Not worth it.

Trying to do business with Dear Brightly is total Crazy Town. Initial order okay, but thereafter I was billed without receiving product. No response to my phone messages. No response to my emails. No refund. After I blocked them from making further charges to my credit card, they sent an email asking for updated credit card info. When I responded via email again explaining my problems with their company, they emailed that they could not find an account for me and asked for the email address I used when ordering
(which of course is the one they used when asking for "updated credit card info). My advice: Don't go there.

Packaging issues

UPDATE - spoke with the owner of the company and was offered an apology, explanation, and partial refund. Rating changed from 1 --> 3

The product is fine (I actually like it quite a bit), but there's some issues with the packaging.

Online, all products are displayed in beautiful glass bottles. Dear Brightly charges a premium for their retinoids (read: EXPENSIVE), and their quality packaging is an integral part of the product itself. This was how I received my first order and was delighted.

My second order shipped in a janky cardboard wrapping and the bottle is cheap plastic. Not at all the beautiful product they advertise.

Customer service was rigid and unapologetic, and refused to issue a refund even though they sent me the wrong item. A paltry future discount doesn't alleviate the current issue that I'm left with: I paid $99 for something that I wouldn't pay $15 otherwise.
