We have just purchased a Honda Jazz from this company and it was a pleasure from start to finish to deal with this family business, nothing was too much trouble for them and we would certainly return here again for our next car, It was a breath of fresh air to buy from a family business instead of the big boys. Recently bought a car from deepdale…

Recently bought a car from deepdale motors and i cannot fault the service that we received from them Matt and Sy have gone above and beyond from us first looking at the car through to purchasing it. We purchased a kia optima. Their after sales is brilliant too. Couldn't do enough for us. We would highly recommend using this car company if you need a vehicle. Thanks again Matt and Sy, will definitely use you again if we need to purchase another vehicle.

These guys go above and beyond

These guys go above and beyond. The car was beautifully presented and we were given lots of time to check around and in the car on our own. As we didn't know the roads we were accompanied on our test drive. Very friendly and helpful, and no pressure was put on us at any time. Delighted with our new car and the whole experience.

I bought a car from them 6 weeks ago…

I bought a car from them 6 weeks ago for my wife for the price of £ 5800 but she likes to change it so we went back there to look at a renault she liked only to be told that that they would give me £ 2400 for the car I bought from them for £ 5800. SHOCKING. Needles to say I will NEVER buy a car from them again. DON'T go there to buy a car!!!

We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy. I did try to explain that because you have only had the car such a short time we would not be able to resell it again because the next person buying it would assume there was a problem with it. I did not actually offer a price for it I just showed you the current auction values. I was going to suggest other avenues of selling it but you left immediately before I could explain or offer assistance with that. As a reputable dealer we have a lot of expenses and tax to pay so most of the difference between trade price and retail price goes to cover them.

Very good experience with DeepdaleMotor Company - highly recommended

DeepdaleMotor Company made a bid for our car via Motorway. They contacted us promptly after we accepted their bid, and Matthew explained the process very clearly. They offered a choice of collection dates, and on the day we selected arrived promptly. After a test drive they confirmed their offer and transferred the money into our bank account before they left. Very professional, and highly recommended.

Deepdale don't honour their bids

Sold a 10-year-old Honda CR-V to Deepdale, but when they came to collect it, they wanted to reduce the price for every little detail - even scuff marks on the plastic liners of the boot compartment! When I rejected their first offer after inspecting the car, they said that the 'sale agreed' price they bid on Motorway is the maximum they would ever pay, not an agreed price.

Great company to deal with

We saw a Volvo V40 Cross Country on Deepdales website on the Friday night, went to see it at 10am the following day and drove it home at 1130am. We were able to do that as they make sure their cars are MOT’d, serviced and prepped ready to go, that shows confidence in the cars and means that decisions can be made quickly.
We were delighted with the car and the deal. The following day there was a low voltage warning for the battery. A quick call to Mathew was all it took to make arrangements for the battery to be replaced.
Great quality cars, honest description, professional service and very nice to deal with.
I highly recommend Deepdale Motor Company.

This is the second car we have bought…

This is the second car we have bought from Deepdale. Both times after having had a car written off in a no fault accident. Matthew and the team could not have been more helpful and reassuring to two old folk who had been through a traumatic experience. We had a wide choice of cars at prices within our budget.
We highly recommend this company for their efficient and friendly service and their reliable cars.

Great buyers - pleasant experience

Sold my car to this company last week and from start to finish it was easy, transparent and fair throughout. Everyone warned me dealerships will try to barter you down on the offered price once they've seen the car, but I've learnt that clearly is only the case if you're not honest upfront! As we were it was seamless - they arrived on time, kept in touch and couldn't have been more polite/helpful when with us. The money was transferred immediately and both parties happy with the deal - there's a great Sportage on their forecourt we've loved and looked after if you want a reliable family car :-) thank you Deepdale, would recommend.

Professional and caring team


I can not speak any higher of Chris and his team at Deepdale Motors.
After collecting our newly purchased Ford Focus, a day later we decided on a trip to the seaside. On the way home we felt the car judder and then it stopped. This was at approximately 1645 on a busy dual carriage way. A frantic call taken by Matthew resulted in us being rescued and supplied with a courtesy car. We eventually landed home safely, complete with dog .
The next day Chris contacted me to say the clutch had failed and would be repaired at no cost to us. Three days later we collected our repaired car.
This is the second car we have purchased from Deepdale motors and we would not hesitate in buying another.

