Tour guide no show to pick me up at the airport!

No show to pick me up at the airport.i already given my flight details for 6am arrival at Ethiopia but no one pick me up. I called few times no answer. There is other tour agency around kind enough to help me call too but no reply. This is Erhiopia and I am a female solo traveller. This is damgerous for me in Africa to be strained in airport like rhis!!! After the tour guide texted that he arrived at airport 8.30am. My flight arrived at 6pm amd u only arrived at 8.30am?

Following my original review regarding the confirmed airport pickup on 25 February (flight arrival 6:00 AM, message sent at approximately 7:00 AM after clearing immigration), the operator contacted me repeatedly via WhatsApp.
Instead of addressing the inconvenience caused by the no-show, he focused on questioning my decision to post a negative review because no payment was made. He repeatedly emphasized that he “did not take any money,” as though this nullifies the experience of being left unattended at the airport despite a confirmed arrangement.
During the exchange, he searched for my company information online, took screenshots, and sent them to me. I found this behavior inappropriate and unprofessional.
At no point did he ask whether I reached my hotel safely or offer meaningful assistance after the incident.
Given the continued messages following my review, I have formally submitted a complaint to the relevant tourism authorities and have requested that all further contact cease.
I am sharing this update so other travellers can make an informed decision.

Best experience

Our trip to omo valley was very enjoyable and memorable one. We had a pleasant journey. Our stay was very comfortable. Our tour manager Mr.Mickey was very supportive and friendly. He took great care of each and every thing. He was with us throughout the trip and guided us. Even though we missed our flight due to the flood and road block on Feb 12 th, Danakil Depression Tourstook great effort to keep us safe and comfortable. Thank you so much.

We had a nice experience with Danakil Depression Tours

We had a nice experience with Danakil Depression Tours group during our danakil and omo valley
trip.We felt so comfortable although being so far from
home.Everything worked out in time and perfectly.Tour manager
Mr.Mickey did a great job managing everything efficiently.Sometimes
he had taken the role of a guide also.He is a very humble and
responsible person.For 5 days all the group members were like a
family.Transportation facilities arranged by fortune group was very
comfortable.Food and accomodation was highly appreciable.Guides in the
trip had described everything well.I wil definitely recommend Danakil Depression Tours
group to others and will prefer Mickey group my next trip also.Thanks
to the whole fortune group for making this trip memorable

excellent service

Mickey and Solomon they are kind, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They did their very best to make this trip as enjoyable as possible, I had a great time and wonderful experience exploring northern part of Addis. Nice road trip and meeting friendly people. I felt totally safe, didn't have any security issues at all. Many thanks to Mickey and Solomon from Danakil Depression Tours for such a wonderful trip. I will definitely book with this tour copmany Ethiopia tour again.
