I ordered DDD some records many times and I always had a great experience. Excellent communication, fast shipment (and extra fast by special request), great packaging, very kind people... Everything is fine!

Yes, sometimes there can be unexpected delays, I had one with my latest order, but what can you possibly criticize against a small and independent record distributor/label trying their best to ship records amongst the hundreds of thousands of Shein/Temu/Amazon/etc packages which completely saturate postal networks worldwide, and ESPECIALLY during Black Friday/Christmas times? And how can you not realize they can themselves be overwhelmed by the biggest amount of orders of the year and possibly reduced staff because people have the right to take holidays lol???

The 1-star review complaining not to get his records on time for Christmas and ordering 6 days before it (and with a weekend in between lol) is completely unfair : Normal people plan their gifts sent via the post office a MONTH in advance.

This 1-star review is absolutely NOT representative of what you should expect while ordering from them, once again I always had a great time ordering from them and was always reassured about delays.

Great selection to pick from. UK stockists for certain labels too which is great. Joe’s really good at helping out where he can if delivery address change or you want to know if he’s getting preorders for things.

Have been shopping from devil dog since way back. Fair pricing and great range of stock from many labels. Never had an issue with adding or amending orders, joe is nothing but accomodating, even delaying delivery at my request. My go to online record store.

I was looking for some converge records for Xmas presents, they had them in stock and UK based? So far so good. Placed my order on the 18th and messaged asking if they would come back in time, Joe mailed me saying he would try to get them out to me that day. 30th of December I have emailed twice at this stage and I get a message saying the stuff I wanted wasn’t in stock but they have some other variants I could have. I told Joe to cancel and a week later I get the refund. Then had the gall to say I’m snotty on the internet. Be better dude.

In short, steer clear unless you want shoddy service.

I've been ordering regularly from them for at least a year now, and have spent far more than I'd like to admit, but the products, service, and quality they offer deserves some praise and recommendation.
Being a fan of alternative music, I was struggling with the USA import costs, or just getting hold of some items and then I discovered this wonderful UK distributor, who not only charges very reasonable prices but also has exclusive vinyl variants!
I've made some wonderful additions to my record collection thanks to them, and have likely saved a small fortune on shipping and import tax. My most recent addition was the new AFI album Silver Bleeds the Black Sun... which came in 3 vinyl variants and cd, all which arrived perfectly packaged within days of the album release, and within hours of them receiving stock. I have a preorder for Jack's Manniquin debut album reissue, in their exclusive vinyl variant only weeks away now.
Orders will have flyers, stickers, and even promo cds added as a free bonus, and these extra attentions to detail is not wasted on me- consistent quality of service is a rare fine these days, and I show my appreciation by adding a tip at checkout whenever I can spare to.
If I was forced to note a con to all the pros, I guess it would be that some items sell out incredibly quickly, but then if buyer demand increased I'm sure stock quantity would also increase.
If you're like me and are into the music they provide, then I would strongly recommend placing an order and finding out for yourself. I hope they continue for many years, and will certainly be getting continued custom from me!
