Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service from this company, with no communication beyond the initial order confirmation. The website and confirmation email state that orders will be dispatched within 5–7 days, yet I’ve received no updates. It is now the third week since I placed my order. I’ve attempted to contact the seller multiple times via email and phone, but have not received any response. Each call went to voicemail, and despite leaving a message, I haven’t heard back.

I had a pair of glasses I had previously purchased from designer glasses, reglazed recently and they did a fabulous job. So pleased with them!!
Poor customer service
Very poor customer service from this company, with no communication apart from them gladly taking my order.
The website & confirmation order say they will despatch within 5-10 days or will contact if there are any problems but I’m into the 3rd week and they won’t reply to emails or return voicemail.
I just want to know if they will be delivered in time for my holiday but will need them by Friday so I guess not.
Posting on here to hopefully prompt a response
Update: They did contact me yesterday after posting here and glasses were received today so alls well in the end.
Extremely poor customer service
Really poor I'm afraid. Not a problem ordering but my order was lost within the postal system. Designer Glasses accepts this and committed to open a claim. This has been ongoing for several weeks with my ordered placed at the end of April.
Despite multiple attempts to understand if this has been actioned, they have ignored me. No refund, replacement or even voucher offered despite having spent close to £250.

Gave designer Glasses 5stars because of their helpful and friendly service. Delivery was as promised. Nicky and Annie were very helpful. Thus was not the first time I had purchased from them. I highly recommend designer Glasses. Lady on the South Coast.

Damaged packaging
whilst the process of purchasing the glasses went fine, and an error was fixed with the prescription, when i had returned my fr
ale to be amended, i sent the whole packaging with it, when the glasses were returned back to me, the outer designer packaging had a huge slit in it, therefore the box does not close, i have paid alot for the product and emailed several times to have new packaging sent as it definitely was not sent to them in the state it was returned in, I am still waiting to hear back from them after several emails, the glasses are perfect but no case or packaging to put them in as it’s been returned damage

Excellent. Had a pair of Tom Ford glasses re-glazed because my prescription has changed. Very easy service to use. Signed-For Royal Mail was one day each way. I ordered and paid for the new lenses online so Nicky ordered them in while I was mailing the glasses. The whole process took four days. Excellent. I uploaded a pic of my new prescription which helps avoid mistakes. So, back to perfect vision with those glasses. Nicky was very efficient, courteous and professional. Great service all round.

Worst service ever!
Absolutely worst service ever! Placed order on the 20th of December '24. 13 Feb '25 and I've had 5 emails email apologising about some unexpected delay followed by promises of following up and prioritising my order just to receive another apology again. Never again!

Excellent service
Ordered the glasses off my prescription, even sent a photo of it but when I received them something wasn’t right. A few emails with Nicky regarding the issue, we both believed it looked like a printing error on my prescription as in the - was actually a +. I offered to pay for a new lens but they would not take any money, just asked me to return them. 4 days later the glasses came back with a different lens which are perfect & at no extra cost.
Massive thank you to Nicky for the way everything was handled, no stress & I would definitely recommend Designer Glasses to anyone, I will always use them.

I made a mistake when I sent my prescription and a very nice lady sent me an email questioning the prescription. She then corrected my mistake and I now have a lovely pair of Tiffany glasses which I am thrilled with. Excellent service and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them

Terrible service ordered new glasses for my holiday with lots of time to spare sent email told find out what’s happening got the usual oh I’m sorry to here this we will send your glasses special delivery to insure you have them for your holiday and still no glasses said they would be here Saturday if the new lenses come in all ifs and buts not good for the customer certainly wouldn’t use them again as lots of other companies out there got 6 pairs of glasses from other online companies never a issue with dates and delivery

The dispatch time (in comparison to other companies) was superbly quick! I thought it’ll take longer due to the complexity of my lenses, I’ve just tried them on and I’m thrilled! Update : Rayban Prescription Sunglasses
I would like to write an updated review on my previous review dated 09/09/2024.
I was a little exhausted after my first encounter with the designer glasses customer service team. Then along came Nicky. Not long after trying to explain my issues with a different employee with no success I received a person call from a lady named Nicky. She had taken a look into my complaint regarding my prescription. Rayban sunglasses having no branding and stated that there was room for improvement in the eay the issue eas addressed originally and for this she would order me some Raybans with the branding showing on the lenses (for prescription lenses there is not branding unless you pay extra. I was unaware of this)
Nicky sorted my issues quickly and with a lovely manner. Thank goodness for customer service people like Nicky. Thank you so much.
