Ordered from Defeet UK - website vanished a week later!

My wife ordered some gloves for my birthday from Defeet UK on the 1st October 2024. Their UK office is located around 10km from our location. We never received a shippng notification and when she emailed to asked about the shipment, she was sent a refund from an anonymous shopify storefront email address, no explanation, no message, nothing.

The website then vanished as if they shut down all operations but care so little they couldn't be bothered to notify their customers.

I am really astonished that any company would think this is an acceptable to behave in 2024!
