I recently visited Debbie for Facial and feet Reflexology and she truly is exceptional. The whole experience felt like a much needed escape from everyday stresses — calming, nurturing, and deeply relaxing. Her techniques are so varied and skilful, and you can really feel the difference both during the session and long after. I left feeling lighter, refreshed, and completely at ease. Debbie is not only brilliant at what she does, but she’s also such a genuinely lovely person. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a restorative pamper session.

Visited the Lightwater branch today, a lovely big shop that I have both donated and shopped in several times. Today I had my nieces with me and whilst looking at the toys, I overheard the 3 members of staff complaining about how it was all tidy and the girls were messing it all up (they are not babies and were simply looking through a box of small toys). I found this very unprofessional and off putting. We left immediately without making a purchase and went elsewhere. Unfortunately this has put me off using this shop again.

Initially accepted my furniture donation then abruptly refused it via email when it came to arranging collection. Didn't respond to my query why. Has happened twice, despite the fact I live very close to the shop so not a long distance for them to come for a good quality donation. Sadly not reliable - British Heart Foundation much more consistent and professional for large furniture collection.

Hi
It’s not often i write reviews, however after 8 years of visiting your lovely little shop in Send. I was dismayed, with confusion, and displeasure.
Send has always been an appreciate shop of all donation with staff & volunteers very engageing.
I had many collectable items & jewellery that i know would have bought value to the charity. On two occasion prior to xmas i was greeted with digruntlement and what appeared displeasure. At the time of my visit i observed a notice on the door advising potential customers that no donation would be accepted. From a personal volunteering experience. I appreciate that some charities can be overwhelmed and i have also personally witnessed this at your Send store. So with good intentions i returned home for a 2nd time with my donations. In january i tried my 3rd attempt, only to encounter the same signage and the same disgruntled staff with a very negative attitude.
I have personal connections with the condition EB and i have always tried to be supportive to this charity. My recent experiences have now made me reconsider to loyaly to Debra. Disappointed!!

I had the misfortune to step inside the Stockport branch open door, to get: "We are closed"; quite rudely, by the most unfriendliest middle aged man, who hasn't a clue how to treat possible customers, and clearly in the wrong job) Not only are manners free but he must have driven a lot of customer's away and lost plenty of donations. Not only will I never go in that shop again, I will be avoiding all their shops. Clearly by reading the reviews, they all are obnoxious, ill mannered and very unpleasant staff. Customer's don't expect or deserve to be treated like dirt under the staff's feet. And if charities are turning their noses up at donations, time the public stopped donating items and ceased financial ones and let them close down.

Visited the Fleet branch with a selection of items, some unused and including suits, that have been hardly worn, all dry cleaned. As I walked in to the shop and found a member of staff, I was shouted at 'we can't take any donations of anything'. The assistant didn’t even ask what I had to offer and not even a sign on the door, saying that weren't taking donations. I went to SCOPE and the reception and appreciation couldn't have been most different.

I have noticed since there has been new members of staff in the Linlithgow shop that the price have been a lot more expensive .was looking at a suit for my dad and noticed the price £99 pound for a suit in a charity shop i think it s a bit much . And the staff member was very Rude when I said it was a bit much.she just shrugged her shoulders and walked off i loved going into the shop but with the way new members of staff are acting don't think i will be bk .

Went to Debra charity shop in Bracknell ( martins heron) and was casually looking around, the prices of items anre absolutely ridiculous some prices are even more expensive than if they were brand new. So we picked up a toy dinosaur that had no price on took it to the till to purchase and the member of staff called over the manager and she said £5!!! Now come on £5 for a TOY dinosaur?? REALLY??!!! I quickly put it back and the manager was rather sarcastic! I won’t be shopping here again! I prefer coats in crowthorne!
This charity has caused me so much suffering. Other staff have also suffered at the hands of their heartless HR department and internal staff network where their approach was nothing but cruel and dishonest. I am still in shock and my trust in corporate charities has been totally destroyed.
Absolutely shocking company. Treat staff like dirt and HAVE ended up where they belong, in a tribuneral!
Very helpful and cheerful staff in Clydebank. As I’d not heard of this particular charity before they took time to explain what their goals were and why. How the illness can affect lives etc. I went in around 5 times in the time I was in the area and not always bought something. Prices were very reasonable and off good quality. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area.
Just had collections guys from Southampton store out to pick up 3 seater settee. After looking at it they decided it wasn’t for them, even though in my opinion it’s in very good condition. They then went on to say if we give them £60 they would take it away. When we said we would try to get rid of it ourselves he then told us that if we called them back they would charge £90 for removal. The collection guy said they were contractors. What is the problem with Charity Shops today, do they just want brand new items. Total scammers in my mind.
Great shop (Wimborne), very clean, tidy and organised . Ali is a wonderful Manager so helpful, efficient and always busy. Thank you Ali
Very impressed by Debra in Hatfield,Herts. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.
Holmfirth. Nasty, rude unpleasant woman serving. We'd enjoyed Holmfirth and the lovely people we met but this person was very very unpleasant. Not a good job choice for her at all. Lets the charity down I'd say. She barged into me with a pile of clothes, saying you shouldn't be behind the till in a nasty manner. (I wasn't behind the till I was next to it.) Maybe a sign on the rail would be helpful for people to know the rail was not for the public to browse would be helpful. I will not visit again and won't recommend the shop as long as that rude nasty person is still there. What a shame your charity loses custom because of her unpleasantness.
I found the staff at Debra charity shop Weymouth to be rude and judgemental very abrupt towards customers and staff alike
Find it to be a clicky store gossip and rumours
Overall will not be returning there prices are ridiculous I'm all good with charity but that's exactly what it's about charity they do nor seem to be very charitable themselves the nicest person in there was a young lad on a trainee ship and was Overall disgusted from the comment other staff made of his size and lack of experience
Don't order any furniture from this charity, Debra Weymouth. They give you a 2 hour time slot (mine was 10 - 12) and say they will ring you 30 minutes before they arrive. They eventually turned up at 1pm and didn't ring beforehand. They had to take the chest of drawers back because they couldn't get it up the stairs. They still charged me £25 delivery charge even though they had to take it back. Before they arrived I rang the shop asking if they are on their way and said I couldn't wait around indefinitely. All I got was a rude reply from the manager "what do you expect me to do about it".
