I really like the print itself, but when I received it the quality was not what I expected. I ordered a black and white print and it was printed on thick matte paper, and you could see the pixels of the print. I expected more looking at the price.

I can not follow your order or see which print you are referring to as you have not provided an order number or name.
Sorry to hear the poster did not live up to your expectations. What I do know is that there are no square pixels on any of our posters. We are very strict in only printing posters with high resolution images. On some prints there are round raster dots and some prints have a visible grain from the analog film that the photographer has used. The fact that the poster is printed on mat paper is clearly stated in the product description. We think it creates a tactile feel.
We do our best to always improve. At Democratic Gallery you can buy with confidence. Feel free to return the print for a full refund if you wish to do so.

Good Art, Not so good quality print
I really like the products on offer and I thought the price was good. However I was a little bit disappointed with the print quality of the image upon arrival. Both the prints I bought were black and white photographs and so the quality of the black is quite important in images overall effect, and it was just a bit underwhelming.

When printing on glossy paper blacks are often perceived as deeper however we have chosen to print on matt paper to create a tactile, low key look and feel.
