I had my Smile Makeover at Dentakay Antalya and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff, doctors, and dentists were all incredibly professional, friendly, and skilled — they truly made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way.

The transport was top-notch and perfectly organised, communication and planning were amazing, and everything ran smoothly without any stress. The hotel provided was also great and added to the overall positive experience.

I’m beyond happy with my results and can honestly say Dentakay Antalya exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommended to anyone considering dental treatment abroad!

Dentakay has been brilliant from day one, I’ve had many issues with my teeth the last 4 years, and they have sorted everything within two and half days, the crowns look brilliant, and they look so Natural, everyone part of this team has been great.

Total scam for anyone getting all on six or four , the scam of getting you over after giving you a false quote before arriving is scandalous. Price increase by 100%.

⭐⭐⭐ DentaKay Turkey – real experience after 3 months

I chose DentaKay based on mostly positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, my experience was far more complicated than the initial offer suggested.

Initial quote: €7,000
(Including 28 zirconium crowns, 7 “Swiss” implants, 4 extractions, hotel, transfers, and €400 flight contribution)

🔴 The shock: after the first consultation, the price increased to €14,358 (with a €250 “discount”).
The explanation was that the “Swiss” implants were not suitable for my bone density and had to be replaced with Straumann implants, which are significantly more expensive.

The main issue: this should have been identified before traveling, not after arriving in Turkey.
At the clinic, I met several international patients who experienced the exact same situation.

Another important detail that was not clearly communicated upfront: the initially proposed “Swiss” implants are not manufactured in Switzerland. They are manufactured in Turkey.

Organization was also an issue, one day I had no scheduled appointment and was informed at the last minute that the driver was coming.

Medical side:
Here things are very good.
The implants were placed by Dr. Turham Bicki, an extremely experienced doctor, and the final aesthetic result is excellent( done by doctor Mert Ozcan). The teeth look exactly how I wanted.

❗ One downside: the final crowns were placed quickly (within 5 days), the gums were still inflamed, and now food gets trapped under the work — hopefully this can be adjusted.

Conclusion:

* Very skilled doctors, high experience, fast treatment
❌ Poor price transparency, pressure at decision time, organizational issues

Advice:
Get a CT / bone density scan before accepting any quote and ask for a written offer with a clear price variation limit.

I would recommend DentaKay medically, but not the way pricing and sales are handled.

I cannot praise Dentakay highly enough. From the airport collection to the airport drop off, everything has been first class.

Communication from the planning team was great. My quote did change however that was my choice as I upgraded the implants & quality of teeth.

Dr Murat is such a perfectionist & wasn’t happy with the first set of permanent crowns. I stayed for 2 extra days but Dentakay paid for my flight & hotel for this.

On my final fitting, Dr Murat wasn’t happy about one of the crowns, so I waited while another was made.

Finally I would like to personally thank my particular dentist Dr. Mehmet Murat Kurt, he took very good care of me, was kind and informative, but his unique attention to detail in achieving the best possible outcome was completely unique and reassuring. My teeth now look totally natural but almost perfect.

A special mention to Dr. Sevgi Erkan, who very beautifully carried out the specialist root canal treatment required, she was kind, caring, and very informative. The process was completely painless.

Excellent work was done for me. My new teeth are wonderful. I would recommend flying into Istanbul for a whole mouth restoration if you need help with your teeth.

