Broken checkout system and non-existent support

I chose this service expecting a functional product, but the past week has been a series of technical failures and complete silence from their team.

My intention was to purchase the Ryzen-FFM Expert server. Upon reaching the checkout screen I realized there was no order button available to finalize the purchase. Assuming this might be a temporary glitch with my specific payment method, I deposited the nessesary funds directly into my account balance instead. Even after the balance was updated the purchase screen remained broken. I am now in a position where my money is stuck in my account with no way to actually spend it on the service I need.

The lack of communication is the most frustrating part of this experience. I opened an initial support ticket and waited two days with no response. I followed up with a second ticket and a direct email, yet after an entire week of waiting I have heard absolutely nothing. It is unacceptable for a service provider to remain completely silent for this long, especially when a customers funds are involved.

Additionally, the billing interface is clearly flawed. While the system successfully charged my card and updated my balance, it failed to generate a proper invoice for the transaction.

This is easily the worst experience I have had with a hosting provider. I would also rate it lower than one star if I could. Having my money held while being ignored by support for a week is unprofessional and feels deceptive. I would strongly advise others to stay away from this service until they fix their website and start actually responding to their customers.

Locked DATA + Accusing + Random downtimes

I’ve spent the last 3 months with Dashserv, and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. If I could rate them lower than one star, I absolutely would.

One of the major issues I’ve faced is frequent, prolonged downtime on their main page, sometimes lasting over 6 hours. While occasional downtime is expected, the duration and frequency of these outages were completely unacceptable. Even worse, there was absolutely no communication from their support team during these periods. The lack of any response or acknowledgment made the situation feel even more frustrating.

But the real problem came when they locked my server for "traffic overusage" without providing any evidence to support the claim of us using exactly 70tb until requested a refund. They said we used over 40 tb during this time and got up to 70tb, which seemed wildly inaccurate. I submitted a ticket to resolve the issue, and while they temporarily unlocked the server, things got much worse.

While we were in the middle of a backup, Dashserv stopped it abruptly, locking our server again without any explanation. They claimed the excessive traffic usage was the cause, but they couldn’t provide any proof of the 70TB usage until we wanted a refund only provided 40tb. It felt like they were just making excuses to cut us off from their service.

Eventually, they said it was due to a DDoS attack on our server, but it still felt like an after-the-fact explanation. They did contact their DDoS protection team, who apologized for the attack, but at that point, the damage was done, and they hadn’t taken adequate steps to protect us beforehand.

Overall, Dashserv’s service has been unreliable, their support team has been unresponsive, and the lack of proper communication and proactive protections left us scrambling. I cannot recommend Dashserv to anyone looking for a dependable hosting provider. If you do choose them, proceed with extreme caution.

To make matters worse, I was muted on their Discord server for bringing up these concerns in a professional manner. Instead of addressing the issue or offering help, they chose to silence me entirely. This lack of transparency and customer care is a massive red flag.

After note: I talked to the owner (Realtox on DC) He seemed like a good person, offered a refund for those unused days, thank you for trying to resolve.

Hi,

We’re sorry to hear that you’re unhappy, but we need to correct several inaccuracies in your review.

Your claim of frequent and prolonged downtime, including outages lasting over six hours, is not accurate. While all services may occasionally experience brief interruptions, there were no major outages during the period in question. If you had reported any such issues through support, we would have been happy to review them with you.

Regarding the traffic overuse: yes, your server was locked after exceeding your plan’s traffic limits. We provided multiple screenshots from different monitoring tools and firewalls that clearly showed usage exceeding 70TB. Despite this, you continued to claim we had no proof, which is simply false. Yes, we temporarily unlocked the server to allow you to complete backups. However, during that period, your bandwidth surged again to unsustainable levels. As a result, the server was locked a second time, in line with our policies and the terms of your plan.

Regarding the Discord issue: you were not muted for raising concerns professionally. You were muted after continuing to escalate the issue publicly, despite us actively discussing and working on it through your support ticket. We specifically asked you not to take the matter to social media while it was being addressed. Our community channels are intended for support and discussion, not for organizing public complaints during active resolution.

We always strive to be transparent, fair, and responsive. It’s disappointing to see the situation misrepresented, especially after the time we spent reviewing logs, sharing data, and keeping you informed.

Hi, can you send us a mail to info@dashserv.io with the ticket id? We would take a look for this case.

We had the web spaces with an external provider until August 1st, 2024, but there were a few problems here. Due to the problems we have decided to move all customers to us.

Very thoughtful service

Very thoughtful service. My vps was deleted caused by forgotten of paying invoice, but they help me restore the valuable data. What's more, their vps plans are unbeatable and the panel is quite easy to use. I could not deny to be a loyal customer.

They change datacenter every 6 month

They change datacenter every 6 month, and they are asking you every time to change all your public ip addresses with new one. The downtime of the migration is huge. On the last change for 4 days my dedicated dint worked, due to network issues and hardare issues on the new datacenter. If you have critical applications, i dont recommend dashserv for your business.
