I have worked here for several months. Overall, the platform is simple and direct. The tasks vary in difficulty. My reason for not giving it 5 stars is job offers are often uncertain. I check the... See more

Serious, yet simple and flexible
"Working here is pretty simple. You take a qualification to unlock the task that matches your skills. When you have time, you can spend a few minutes or a few hours working on whatever is available. I like how they respect our time, effort, and honesty. Tasks aren’t always there, and when they show up, some need to be finished right away or they disappear from your dashboard. They respect our effort, but they are also very strict about submissions, so you really need to follow the instructions closely.
Another thing I like is how friendly the admins are. They are strict, but they answer questions fast and always try to help.
The hardest part is keeping up with the workflow and paying close attention to the instructions. There is always that pressure of being scared to make a mistake and get removed from a project. There is also the pressure of first come first serve, where if you are a bit too slow, someone else will take the task. Still, seeing an AI getting developed is very satisfying, and we get to test many parts of it.
Overall this is an amazing place to work for anyone who wants a secondary job, not a main one."
The payment is great and the flexible…
The payment is great and the flexible time is also a plus, the down side is that there aren't a lot of projects for spanish speakers.
Love working with Dataannotation!
The guidance with each task and the section of workers' input for each task is a game changer which helps all the users to get familiar to the task needs really well. I love working with Dataannotation!
Everything's been as expected
Everything's been as expected. Paid on time, paid to read instructions, lots of options for type of work/type of projects.
The job has been a life saver
I have been a SAHM since 2011, when I had my first son. After COVID, we were on the struggle bus. I got online searching for jobs I could fit into our schedule because I homeschool, and at the time, my husband worked two jobs. Data Annotation came up, I applied, and I got hired. And honest to goodness, this job has been a lifesaver for us. My husband ended up having health issues a few months after I got on and had to quit his second job, so everything worked out perfectly. I love love love that I can make my own schedule and choose my hours. I can work as few or as many hours a week as I want. We homeschool, so this job allows us to take field trips whenever we want, we can take spur-of-the-moment vacations because I don’t have to worry about asking for time off, and I can take my job with me. The flexibility is amazing. The projects are fun, and the pay is good. The ONLY downside to this job is that there is no direct feedback. That can be a little stressful, but otherwise, I just do my best, make sure I am reading instructions, and go with the flow. I’ve been with Data Annotation since March of 2024, and in that timeframe, there have only been two one-week-long periods when there were no projects available. Otherwise, I've been able to work as much as I want to. Overall, I have nothing but good things to say. This job has truly been a lifesaver for us, and I could not be more grateful for the opportunity to work for them.
It is good job but there are few tasks
It is good job but there are few tasks, I would like to have more work to do. Pay on time through PayPal.
Great!
First of all, the best thing about working from home is the environment. I'm a bit proud that I'm using my language skills to provide more and more available data, which contributes a little bit to the development of AI:). My wages aren't pushed back and I'm getting paid accurately on time. I'm working fairly well. Great!
The most appealing thing about this…
The most appealing thing about this company is that I can conveniently utilize my talents and earn as much as I want. Also, the projects are updated frequently. I'm happy to be working for this company.
Great learning experience
I've learned so much while working for this company. Tasks are interesting and challenging. There's plenty of time for every task, so you can focus on quality over quantity. Payments are always on time.
Unicorn Job
Truly a unicorn job! The work is plenty, interesting, and engaging. This works great as part-time work for stay-at-home parents!
It is a pleasure to work with them.
It's a great experience

This company is great to work for
This company is great to work for, and I enjoy the non-monotonous nature of the job. The tasks are straight-forward and the compensation is good.
Fair wages for working from home
Fair wages for working from home, flexible hours, only wish there was always work on the page.
Pretty good
I work at DA from Latin America. I'm being honest: everything is really quite good. Unlike almost all other platforms that offer these kinds of jobs, they pay considerably well and, above all, RESPECT YOUR TIME. The policy prioritizes quality submissions over work done haphazardly. Additionally, they usually pay for qualifications, something other platforms do not. The only downside is that workers from non English-speaking countries have much less work, since we are assigned almost exclusively to tasks in our language despite being bilingual and our English being comparable to a native's. On the other hand, I have to say that projects in recent times have become more boring, tedious, and less stimulating. But the occupational hazards of the job, I guess. I really recommend the platform, far above its competitors.
Great company
Great company. I've only had positive experiences with DataAnnotation, and the pay is excellent. Give them a shot!
Great company
Great company, fair payment and a very nice experience.
Wonderful Flexibility
I love working my own hours. Data Annotation gives me the freedom to do just that.
A great place to work
I love the flexibility of this job. For the first couple years of doing it, I traveled extensively throughout the US and was able to work from anywhere with no issues. Since the work is mostly, usually paid per hour per task, you can work as little or as much as you'd like. Pay is always on time and I've never had an issue. Some work can get tedious, but I have always had a wide variety of tasks with different end goals that has kept me engaged and interested. They take your previous life and work experience into consideration when offering tasks to you, and pay accordingly which is a huge plus. There are complaints about never receiving feedback, which is only partially true. You absolutely are expected to read, follow and understand instructions, and won't receive feedback like you would at a standard job (continued placement on projects as well as offers on others IS the feedback), but there have been times when I've received helpful feedback when I misunderstood instructions, or needed a nudge in a different direction. I've had to contact their support a few times and the response was quick and friendly, same with all the contact I've had with admins in any of the Slack channels. It's been a great experience for me.
Easy work
Easy work, you just need to read the instructions carefully, only bad thing is that there are not that many projects, but like a sidejob is perfect
