I purchased a stone with an airplane…
I purchased a stone with an airplane design for my son who is a pilot. He loved it and couldn't stop looking at it or showing it to friends! Such good quality.

I wrote a review on their website of the address stone. That review is nowhere to be found there. They only have positive reviews on their website because they don’t post actual customer reviews for people who did not have a good experience. They say their stone is 21 x 21. It’s not 21 inches even if it’s widest part. It’s more like 17 to 18 inches throughout. It arrived with a substantial chip on the edge. I sent them an email. They didn’t respond for four days so I sent them another email. Only then did they respond. They did offer to send me a replacement stone because of the chip, but had no justification for their deceptive representation of the sizing

This is on their website. All of it is untrue. They miscommunicated to me that the letters would be 3" tall. They were barely 1 1/2" in height. They said the 3" was for the larger stone but I had sent them my question that expressly related to the 15 x 15 size. It took approximately 10 days to receive the package. When I wrote them about several issues with the stone, they took several days to even respond to my complaints. The stone was more like 14 x 14, the address was not centered on the poor looking stone, the rod that came with it was bent, and there was an "imbedded" piece of the foam on the back of the stone that took a long time of scrubbing to get most of it off. They were very aggressive with their emails while trying to get me to buy the overly priced stone and then silence until I sent a 4th email pointing out the discrepancies from what they promised to what they delivered. I have not heard from them since. I tried to review them on their website but, of course, I couldn't find access to do that.
DON'T order from these people unless you have a proof! We ordered a 21x21 stone, very expensive. They put an apostrophe in our stone that was not typed in when it was ordered. They also did not provide a proof, and if they had, I would have caught this. They denied the mistake, and when I asked for the email proof to be resent to me, they could not provide it.
Design A Stone talks a good game, and I can understand volume will play in their favor for good experiences. Mine was disappointing to put it politely. My stone was a generic stone, Tree of Life. We requested the inscription be added Tiny Timbers, which is how we refer to our property. The stone arrived, no inscription. I followed up and was told this is what I ordered. No further communication. $300.00 for nothing but a generic flat stone. I would not recommend their customer service department.
I was very pleased with my stone and receiving it in a timely manner. My order was not customized just for me as it was one of their NCAA offerings. Very pleased.
I would never order from this company again. They cannot live up to their agreement. I paid extra for expedited order. One – two days. The order has been scheduled on four different days and still has not been delivered.
