I love that it’s environmentally friendly and it can be used as both a free standing dishwasher & a regular dishwasher! I love that there are a range of colours to choose from. I chose the colour matte black and it looks great in my home. Daan Tech provided a great customer service! I would really recommend Bob the mini dishwasher!

Bob failure after 4 months use. Emailed about this on multiple occasions ( 1 response received box to return bob with no instructions) Had high hopes for bob dashed by the non existent terrible customer service no response after weeks..
Update: all good received new bob :) emails were not being received as replying to mail directly instead of ticket assistance button which wasn’t obvious

worst experience ever.
The worst experience ever.
Bought a malfunction dishwasher nearly 2 months ago.
It didn't work when it arrived.
The daan tech was impossible to get a hold of, and only responded in strange messages. Not very helpful.
The sent me an YouTubecideo an asked me to fixed the problem my self. The video wasn't helpful for my problem at all.
Two weeks later and approximately 10-20 mails later, the daan tech finally agreed to return the dishwasher.
I waited several days for them to pick it up, a mistake apparently-so they tried again. A week went by and somebody finally picked the dishwasher up.
Nearly 3 weeks went by and I heard nothing.
I asked about an update and the told me they lost the package.
It wasn't their fault but the delivery services mistake.
Well, I don't really care at this time.
I asked for my money back which they refused.
They want some more time to look for the package.
So don't ever buy anything from this firm. If the product doesn't work - you're screwed.

Best customer service, I've experienced in a long time. I had trouble with my local carrier PostNord, but Daan Tech customer service helped me all the way.

I did not get yet to use BOB yet but I do hope it will impress me.
Regarding the aquire, I must say I had some issues as the ordering system did not allow me to add the VAT no. of my company and I missed to observe that the order included also VAT amount even though I am not from France but from A EU member state. The service desk of DAAN Tech was nice and responsive, they added the VAT no on the final invoice but when it comes to that VAT, I was pointed to recover it by myself. I am disappointed from this perspective because if it was the other way around, we would have made a correction of the invoice and refund the VAT to the customer. I am saying this because it was DAAN Tech that should have adjust the ordering system to the European requirement and not to apply VAT when the customer is from EU and outside France. I noticed this I adaptability also in Belgium, to some vendors but instead the Germans are very accurate on this particular matter.
Overall, the service desk was nice and very responsive.

On 31 August 2022 I order and pay for a BOB dishwasher. On 1 September, I receive an email from the French postal service that they have been notified that a package label has been printed. Nothing happened since then.
Today, September 6, I write an email to Daan-tech custom service and ask when they will send my order. Got this answer:
Hello,
We received your email.
Our team will get back to you as soon as possible
Please, do not send several emails as we work with a ticketing system.
For any new order, delivery times are 3 working days.

If you have 3 days to get the delivery ready, why isn't it on its way? I'm writing here on trustpilot because you don't want me to write more emails (I have only written one). Perhaps you will respond to this request?

Very happy with the product, but the delivery... the provider left my product unattended in front of the door which is visible from the road. It is easy to install, everything is detailed is the little booklet. It washes very well, even greasy dishes like ramen.
Perfect in every way save that the wifi aspect is not yet able to connect to the online account - but that's not Bob's problem and presumably will be fixed at some stage.
Bob is doing a pretty good job - that is, if you use normal dishwasher tablets from your local supermarket and not their cassette. The cassette leaves the dishes as dirty as before the washing cycle.
What I really dislike is customer support and some false advertising the company does.
They say that Bob needs less water in shorter cycles, e.g. only 2.9L. That is utter nonsense. You ALWAYS have to fill in 3.8L. I messaged Daan Tech about this, thinking it must be a defect, and they told me yes, you always have to fill in 3.8L, but that 0.9L remain in the tank so that you have to fill in less for your next cycle. Why are you lying? That's not true. It needs the whole 3.8L for every type of cycle. False advertising.
I also dislike that Bob is completely useless and non responsive when the software stops working. You can't start your dishwasher without the goddamn menu. And if the software freezes (which happens pretty often), you have to restart your Bob.
Also: DO NOT CONNECT BOB TO YOUR WI-FI! I tried so and couldn't use Bob for a whole day, because for MONTHS Daan Tech is having server issues (you can read it on their website after logging in). Unfortunately I didn't check the bloody website before connecting my Bob to Wi-Fi in a desperate attempt to get rid of those sporadic software freezes.
Bob got stuck at "Connection not possible" and I couldn't get back to the menu because he froze again. I unplugged and replugged him and let me just say ... he starts searching for the Wi-Fi after EVERY start and if he doesn't find it (which he couldn't, cause Daan has some server issues and it's not a local network connection), he just stays in this "Searching for Wi-Fi ..." display FOR FU*** EVER. I unplugged him a hundred times over 24h. I was furious. 10, 15, 20, 30 mins passed, still the same display. Searching for Wi-Fi.
Then, like a miracle, he suddenly showed me the menu. I rushed to "Settings" to reset Bob (yes, you can only do this in the settings menu, so if your Bob's software gets stuck, good luck!) so that he stops searching for Wi-Fi.
Needless to say that until today Daan Tech hasn't replied to my eMail asking what I could do to make my dishwasher work again after it deathlooped itself in the "Searching for Wi-Fi" window. Thanks.
Overall: A good dishwasher, hefty price, bad software and even worse costumer support.