Reliable professional service from looking for a car to purchase. …

All staff were very helpful,polite and professional when looking to purchase a car.
They helped me to make the decision to purchase the vehicle without pressurising me or bombarding me with information I couldn't understand.
Would highly recommend all the staff especially Jamie who took time and patience despite having to reiterate constantly. Sorted all the paperwork for me that I would have found daunting.

Warm, friendly,professional and honest

I recently went to view a 18 plate Kia Sportage that I had seen advertised on their website. The staff greeted me and offered their help If I needed it but left me to have a look round, without giving me any "sales patter" which the main dealers often bombard you with.
Whilst I took the car for a test drive, they looked at my 13 plate Ford Focus which I was trading in. I chose to buy the Kia and was given a good and fair trade in price.
Although you can buy an extended warranty,they advised me that as the Kia warranty was still active it wouldn't be worth even offering to sell it to me. They taxed my new car and transferred ownership of my old Ford Focus.
The whole process was hassle free and very professional. The staff were warm and friendly and honest.
For customer service I can't praise them enough and would recommend them to anybody looking to buy a car.

Pppffffffttt …

Bought a Volvo c30 2 yrs ago if they sell u a car with a slow puncture knowing this they are just money hungry sharks it's had gearbox issues needed wishbones after a year if I had the money I'd pay to have it dropped from a great height on they're portacabin during office hours

Traumatising deadly experience

Horrible experience, a ford that I bought on the 10th of September 2023, broke down yesterday Sunday 17th September. I am writing this as they said that there was no problems and that the car was perfectly fine. They described the car was in perfect state they were wrong.👺

Hi we have checked our records and did not sell a Ford on the date mentioned above. We have also not had a call regarding a breakdown. We can only assume that the car was not purchased from us but from someone locally to us that trades from their driveway but is using a very similar name to us. We have had this issue for many years and complained to the council but because the trading name is not exactly the same they can’t do anything. Very good

I've just bought a car from Deepdale Motor Company. The staff were very helpful and there was no hard sell. Dealt with Jamie who was friendly and made the whole experience as stress free as possible. I would definitely recommend this garage for good quality cars at a reasonable price.

Left with a faulty car

Do not waste your time with these people.

I bought a car from here 2 months ago as I wanted to buy with peace of mind from a dealership knowing the car would be in good working order. The vehicle unfortunately had many problems, including a faulty alternator, headlights and wing mirror. I got in touch with them to try and sort these issues out and they pawned me off to a warranty company. The warranty company told me they were unable to do anything and when getting back in touch with Deepdale, they have said there was nothing they could do, refusing to take the car back (less than a few hundred miles done from date of purchase) or even inspect it. Appalling.

This company has sold me a faulty vehicle and have taken NO responsibility for the problems it had, leaving me in the dark. I feel as though I have been misled and would advise anyone reading this to stay very far away from this place and use a different dealership.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with the purchase of your 13 year old Toyota Aygo from us. We were made aware of a minor issue with the adjustment of a wing mirror and agreed to pay for the repair on receipt of an invoice from a garage local to yourself. This was to save you the time and expense of travelling around 80 miles back to us. We have never been informed of an issue with the headlights or an alternator. We did receive a call from you a couple of days ago (just under 3 months after purchasing the car from us) stating that there was a noise when you started the car. We referred you to the warranty company. We were informed by the warranty company that the garage you took it to was unable to diagnose where the noise was coming from and therefore rejected the claim. We have offered to repair this free of charge but you declined. All of our cars are independently inspected by a reputable local garage and by your own admission the Aygo was in good working order when you purchased it from us. It was impossible for us to predict the issues you have had with the car but we have tried our best to resolve them. We are still happy to look at your car and provide you with a courtesy car whilst we do so as previously discussed. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
