Knowingly shipped wrong product without checking with me
I have ordered a 45L plastic parasol foot (for water or sand). I specifically needed a heavy enough base to hold the 3m parasol.
Today, I received a parasol holder that's smaller and doesn't look like the one in the image.
When I called them, the exact reaction was: "Oh, the delivery guy didn't call you to say he's bringing a different one? He should have."
When I asked why I am receiving a product I didn't order, the response was: "Well, the other product wasn't in stock. We can't send you a product that we don't have in stock, can we?"
After that point, in frustration, I said they could have at least informed me and given me the choice to say no to a product I didn't want.
The man first told me to calm down and that I could just keep the product and they'd refund me, because return shipping is more expensive than it's worth.
But then he immediately changed his mind and told me they wanted the product back after all and he'd send me a return label.
So now I'm stuck having to drag a parasol foot I never ordered or had the chance to refuse to a GLS pickup point.
Huge disappointment and the last time I shop here.
