Dan.com support is horrible. Godaddy has stated that they are shutting Dan.com down for good. Switch to Afternic for peace of mind.
Update: Godaddy has confirmed that Dan.com is shutting down. The sunset period is being announced this year, within a month or two.
Dan.com isn't functioning the way it used to, development stopped months ago, and software has already been transferred to Afternic.

We can't cancel the transaction.
My transfer was not completed for 5 days. I wanted to cancel. They said they could never do that. Refunds are not transparently stated. Please consider that you can never cancel before you make a transaction.

Why are they trying to sell MY domains I own?

So dan.com thinks it is ok, if "we the people," offered selling . . . say their personal owner(s) houses, or lands, or cars, or boats online, but did NOT offer any owner(s) anything upon the "SALE" of the items mentioned above!
That sounds exactly like what they are doing in their totally quazi-sales-offers of "domain names" that BELONG to everyone, and anyone else besides . . . dan.com!
SO. . . when anything belongs to anyone else, than NO ONE, anywhere, at any time, has ANY LAWFUL, nor LEGAL Right to offer to sell, and collect anything for any "offer to sell," without the ORIGINAL OWNER'S, in writing, authorization to do so!
And actual "owner" should also get a large percentage of any sale, before any transactions can be lawfully finished!
That LAWFUL FACT: is NOT only in NATIONAL but also in INTERNATIONAL LAW!
And if any domain "authority" says any different, "while any owner still owns said domain,". . . they have enjoined the "criminal conspiracy," since said "registrar" does NOT lawfully own any domain name "TOTALLY" to even any OFFER of said domain sale!
And it will be a "Trial by 24 Juniors" in an national court, and than by an international court!

Well now, I type in MY domain name hosted at Porkbun, and has been at that registrar for 2 years, and paid for till 5 / 2026!
So, why is it being OFFERED at dan.com?
And way are they trying to sell it for . . .USD $395
And that is NOT the ONLY 1 that they have for 'sale" that 100% belongs to me, that they are trying to "sale" and the other domain I OWN is attempting to be sold at dan.com states (as in copied and pasted,)

Horrible platform
Horrible platform, after 11 months on this platform i got my first sale on 23rd this month, they ask me to push the domain and that what i did but after 48h surprised by an email saying they cancel the transaction and close my account. After hard work finding a buyer for my domain name they wasted me a sale of 375$. I do not recommend this platform to anyone.

I'm confused....
My domain was originally with Go Daddy, and was then bought and parked by Dan.com... who are owned by Go Daddy.
Which means that it's just a round-about way of Go Daddy holding on to a domain that, really should have been given the chance for ALL people and companies to buy, not just Go Daddy, I mean Dan.com (my mistake!)

While some domain extensions can differ in this process, this includes being notified via email of the failed billing, the expiration, as well as opportunities to renew, recover the domain, or even bid on it at an expired domain auction. have a very bad experience with dan.com I I tried them to sell one domain with the and they were not honest at all they say it going to take sometimes but they are waiting for the to do it to the buyer to accept the code they didn't told me that and they are slow and there's nothing nothing automatically with them everything then manually I don't know why they are taking $100 commission from selling a 500 dollar domain $100 of commission for what they didn't do nothing the only thing they did is they just take the code to the to the to the new buyer and if the buyer took 5 months to reply they will tell you how it takes in 5 months to the and they are not honest at all it's so very bad experience I don't know how they have this old reviews they are awful honestly
