Everything was as expected. There were some issues with prolonged delivery from the manufacturer of the goods (not the Dachbaustoffe's fault) but the customer support went all out and beyond of what is expected to give me accurate dates and feedback.
I will be a returning customer.
All in all, the goods I ordered were delivered relatively quickly, well packed and fully functional. But I wouldn't call the transaction problem-free.
On the plus side, the seller promptly responded to my emails. And they were able to add a few extra items to my order after it was already placed.
Unfortunately, the seller completely ignored my requests - I mentioned it in more than one email I sent them - to send all goods as a single package, or the fewest possible number of packages. They answered my order modification related questions but didn't comment at all about avoid partial deliveries. As a result, I had to pay quite a few extra euros to my freight forwarder (Luxembourg Post / TV Logistik), who charges per package received.
The seller also refused to answer technical related questions (I wanted to know which model of SBS - hose failure device - would be suitable for my case), instead they told me they are getting too many technical questions and I should instead contact the respective manufacturers with my queries. So, this rather specialized shop is too busy to advise its customers on the products it's selling. I would understand this attitude from a shop that sells all kinds of different tools and supplies - there you simple can't know everything about every item you are selling (Amazon is an extreme example of this, you can't expect any technical customer support there, they can just return/refund/replace things). But from a specialist shop I expect technical competence and knowledge of the products they are selling, as well as willingness to help customers to choose a suitable product. To make it clear once again: I was not asking some tech support questions, I was asking which item to buy from them.
