I really wanted this product to work as…

I really wanted this product to work as advertised, but it didn’t. I blended and what happened was I looked like I had white dry skin all over my face. Hugely disappointing as it is of no use to me whatsoever. I have contacted them to ask if they have a money back guarantee and am waiting to hear back.

ETA: I did have success with customer support and received a quick and acceptable refund offer!

Terrible experience with this company…

Terrible experience with this company on the whole.
The product took a while to arrive.
Then it was so white it made me look like a ghost. Definitely not what I saw advertised on the videos on social media.
When I contacted them, they did get back to me fairly quickly, which was the one good point. However they weren’t compliant to a return or refund. Just offering partial refund and no need to return the product. That just goes to show how bad it actually is that they aren’t concerned about getting unopened products back!
I want a full refund for a product that is essentially a scam.

I promised this company that I would add to my review by saying they have reached out to me and made good on this issue that I had. I did suggest that perhaps they check their customer service platform to ensure nothing and nobody is missed and they can therefore help and guide their customers more effectively. But thank you Derma Muse - you came good in the end.

They wanted to set up reoccurring orders / payment without my permission. I do not recommend them!

I wanted to buy the product so I filled out all my details and also card details. Thankfully I used Revolute`s one time use card details. When I went to check out, revolute declined the payment because the website wanted to set up a reoccurring payment, even though I specifically wanted to purchase only once. Revolute saved me from a headache! I will not buy from this company. One time use cards are super useful and saves you from such fraud! I recommend to everyone to use it!

We understand that this can be confusing, and we apologize if it was not clear during your checkout process.

Scam, do not order!

Scam,
Not just one. Multiple.
I ordered my products in mid February and they still didn’t arrive. Dermamuse uses some lame excuses because yes, they did answer but here are the issues:

1. Immediately with the purchase of the product I was added to a subscription which I didn’t need nor wanted. Fortunately I managed to cancel it.

2. Customer service shows me only that the product was sent to me only on their app. None of the links provided to the postal service work with the order numbers I was given.

3. And most disturbingly, shortly after I ordered products from dermamuse, I got a package from Amazon. My address, wrong name, no return address, no paperwork nothing. Inside was a cheep Nivea body balm. I since read that some scammers do that, namely send toy the random cheep product to be able to trigger a “genuine” review process. This is bad as bad can be. And then…. Guess what….here is the review in here which I already flagged, from Eva from Ireland bought on the same day as my order praising dermamuse. I realise that I’m not the only Eva in Ireland. But just too many coincidences.

According to our system, order #58426 was placed on February 18 and has been marked as "In Transit" with a last update showing it processed through a sorting facility. We understand your frustration that the tracking links provided did not work—this is not the experience we want for our customers, and we will investigate why this occurred.

Regarding the subscription:
When adding products to your cart, there is a checkbox for "Save 20% for Automatic Refills - Zero commitment, Cancel Anytime" that can be selected. We want to be transparent that this option is presented at checkout, but we understand how it could be overlooked. We apologize for any confusion this caused and are glad to hear you were able to cancel it.

Regarding the unsolicited Amazon package:
We want to be very clear: Derma Muse does not send unsolicited packages, nor do we engage in any practice of sending random items to generate reviews. We take this allegation extremely seriously. The package you received from Amazon with a Nivea balm did not come from us, and we have no connection to that shipment. If this was part of a "brushing" scam (where third parties send cheap items to create fake reviews), it is something we condemn, but it is not something we are involved in.

I would leave less than 1 star if I…

I would leave less than 1 star if I could. This is the most fraudulent company I’ve ever seen! As so many others have said the product is not at all as advertised. It goes on white and stays white. It sits on top of your skin and looks like chalk. When you try to stop auto ship you can’t. I’ve searched several times for cancel auto ship and I still have not found it. I wound up removing my payment method so I don’t get more of this horrible product. The shipping took forever. It’s bad from start to finish.
Update: A full refund was given with an apology following my review.

2. It's applied too thickly in one area rather than built up in thin layers

3. The shade range may not be the right match for your specific undertones

The Natural shade is formulated for medium skin with warm undertones. If you have cool undertones or very fair skin, this could explain why it's not adapting properly.

Hassle (Scam) after hassle (scam)

Update: after this review, the company followed their own process & refunded the entire amount. I appreciate that & increased to 2 stars.

Prior review: It took at least a month for the product to arrive and once it did, the quality was poor and did not work as advertised at all. Bought 2 shades & they’re not even marked what they are! Both shades did not blend in (stayed white). Company tries to auto subscribe customers monthly before initial product even arrives. Multiple emails to customer service to check where product - that I paid expedited shipping for - was. Cancelled auto subscribe before they could charge me again. Asked for refund due to their quality guarantee & they tried to negotiate that. Had to send pictures. Agreed upon a refund of 80% of total including shipping in writing to avoid having to pay freight to send back and they tried to refund less so I have disputed with my credit card company. My experience with the product and dealing with the company is it’s a scam. Made in China, btw. Not Korea. Buyer beware.
