Parcel is lost
My parcel arrived in Brisbane on 01/07. It is now 13/07 and I haven't received the parcel. I contacted customer services and was told they were 'investigating' it. I needed the parcel for an event and had to go and spend more money as they have obviously lost the parcel but haven't been able to communicate that to me.
Parcel held hostage over an unexplained "clearance fee"
My parcel has sat at customs since 3 July while DAI Post demands a SGD 75.71 "formal clearance fee" on top of GST. When I asked them to itemise this fee and provide the Singapore Customs permit reference, I got no proper breakdown — and Singapore Customs itself states it charges no clearance fee to release parcels, so this is DAI Post's own charge presented as a customs requirement. Replies have been slow, often days apart, while my parcel is effectively held hostage until I pay. I have no problem paying legitimate GST, but a vague, undocumented handling fee combined with sluggish communication is not acceptable. Would not recommend.
This company..no delivery, no updates.
This company... no updates for a week. My package has been in country with them for over a week. Wow, premier service 🙄
Left 25 minutes from destination for collection
I had a parcel that was being delivered to a business address in Camberwell. I received an email that they tried to deliver during business hours and could not access the building, what a lie, the business is always open during business hours Monday to Saturday. Then they left the parcel in Nunawading, about 25 minutes from the destination address.
When I contacted customer service and emailed with Vincent Cabahug asking about the parcel, i was told the parcel is at Nunawading for you to collect, we now consider the case closed. They will not re attempt or collect the parcel and bring it to Camberwell, I now just had to go get it.
The email customer service was useless and the delivery service pointless and I had to arrange to get to Nunawading to collect the parcel. I hope never to have to use this delivery service again.
Worst service ever and they overcharge
Worst service ever and they overcharge. Scammers
Personal service ensuring peace of mind
I had an important delivery and was concerned it would be left in a safe place. I contacted the company’s Consumer Care Representative, Scott Jala, who promptly contacted me to assure me my concerns had been noted. Within hours the parcel arrived safely and Scott followed up by saying he’s checked and was glad to see the delivery was safely received. I was grateful for his attentive concern and follow up.
Less than ZERO Rating

Title: Ignored instructions and dumped my parcel on a public floor — resulted in theft.Review: If I could give zero stars, I would. I use an Australia Post Parcel Collect address specifically to ensure my deliveries are kept secure.
Before my package from the US was delivered. First, they got my address wrong, essentially part of the address was missing, so my parcel was not delivered. I contacted them asking why - they did not contact me. I contacted this courier with explicit instructions that the delivery must be physically handed to the post office staff so it could be safely held for my collection, after I present my identification.
Instead, the driver and the company completely ignored my instructions and basic common sense. Rather than handing it over to the staff members inside, they just dumped the box on the floor in a highly trafficked, public lobby outside the post office.I have a photo to attach, which this delivery company sent to me as proof of delivery no less, they literally just left it sitting on the floor for anyone to take. But this review site does not allow photo uploads. Unsurprisingly, because it was abandoned in a public access area, my parcel was stolen. I have sent them emails reporting this, but I have not received an email reply, just being ignored.
This is gross incompetence and completely unacceptable service. Do not trust this company with anything valuable—even if you give them clear instructions, their drivers will not follow them.
Misleading and Opaque Charges from Daipost
I am writing this review to warn potential customers about the misleading and opaque billing practices at Daipost. My experience with shipment WMG00000872725 has been a frustrating ordeal, stalling from June 12, 2026, to the current date, July 6, 2026, with no resolution.1
On June 12, Daipost initially contacted me claiming my parcel was held for 'applicable GST' amounting to SGD$144.21. It was only after I questioned the total that they admitted the amount included a 'Formal Clearance Fee'—a disclosure that was completely absent from their initial demand. When challenged, they claimed these fees are government-mandated, yet they have failed to provide any pricing logic, official policy documentation, or valid proof that these are customs charges rather than their own internal broker fees.1
For context, I have paid the standard 9% GST on multiple similar items from the same region in recent weeks without incurring these 'formal clearance' costs, making Daipost’s sudden imposition of this fee highly suspicious. As of July 6, nearly a month later, my delivery remains on hold because Daipost has yet to provide the requested invoice or documentation to back up their claims.
