It's a bit ridiculous to send an overpriced watch with the least reliable curier, the national post. I'm even reviewing without having recieved the watch yet after 20days(whithin Europe).

About Braun Clocks - DE
Written by the company
Over the last six decades, design has become a core pillar of the Braun brand. The values of quality, functionality, clarity, longevity and timelessness have been integrated into an enduring design philosophy. Braun users identify with these values; for them, Braun watches, Braun clocks, and Braun calculators are long-term companions. In an age of prosperity and saturation, the benefit of fewer, better products has become self-evident.
As Braun sets out to create desirable, innovative products, their gaze looks forward into the future, whilst the design principles they use to achieve consistency, simplicity and clarity are firmly rooted in the brand’s unique design legacy.
Through the productions processes in the Prestige collection, where the BN0095 has been crafted from a single block of stainless steel, to the use of materials for the Full Ceramic Watch, innovation remains a central focus on the Braun brand.
There are few better examples of these enduring design principles than Braun timepieces. These watches, clocks, and calculators have been created as collections of engaging simplicity, where less becomes so much more.

Braun is not German but UK based so Brexit makes it a disaster!
I have always thought that BRAUN is a German company with a German web shop. After the purchase of my alarm clock, it appears that the sending is very fast, but the reception is very slow. The package is now at customs (14 days) and after payment of 15.35 euros it will be sent home shortly.
My first Brexit experience is very bad!
Braun create an EU webshop for the EU countries and you have satisfied customers again! As it is now, once but never again.

Good customer service
I placed an order and when it was already paid for and processed, I later asked to change the delivery address. They could change it still because it probably wasn't fully processed yet. 5 out of 7 would recommend.
Buyer beware
Site appears to be German (de.braunclocks) but ships from UK. Massive import tariffs hidden in small print. No reply on complaints. Pathetic.

product very good - delivery service mediocre
The product is good and very satisfying. The shipment from England to EU is not well organized. Due to custom regulations the product is around 17% more than the price on the website. An American website often shows these additonal costs in the payment section for a product (e.g. moma online shop in NY). Due to this the parcel is shipped to a station but no one informs you about it. The website states: parcel delivered. Braun shop assistants do not help a lot so you have to make several inquieries until you finally get your product. There is room for improvement concerning information policy and service.

Customs surcharge due to Braun lack of information
The item was shipped from outside the EU, meaning that it incurs a customs surcharge of 21 Euros when arriving in Sweden. There was NO information of this from the Braun webshop, and means that the clock I purchased suddenly became 30% more expensive. I am utterly disappointed, and will never again buy anything from Braun!

Beautiful watch, but little information about taxes coming from the UK
First of all, I am receiving all information in German, not English, which makes it difficult for me to coop. Secondly, I was not properly informed about the massive amount of money I was going to pay in taxes, owed to the fact that I was ordering the watch from Spain, and it was coming from the UK. It was 80 Euros! That is almost 1/3 of the price of the item. You should really make it more clear in this kind of cases. The watch is beautiful.

VAT and postal service costs make your products very expensive
It was a very unpleasant surprise that I had to pay VAT at the post office. It is not only the VAT (21% of the prize) that it added, but Dutch postal services add 13,50 euro for the service of adding VAT. The watch was suddenly very expensive. Please ship from Germany. London is not in the EU anymore.

The 'de.braun-clocks.com' SCAM
I'm very unpleased and feel fooled by de.braun-clocks.com
Everything in this site makes us believe we're dealing with a German based e-shop — the brand, the prefix 'de' (for Deutschland, we thought) — but then, in the 'small letters' — hidden deep in the "shipping terms and conditions" —, we find out (too late for me) that all orders are dispatched from the UK, so, UE customers will be asked to pay custom taxes. This made the price almost double and had to wait about a month for my order to be released.
Never again, thanks!!

EN: The clock itself is perfect, the purchase was not. Bought from a German brand in their German store in German paied with €, yet without any noticeable warning was hit with a 22% import from UK tax with the corresponding handling charges.
Had I known this would happen, I would have rather went to Amazon or some other shop.
In the end the clock cost almost double. Braun clocks was also far from understanding with my issue with the lack of tax warning.

Braun is known as decent brand which stands for German quality design.
When ordering I didn't realize that the shipping would come from the UK.
The result was that a significant surplus had to be paid when the parcel arrived in Vienna (customs and tariffs whatever). Btw I was not at home so the postman couldn't drop the parcel in front of the door cause he had to charge me....
Unpleasant unpleasant.
Please work on returning the UK to the European Union.
Who does really think Brexit was and is a good thing?
