Bunch of LEGAL crooks in Switzerland!

Bunch of LEGAL crooks in Switzerland!

I was receiving postal letters (poorly printed, without signature of responsible person, and that was already suspicious) claiming money for FedEx.

I tried and spoke twice with some woman on the phone, and she "promised" to send me "original FedEx invoices" so that I can pay my debts (that were inexistant). Instead, she (or whoever else) sent me another postal letter with monthly slips to pay the due amount.

Immediately after, I sent them a warning e-mail with this:

"I am writing to formally notify you that the repeated correspondence from Debitors Management AG regarding alleged unpaid invoices for FedEx shipments is entirely false, baseless, and fraudulent. I have never received, nor agreed to any such debt, and your claims are entirely without merit.

Your continued attempts to contact me constitute harassment, intimidation, and attempted extortion, in violation of Swiss Criminal Code (Articles 143–146: Threats, Coercion, and Fraud) and Swiss Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG) provisions protecting individuals from illegitimate collection practices.

Accordingly, I hereby demand the immediate cessation of all communications and collection activities regarding these false claims. Any further contact will be considered illegal harassment and criminal behavior, and I will take immediate action, including but not limited to:

Filing criminal complaints under the Swiss Criminal Code (Art. 143–146) for fraud, coercion, and harassment.
Initiating civil proceedings for defamation, unlawful harassment, and any financial or reputational damages incurred.
Notifying relevant regulatory authorities, including FedEx’s legal department, Swiss consumer protection offices, and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).

This letter constitutes a formal Cease and Desist notice. All further attempts to contact me, demand payment, or threaten legal action regarding these fraudulent claims will be documented and used as evidence in both criminal and civil proceedings.

I expect written confirmation within 5 business days that all such activities have ceased. Failure to comply will result in immediate legal action without further notice."

Two weeks later I received from them an e-mail with this:
"We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the erroneous delivery of our letters.

Due to a homonym error in our address search system, you were accidentally sent letters that were not intended for you.

Please be assured that we have immediately removed your data from our system and will not contact you further in this matter.

We deeply regret this misunderstanding and thank you for your understanding. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us."

I only don't understand how the Swiss government allows these OBVIOUS crooks operate on their territory without sanction?!

Beware of Fraudulent Invoices

Beware of Fraudulent Invoices with Payment Slips!!!

I received a completely dubious invoice from Debitors Management SA, allegedly on behalf of “FedEx Express Swiss Post GmbH.” They claim that I failed to pay supposed fees from three years ago – without providing any proof, documentation, or clear details. The sender appears highly suspicious, and the combination of “FedEx” and “Swiss Post GmbH” is an obvious fake since these companies are not even connected.

The entire process screams fraud: intimidation through shady payment demands, completely unclear information, and an attempt to pressure people into making illegitimate payments. It’s an absolute disgrace!

Conclusion: Ignore it, do not pay, and seek legal advice immediately! This is fraud at its worst!

Too bad it is not possible to give 0 stars

Too bad it is not possible to give 0 stars. These people are scammers.
I receive invoices for a huge amount of money from them even though I have never used FedEX services. I don't know why Switzerland allows such obviously fraudulent companies to operate.

The guy on the phone refused to tell me his name

In July, I got a dunning letter from FedEx that I haven't payed a bill. I did receive a parcel but never had received the initial bill. So I payed it right after the dunning letter. I did however get more dunning letters and called FedEx. The lady on the phone told me I should use the form for exactly this case. I did and never had an answer from Fedex (although they claim that they will contact you withing 5-10 days in a standardised email!).

Now I got an insanely high bill from Debitors Management AG. I instantly called them to tell them, that I payed already and that I also used the form on FedEx's website about this matter and that I won't pay anything and will consider legal measures in this case, if it doesn't get solved.
The guy on the phone who spoke really bad german then said: Oh right, I see now that you payed it. Don't worry, we'll halt further dunning letters and legal steps.

Then, because I already was documenting this case (as FedEx never replied but happily also plastered me with dunning letters), I asked for the name of the guy at the other end of the phoneline (the debitors.ch guy). He wouldn't give me his name but instead said, there's a name on top of the dunning letter you received... I misread the name on purpose and the guy on the phone said: Yes, that's me!

What a scam!
I am still trying to get in contact with FedEx and wrote a mail (from my spam address) to debitors.ch as it says in the letter, that only written protest (within 10 days) will stop further legal actions. I demanded a confirmation that my "case" is closed!

Let's hope, this dunning nightmare ends. Otherwise I will have to get legal help.

A crooked bunch of scammers

I received a threatening letter from debitors.ch with regard to alleged services received from Fedex (where I don't even have an account) incorporating additional charges over and above what they falsely claimed I owed Fedex. Their letter which I insisted should be withdrawn threatened legal proceedings against me if I didn't pay within 2 weeks. Instead of withdrawing, they sent a further demand and then a 3rd letter about an entirely different false Fedex invoice. Needless to say, I didn't pay anything and countered by informing them that I would hand all future correspondence to my attorney for the ultimate cost of debitors.ch.
