Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 204 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the products to be of poor quality, with cheap materials, uneven stitching, and ill-fitting designs that did not match the website's images. Reviewers also reported significant issues with sizing, noting that items were often completely off from standard UK sizes and varied even within the same order. The refund process was a major point of frustration, with many customers struggling to receive their money back despite returning items, often having to dispute charges through their banks. Additionally, customers frequently experienced problems with their orders, including long delivery times, items arriving after events, or not receiving their orders at all. The return policy was also a source of dissatisfaction, as customers were often required to send items back to China at their own expense, which could be costly, and were sometimes only offered partial refunds or store credit. Some people also felt that the company's practices regarding 'made to order' claims and the use of pictures from other brands were unclear or inconsistent with expectations.

AWFUL

Do not order from this company! They use Evri who are utterly useless with zero customer care. This makes achieving a refund for items not delivered virtually impossible. Their customer care emails are slow, unhelpful and downright rude.
They are currently refusing to refund £50 for a dress i never received, despite acknowledging it was not delivered. Their current position is that they will refund 75% only when the dress is received back to their warehouse. Evri stating they returned it. Complete waste of time and money. AVOID.

False advertising

False advertising, products arrive that don’t look anything like what is being advertised, over 4 weeks for delivery. When you email to ask for a refund they tell you that they have sent you what you ordered despite it being completely different and then after this they just ignore you and refuse to give you a refund.

PLEASE do not order from here, if you do and would like to get your hard earned money back, set up a claim back with your bank to get your money back which is what I am currently doing, as you will get absolutely nowhere with this terrible “company”.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I ordered 4 dresses from here, the quality of the items were so poor and did not look like as they were shown on the website. It costed me £33.50 to post the items back to China which I provided proof of on 3rd September 2025 and have still not received my refund. I have chased for updates but they have gone radio silent..

1 Star – Worst Shopping Experience Ever – A Total Scam

I honestly wish I had never ordered from Dahlia and Grace. I thought I was buying from a UK boutique, but it turns out everything ships from China. The quality was nothing like what’s shown online.

I ordered six dresses for an event, spending £202, only to discover they all had to be returned to China at my own expense. I paid over £30 just for return shipping through Royal Mail, and despite returning everything correctly on 11 August with a full returns form, I still haven’t had my refund — over two months later.

I’ve sent multiple emails, including on 11 and 13 October, and not one person has replied. I was promised a response within 48 hours — that never happened. I’ve now had to initiate a chargeback through my bank just to try to get my own money back.

The service is shocking, the communication is nonexistent, and the company feels completely untrustworthy. They’re happy to take your money but disappear the moment you try to return something.

Please avoid this company at all costs. What looks like a charming online boutique is just another drop-shipped operation sending cheap items from China and making returns as difficult as possible. Absolutely disgraceful.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS.
Worst customer service I have ever experienced, they outright ignore you. The sizing is completely wrong, a size L is a UK 10. Multiple delivery delays, the quality is extremely poor compared to advertised.
Can not warn you off enough

Read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering, not after – learn from my mistakes!

So I didn’t realise I was ordering from China — I thought Dahlia & Grace sounded like a cute little British boutique, not a far-off mystery warehouse. I ordered two dresses because I couldn’t decide on the colour. Turns out I didn’t need to decide, because neither looked like the picture and the top half would have barely covered a nipple on a Barbie doll.

When I asked for a refund, they kindly offered me “a sustainable solution” — keep both disasters and get 20% back. Apparently, sustainability now means hoarding clothes you’ll never wear while your dignity dissolves.

I said no, sent them back (paid over £10 to ship), and now the parcel’s living its best life stuck at customs somewhere. Nearly two months later, I’ve got no dresses, no refund, and a valuable life lesson: always check Trustpilot before you hit ‘buy now’.

If you want a cute dress, shop local. If you want a slow-burn comedy full of regret and tracking numbers, Dahlia & Grace has you covered — unlike their dresses.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.
Dress was completely different to what was ordered, cheap fabric and terribly made.
You cannot get a full refund on ‘sale’ items, yet strangely enough, everything is on ‘sale’.
Various emails with offers of store credit or partial (30%) refund.
Posting the item back to china would have cost more….
I was quoted 7-14 days for the partial refund, it’s now been 29 days.
Given up on trying to email them, will make sure everyone I know never orders from here - scam artists.

Awful, awful, awful!!!!!

I ordered 3 dresses for a wedding. They finally were delivered over 6 weeks later. The wedding had passed by then.
I thought it was weird as no returns label was sent with the items.
I tried to contact customer services and didnt get a response.

A total scam

A total scam. Dress doesn't look at all like in picture. Quality - shit, Colour - doesn't match not even if you're drunk and can't remember your name or what you've ordered.
They will not accept any returns, avoid answering to emails and only give you 30-50% money back as in store credit.
My advice - TOTALLY AVOID THEM as the review DON'T LIE -
DON'T MAKE THE MISTAKE ME AND OTHERS DID

Should of done my research first

The dress I received took 2 + weeks to arrive.
It was shipped from China and when it arrived I was confused. The photos look like the dress is a silk material but what arrived was a cheap poly cotton. The colour advertised was a light yellow the dress received was an orange/yellow colour. To their defence the material isn’t listed on the website but from looks it definitely doesn’t appear to be the same. I am about to try and get the dress returned so I can get my $80 + dollars back. The fit of the dress was awful and the quality looks like it should have been sold on Shein. Don’t waste your money.

What a waste of money!!

What a waste of money!!

I ordered the Mabel Blossom Drama Dress (a nice vibrant, flattering dress), but instead I received someones dusty old curtains.
The editing on this MFing website is absolutely unbelievable. False advertising at its best.

I was offered a refund if I returned the dress to China, (after going all Consumer Rights Act 2015 on them), but no doubt these scum bags will lie and say they never received the dress and then I’ll be out of pocket for the dress, and postage!

I have also come to the conclusion that Dahlia is most likely a made up woman, and the dresses are no doubt made in a Chinese sweat shop.

The good news is, with a bit of fake blood and some scissor work, my Halloween outfit is sorted - Silver linings and all that.
