BE AWARE of shady practices of Dunedin…

BE AWARE of shady practices of Dunedin Property Management.
Please know that in Scotland, the maximum legal rent increase is 12% but is will usually be lower than 12%.
Also, the legal notice period that Dunedin need to give you for a rent increase or other changes is 3 months.

This is also the case if your property is sold while you're a tenant in the property. They cannot force a new lease/contract on you. If they try, seek help with Shelter Scotland and complain to the Rent Service Scotland and the Tribunal as soon as possible (within max. 21 days).

Dunedin Property Management have tried to pressure me into agreeing with a new lease for a higher rent and a short notice period while they are not allowed to legally do this.
