Do not stand behind their product…

Purchase door window rebuild kit for 1971 Plymouth Duster. None of the parts fit. Dante refused to accept a return . I sent pics and video . He told me to make it work. There has never been an issue. He implied I didn't know what I was doing. Tried to convince me to use parts that were not correct for my car. Eventually I got partial refund of my cost. Not the Piont. I want them to acknowledge there parts are incorrect for that year of car. I posted pics on social media. Many people have had same experience with the kit.

If you get a defective part from them…

If you get a defective part from them they don't want to refund you , I ordered a fan shroud which was sent to me by classic industries, it was damaged so I returned it in the same box and same packaging it was sent to me in , I expect a full refund It's not my fault it was broken during shipping, plus I paid shipping to ship it back to Dante's..

Reply from Dante's Mopar Parts

Customer never contacted us saying the part was damaged upon delivery, only that he wanted to return the part which we was not a problem. When we received the part it was not packed properly and thus got damaged in transit back to us.

Mopar Jewelry

Dante’s is dedicated to the Mopar fan. Their Web Site even has a gallery section for customers to showcase their restored classics. Dante’s doesn’t just cater to the more popular body sizes (A, B, and E). He also has some large framed, “C” sized Mopar parts available. With one wheel in luxury and the other in the performance class, my 1968 Sport Fury and Polara 500 are still largely ignored, but some heads are turning. Dante’s is 100% reproduction (repro). And, like most suppliers, they don’t have everything. However, the item they did have inspired me to buy other items as well. That is, items I didn’t necessarily need, but the price was reasonable enough to justify having some shiny new pieces of Mopar jewelry. The need/want ratio was, glovebox latch/side markers. My glovebox door’s been pathetically hanging in the open position forever. The tape I used as a temp fix, till I found a new part, has only succeeded in leaving adhesive residue. This will require plenty of rubbing alcohol and elbow grease to remove. So, thank you Dante’s for having this part, so I didn’t have to resort to used or NOS (New Old Stock). Nothing wrong with NOS as these are parts carefully collected and preserved in their original packaging, by uber-dedicated parts people. However, like most collectors, they’re quite aware of the free market, supply and demand, and price accordingly. It’s all good under the hood. However, when someone commits to reproduce and recapture the magic of days past, I’ll give them first choice every time. After ordering the latch[s] (I bought a spare as well), I went on to get repro, front (yellow) and rear (Red) side marker lights. Again, just a want, but the plastic on the lens can get a little cloudy with age. Combined with the new Led bulb designs it will be shiny jewelry indeed.
