ECONO SHIPPING not worth the hair pulling!

perhaps good batteries? but shipping? FORGET IT!!!
they use FEDEX ECONO SHIPPING. for those of you that don't know what that is. It means THEEE S L O W E S T shipping known to man! your battery will have a bare minimum of 4 stops along the way before it gets to the main hub. meaning you MIGHT get it under 2 weeks. and if it gets lost and that happens a LOT with fedex. theres no telling when or if you'll see it at all so now dchouse will hold your money until they have it back. ECONO SHIPPING is a nightmare from start to finish.

My battery was stolen by the carrier and dchouse won't help.

Like Larry I got a gate opener from DC…

DCHouse is a Chinese based company selling electric gate openers through Ebay. Like Larry in the USA, I got a gate opener from DCHouse in the UK in June 2022, ready to fit in a new property when the gates arrived. Due to delays they arrived in October and the gate opener was fitted at the end of December. Not worried because the DCHouse advert claimed a 12 month warranty. It worked for four days before the rectifier in its charge circuit gave up. Wendy to the rescue, but they wanted £40 to cover carriage for a new control box. So not such a free warranty. I eventually agreed to pay, (no choice) and they asked for an e-mail address for the invoice. Neat this. After 30 days Ebay don't allow e-mail addresses to travel between buyer and seller. Their 'help' period is over. So I asked Wendy for a paypal invoice - since I had bought it on Paypal. Since then the silence has been deafening. (paypal don't help either). I think that the Wendy's of this world know all about timing. Basically the 12 month claimed warranty is as Winston Churchill put it - a 'Technological Inexactitude'. In the UK house of Commons, Ministers are not allowed to use the word 'Lie'. So be warned. After 30 days - your on your own ......

Customer Service

Purchased a complete gate opener system and we have been a struggling the 2nd week of September to make system dependable. It has worked periodically at best. I hired a licensed electrician to install control box and solar panel. The batteries would not take a charge. I bought a new set of batteries and they would not take a charge. At this point I was done dealing with the solar panel. I ran a circuit out of my garage panel to the control panel. The system still did not work. I hired a garage door company familiar with these systems. The tech confirmed what I had determined. The transformer is not working properly. All the while I have gone back and forth with Wendy through the customer service email. I lost count of how many trial and error suggestions we came up with sending her photo comparisons to wiring diagrams she would talk with techs on that end and nothing worked. She is sending me another box with new components. We all agree it must be the transformer. Customer service is top notch. One of the best I have ever delt with. I am 57, I have had to deal with some terrible situations in the past. Wendy has never left me hanging without a response or an effort to make this right. This is the only reason I have not put it back in the box and returned it demanding a refund. I have not received the the new parts yet so the system is currently not working.

One word - Amazing!!!!

I recently bought a fairly run-down property via Sam Gordon @ Australian Property Scout. It was a cracker of a deal. Through the purchase process, the DC House team were amazing in estimating the issues in the P&B (so many), reno costs and quoting for a granny flat build. A true one-stop-shop. Very professional. They gave us all the confidence we needed to make a stress free purchase.

After settlement, they were on site within days to carry out the works. They sent regular updates, managed the budget brilliantly knowing we were investing and kept up communications with all parties including Sumayya Burger from Ray White to get her opinion from a rental perspective (she's another rockstar in this amazing group of people). With effective communication between Casey and Sumayya, she had the place rented within days of the DC House team being finished.

All in all, we couldn't be happier with everything the DC House team have done for us. In particular, with how they integrated into the buying process, through to carrying out the works and then helping to get us an income. I couldn't recommend them highly enough - thanks DC House team, you are amazing!!!!
