeg har sendt dem en mail, men ingen har gidet at svare tilbage. Jeg sendte også en mail til shoppen og fortalte dem om problemet - dette er velkendt for dem, da de længe har haft problemer med DHL i forbindelse med de opkræver gebyrer, og vil gerne refundere det fulde beløb.

Deværre er DHL espress den eneste forsendelsesmulighed jeg har, så ved at de stjæler penge fra folk på denne måde får shoppen desværre færre kunder. Hvor er det ærgerligt at en forretning som DHL skal ødelægge det for en ellers super god shop.
