FK95 PWM radiator fan controller
I Purchased the top end FK95 controller from dccontrol to improve car engine coolant temperature control with an electronic, variable speed radiator fan controller. The controller worked for about a year until it failed.
Contacted dccontrol for help and just got a lapidar answer:
“It probably blew the pass-FET from over-voltage, you definitely don't want to continue to run it before repairing it”
I asked for a discounted control module, since I did not need the wiring harness etc. - no responce
Ordered a new part beginning of March and the amount for the ordered product was charged 8. March without any further response from decontrol until I contacted PayPal 15. April to intervene.
In my opinion, the product is bad and the service of dccontrol is even worse.
This use of this controller could have cost me thousands of dollars in engine repair (overheating).
My recommendation, as good as it sounds to use electronic for radiator fan speed control (PWM etc.), it could lead to a weak point in your car reliability. I will reverse it back to simple on / off relay logic.