I Completed my second visit to dentakay and 3 days after returning to UK, a day before Christmas, the fixed plate on bottom jaw on six implants snapped right in centre, thinnest part of denture in half. That's when eating soft bread. 12k total cost down the drain. That's merry Christmas from dentakay. Avoid at all costs! Whilst I was attending clinic I met another patient that had to fly back 5 times due to poor fitting work and problems with it. Does denta Kay think we have unlimited funds to fly over every year, several times a year and pay for flights and hotel,just after paying almost 12k for permanent teeth that didn't last 3 days? If value your health and don't want to be financially distroyed, avoid dentakay at all costs. There was also significant price increase of almost 3k from original 9k quote, due to root canals and temporary teeth, whilst I can agree with root canal charges, to charge for temporary teeth in first visit was absolutely outrageous and scam, as this was not mentioned by representative when I agreed to fly over, I was assured that temp teeth would be free. Most reputable companies provide 6 months temporaries included in package. This was not the case! Very unhappy. Dentakay has ruined all my plans for next year and I'm left financially ruined with dental work that lasted three days!, based on this, can I recommend dentakay? absolutely not! If you're wondering how they get positive reviews, then i can tell you, that when your treatment is finished, the staff make you write a positive review in a very pushy manner,just before you leave clinic. I am not the only person to mention this about reviews so dentakay needs to stop denying this unsavoury practice in their responses. They asked me for positive review too, which I originally gave them, but this scam and poor dental work needs to stop! 12 k in the bin for teeth that lasted 3 days. Having spent almost 12 thousand, I shouldn't be resigned to eat mashed potato for rest of my life now? They have destroyed me mentally, physically and financially. Do you still want to visit dentakay???? It seems like they acquired good reviews since being founded in 2009 then once they got sufficient amount of them they started increasing their prices,asking for reviews and basically put you on production line that provides quality of dental work that doesn't last three days and costs over 10 grand. Make your own conclusions. So far from aftercare team I've received copy and paste template replies that doesn't express concern for my wellbeing or show any eagerness to resolve the issue.
Update : dentakay has since reached out and offered accommodation and transfers as goodwill gesture so that i can access dental work warranty services which I do appreciate. I'm yet to find funds for the flight to travel over, as financially it is too soon after I've just paid for treatment and this incident had happened a day before Christmas. As well as I have work commitments so I'll be able to travel end of February.. I will keep you all updated. And hopefully I'll be a happy customer.

I would like to share my experience with Dentakay in Istanbul, highlighting both the positives and the challenges I encountered during my dental treatment.

Upon my arrival at the airport, I experienced a wait of nearly two hours for my transportation to the hotel. This lengthy delay was not the ideal start to my visit. The following morning, I had a scheduled appointment but had to wait an additional 45 minutes for my pickup from the hotel.

During the consultation, I was initially quoted a specific price for the treatment, but was later informed by a supervisor that the cost had tripled. After discussing this concern, the clinic agreed to honor the original quote, which I appreciated. However, I found that not all necessary treatments were completed as promised.

Specifically, I communicated my need for a root canal on an upper tooth, but this treatment was not performed. After three days of experiencing significant pain, I reiterated my concerns to the dentist, who then confirmed that a root canal was indeed necessary. Unfortunately, midway through the treatment, I was approached with demands for additional payment, which I felt was inappropriate given that I was already undergoing the procedure.

It seemed that many patients were facing similar issues regarding significant price increases. Unfortunately, I felt that the clinic prioritized financial gain over patient care, which was disappointing, particularly as I had chosen a seemingly reputable clinic expecting a higher standard of service.

Furthermore, the aftercare support team did not meet my expectations in terms of professionalism and efficiency, leaving me feeling unsupported.

As a result of these experiences, I have decided to seek treatment elsewhere to complete my dental care. They make you do your review before you leave the clinic and make sure it’s positive but I refused to.

I hope this feedback helps others considering Dentakay for their dental needs. I’ve also noticed you only respond to positive feedback not negative.

December 2025 I have returned for a check up. I found that my crowns needed tightening and polish.
The dentist…Doctor Eda was absolutely fantastic, courteous, respectful and very Informative. She tended to my treatment with care and consideration and I was very happy with the service received on this occasion. The clinic here in Şişli is very convenient for local amenities and hotels. The staff here are so friendly and welcoming. My translator…Mahmoud is a true gentleman and very respectful too.
I have to add that this experience with Dentakay has been the best and this is now my 4th visit to the clinics and the beautiful city of Istanbul.

Amazing experience. Erick truly stood out extremely professional, caring, and supportive from the very beginning. He guided me through everything and even ensured my child and I arrived safely after a delayed midnight flight.

Sitting eating my christmas dinner on Christmas day and this crowd have sales agents ringing me trying to sell me dental care. REALLY? do they not understand boundaries? Do they not respect Xmas? Do they really think this is an effective way to target people? Christmas day is a time for holidays and this crowd are trying to sell dental care.

November 2025 was my first visit to Dentakay. I am very happy that I chose Dentakay. I was treated like a star. Everything was perfect, from the flight to the hotel and from the hotel to the clinic. All the staff were at the highest levels from the doctors to the nurses. I have not finished the treatment yet, I need a second visit but I am very confident that everything will go well.
