Excellent communications thought the retrieval fo 14 years of photos and musicwhich would otherwise have been lost forever from my HDD.

I sent in my HDD. The estimated price was £300, but the next day it became "at least £800". The massive difference and the dubious final sum were not convincing. I declined the offer and asked another company that offered fixed prices.
Here came the trouble. Unfortunately, they returned that the drive has major damage and has signs of NON-PROFESSIONAL interventions.
So it seems that if they can't extort money, they don't care about your data anymore, just smash the parts together and mess up everything.

Extremely helpful team! We had a hard drive that contained all our family photos and unfortunately the head stopped working, the team were extremely helpful in informing us of what they were doing and what to expect from the data retrieval. Very quick to pick up the drive and extract the information and deliver our data back to us within a matter of days.

The process was extremely fast to collect my product. It took a while to extract the data although they told me it was quite easy to do. Originally i was concern I would not get my device returned, as this had sensitive information on it, i wanted to ensure the item/device was returned. After a quick discussion the item was returned the following day. Finished with a great experience.

Data Recovery Specialist were able to recover all the data that I needed from my dying hard drive.
This was not a cheap process, but it saved me hours of work recreating a number of files.
They kept me informed of progress and I was able to download the data without difficulty.

I damaged my external hard drive with precious data on it. I emailed Data Recovery Specialists, who gave me step-by-step instructions to send the drive to them to check it. Once they received it, I received a phone call from Dan who explained what he had found and also the next steps, if I agreed to proceed. Dan was friendly. He was understanding of what the information on the hard drive meant to me.
Dan managed to recover all my data on the drive and transfer it to a new drive which I had provided.
I would definitely recommend this company for recovering data.

They recovered the data which was amazing and a great relief. Communication was personal and informative. It was eye wateringly expensive and the recovered hard drive took quite a long time to get me. The cost and scare has made me stirs data (photos) in the cloud now.

The company was very professional throughout. It was, obviously, a tricky task, but the company put my mind at rest. We had regular communication which kept us up to speed with the process. Importantly, our data was fully recovered quickly. Would recommend - you get what you pay for.

After a sudden external HDD failure my heart sank, with many years of family photos and additional work data some which was current, thought to be lost. The team at DRS provided excellent service keeping me updated with process of recovery works to completion with all data recovered … brilliant… only downside comment I could make was the cost however you get what you pay for. Would fully recommend DRS.

Explain the service they provide, and approximate cost and the possible outcomes of recovery once they have checked diagnose my USB drive which was showing a red light not not registering on my laptop

From the start, having contacted the company from an internet search, staff were helpful but realistic about expectations and chances of retrieving data from a dead pen drive which was not recognised on any computer. They followed up my contact in a professional manner without being at all pushy. I was impressed with the fact all of the data has been recovered and is now stored on two separate external dives as well as the computer hard drive. Yes, there is always the Cloud, but for now, I prefer to hold data in house while we still have poor connectivity in a rural area. The recovery service is not cheap, but expertise and ability deserve to be paid for, especially as the fee is only applied if data is recovered. Thank you for an excellent service, bringing back data and documents which would otherwise have been lost forever. Hopefully it will not happen again, but I know my first port of call if lightning strikes twice. Highly recommended 👍

The response was quick and clear, easy to understand the process and the limitations of the process so that expectations are realistic. Recovered 95% of the data (photos) which was more than expected. I was kept informed of the progress via emails and phone calls. I was happy with the outcome and time taken, and although it was not a cheap recovery the photo memories were worth the cost. Would definitely recommend and use again.
