Can't recommend Damp and Rot services enough. From first contact with Barbara to Kevin coming out for assessment and then treatment for rising damp in the living room wall, was all done quickly and smoothly. Kevin gave a detailed assessment and talked me through step by step how the treatment process works. Barbara was so friendly and in frequent communication along the way. Tradesmen were fantastic too! Mindful and respectful that there were young children in the house when carrying out the work. Thanks again!

Great service from start to finish from Dampness &Rot. Barbara's communication at each stage was excellent keeping us fully informed about the process and when the work would be completed.
Kevin the surveyor was so calm and reassuring when he came out to do the initial inspection and again when the detailed survey was carried out. Kevin answered all our questions and explained everything thoroughly. When the work was being done we got regular updates from both Barbara and Kevin.
The full team were so professional and helpful.
We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

Great Service
Great experience with Dampness & Rot (Glasgow) Ltd. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard, and everything felt very well handled from start to finish.
Kevin was clearly incredibly knowledgeable and very reassuring - he took the time to explain things clearly and made the whole process feel straightforward. Barbara was also excellent to deal with, always responsive, patient and helpful with organising everything.

An excellent and professional service
There is nothing worse when you discover dry rot in your property. Following a survey by one of their specialists, the company provided a comprehensive report on the extent of the damage and the work required to rectify. The work was carried out in an efficient and tidy manner and they provided regular updates on progress. Excellent workmanship and backed up by a 10 year guarantee. I would have no hesitation recommending the company.

I felt confident from my first contact with Barbara that I was in safe hands. She was friendly yet professional and arranged for Kevin to visit .He was able to diagnose areas of rising damp in one room and some damp due to condensation in another. The greater expertise was required for the rising damp and Kevin explained the remedial work necessary but calmed my fears . What was particularly refreshing was there was no hard sell. When the team came to complete the job they were friendly , helpful and efficient. Kevin was very informative and eager to share what was being done and why.
No one wants to deal with damp but D and R made it as painless as possible . Thank you Barbara,Kevin and the team.

We recently received an excellent service from Dampness and Rot Glasgow. The surveyor came quickly, was very knowledgeable and always willing to answer questions no matter how many. The company were flexible with dates and provided a very reasonable and transparent quote. Investigations conducted were thorough, explanations of the problems and solutions were clear amd understandable as well from a lay person's perspective. The surveyor was also very reassuring which was welcome in light of what felt like a stressful situation to be in with regards to the wet rot and woodworm infestation in our subfloor wall plate and joists. We would happily recommend this company to other people.

Great company! We recently purchased a home which they had treated for woodworm. It was so easy and straightforward to contact them and get the guarantee transferred over. They were so friendly, professional and helpful, explaining everything to us in a way that was easy to understand. They're reasonably priced as well! Really recommend!

Woodworm treatment
We recently discovered woodworm in our attic flooring and had Kevin come out to assess and treat the space. Kevin came out quickly after our initial call and took the time to explain the treatment process and answer questions we had. We had the attic flooring removed and treated the following week. Excellent service from this company. I had worries i might have damp or mould but Kevin came out and assessed it was more a stale bathroom smell and put my mind at ease. I would class this company highy trustworthy and would recomend them highly. Also great communication from Barbarra in arranging the appointment and keeping me informed off the arr ival time on the day. Highly recomended.

Experience and knowledge, problem fixed!
Kevin visited our building in Glasgow city centre to inspect the damp that was rising on the inside wall of our office. He quickly identified that it flaking and discoloured paint was due to damp coming through the wall. On closer inspection he noticed an issue on the outside roof of the building that was causing the problem. They quoted us a price and booked the work to be done and since then we haven't noticed any issues. We certainly feel more confident now that an expert has dealth with it for us. Highly recommend, very professional.