I find it deeply unethical to misrepresent carrier brokerage fees as government-mandated charges to customers. I strongly advise others to be aware of these hidden costs and the lack of transparency in Daipost’s communication.
Avoid
My parcel was meant to arrive today but no one rang the door bell. I have been home all day and no one attempted delivery. It has now been delivered to a location not near my home and over two suburbs away. I've checked the hubbed map and several other locations within one kilometre could have been selected and were actually on the way to this location if the driver was near my home.
Unproffesional delivery drivers
Knocked my letterbox over after delivering package. Refused responsibility by showing a photo of it up right when delivered. Of course it was up right when you arrived. It was on the way out it got knocked over. Unproffesional. I didnt want money or anything other than acknowledgement of wrong doing and a sorry. Got neither.
Disposed of my shipment as they failed…
Disposed of my shipment as they failed to deliver! When asked why or how to complain - said contact shipper, they take no responsibility.
I found the courier company to be very…
I found the courier company to be very communicative with emails of my parcel arriving. I sent a comment to leave safely within my gate if I was not home which they did. And was sent a follow up email after delivery. I had no problems receiving my parcel.
Excellent customer service
Echoing the many complaints about packages being stuck and delays in delivery timing, I would still like to highlight the exceptional service provided by DAIPost’s customer service team, particularly Lerry Barcoma and Erika Dapar.
Erika was helpful and professional in assisting with my concerns, and I appreciate her support throughout the process. I would especially like to commend Lerry, who was exceptionally patient, responsive, and consistent in following up with me. He attended to my queries promptly and assisted with resolving the outstanding shipping charges, which made a frustrating situation much more manageable.
Thank you to both Erika and Lerry for their assistance.
Worst delivery experience EVER
Worst delivery experience I have ever had and next worst is not even close.
I was told they could not deliver to my PO Box Plus, which accepts external delivery companies (have had Fedex and DHL deliver there in the past with no issue). With no updates for weeks after requesting a redirection to my home address, I called and was told they couldn't deliver to my home either...with no explanation as to why that is the case. Now I have to go to the warehouse in Dandenong South to pick up my package, which is over an hour from my home. What service am I actually paying for here...
I have already contacted my supplier and requested they never use DAI Post again, I advise everyone else to do the same.
Parcel was stuck in transit for close…
Parcel was stuck in transit for close to a month. When they eventually reached out for me to pay 'clearance fees' I made payment immediately and it has been radio silence ever since.
Parcel damaged, no communication
Have a package that arrived in Australia 2 weeks ago and hasn't moved since. After 4 phone calls and 2 emails they finally told me the package was damaged and is now under investigation, and that I would hear from them within 5 business days. Of course, 5 business days later, I haven't heard anything...
Nightmare, what a crap company
This is my first experience with DAI…
This is my first experience with DAI Post, and unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the service.
My parcel was sent directly to a collection point, and it appears that no delivery attempt was made, as I was home all day. In addition, I did not receive any email, SMS, or other notification advising me that the parcel was available for collection. I only discovered its status myself by checking the tracking information.
Based on this experience, I will be providing feedback to the sender and recommending that they consider alternative delivery providers in the future.
Lost parcel
I had a package arrive from the UK. Quickly cleared customs and had a set delivery time of 2-4 days after. Nearly two weeks later, the package hadn't moved. After a week of chatting with customer service they eventually admitted to having lost the parcel.
They just don't care
My parcel has been sitting in Brisbane since 18 June. The delivery due date is 25-29 June. I have sent emails asking why it takes so long to be delivered when it's only two hours from me. Only response is that I will be contacted in one business day and how I can track my parcel and contact them online. And surprise surprise, no one contacted me. So I called. I was on the phone for 10 minutes because that was how long it apparently took them to find my parcel. When I eventually got to tell him that I knew where it was and that I wanted to know why the wait, I was told it was because I didn't pay express postage and they don't work on the weekends. Then as I am talking he starts talking over the top of me and hangs up.
Bot took too long to resolve...
When they emailed to say they couldn't deliver it, I replied saying it was fine and I'd pick it up from a depot\collection point. It took the bot (must have been a bot - any real person would have resolved it at this point) 18 days to provide a pickup address.
