I purchased 12 items online for delivery, totalling $311. After checking prices at the warehouse, I found Costco charging $4 to $8 more per online item than the in-store price. It's a scam!

Last November I bought a Laptop from Costco. I was travelling to India. I bought a recurring Costco membership. Upon return, in January, I tried to close the membership online but failed. I called and CS said: "Your membership is good to the end but there will be no recurring charge.
Then, last week $49.99 fee NOT for Costco but for Geek Squad (maybe hidden inside the Costco, I don't know.) I call Costco, talk to a fellow in Honduras for half an hour: I have closed the membership, you will not be charged again, but you must travel to the store to get a refund?" Huh?
The store is a 2-hour drive 70 miles (140km) one-way. That is just insane. So I contest the charge on my Sears/Citi CC. But Citi puts me back w/ Geek Squad who says: "We have closed your membership but the system says: $0 refund." Ok...it's now closed a 3rd time? And then I must travel for 5 hours and 140km to get my $49.99 back? No.
If Citi does not honor the chargeback, I am stuck. But, I will go to my local Small Claims Court and pay $150 and ask BOTH Costco + Geek Squad for $150 for costs + $49.99 for the improper charge + $280 for my time. (Note: No judge will give me "time," but if they do a no-show, the judge is likely to do that. I'll pay the $49.99 and dun Geek Squad for $479.99 and do a short YouTube video on the process as this really sucks.
I hope they wise up and just accept the chargeback.

Horrible! I bought a jacket for Christmas, it never arrived, I complained and they send me a link which is an app that requires paid subscription!!!! It is over a month and nothing, I asked for refund and they say no that I need to be patient !!!! I am so mad at this scam. Please do not buy Costco online.

We ordered an item from September, it is December 20 and still it hasn't arrived, they keep cancelling the order the same day they are supposed to deliver it. Customer service can't help you at all. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Reccomendation: Don't order online

It took me just on 10 days to finally get the mattress and numerous daily emails to achieve this. I am now chasing compensation - again numerous daily emails. Avoid this company at all costs and do not be fooled into thinking that Costco Warehouse is the same as Costco on line. They are NOT. Go elsewhere

Ordered a TV online and picked it up in the store. The supervisor didn’t check it off when I picked it up and it was marked not. Took money out of my account and then put it back in. The auditor Nick called a few days later and was rude and said he was taking the money out. No apologies, no excuses. Will never order online again and will cancel my membership

Can’t join online. Tried everything recommended. Tried emailing Costco no reply over the last 4 wks. Even tried calling and have experienced being put through to a phone that just rings. I have wasted hours trying to buy online using my membership. Sadly something is very wrong here and I am reconsidering renewing my membership. All that rubbish about looking after their staff and keeping them happy? I believe the staff are either too happy to bother with customer inquiries or are so stressed they cannot keep up with Costco customer service. There’s only one shop why bother with another Costco you are incapable of running one store?

Been expecting a delivery for almost 3 days now. We've had to work from home based on their communication 'to expect delivery' at specific times but got no show, no call for two days now. Unbelievable Costco online
Tried to purchase Dishwasher on Tuesday rang 6.08 pm .had call at 8.03 courtesy call saying we are now closed call back tomorrow Wednesday which we did rang again finding out Dishwasher gone up £80.00 .
Tried all day Wednesday all you get press 1 to call back which once they did eventually explain website down and no phone call pick up.they have lost a sale .

Twice I tried to purchase an online Apple product recently. First time it was stuck in processing for over a week. Then I received a cancellation notice when I checked online when I would be expecting delivery. Next time on another product the discount “at checkout” wasn’t giving the discount. Then the online discount disappeared a full day before the promotion was meant to be over. When I called customer service on the Monday they could only tell me the promotion was finished. Bought from John Lewis instead. Can’t be trusted to either honour purchases or process their own promotions. Waste of time. Go elsewhere

The delivery team arrived well before the scheduled delivery window, which forced me to cancel an important pre-scheduled meeting so I could be home.
Then, even though there were two delivery workers, only one person initially carried the large TV by himself. He ended up dropping one side of the box on my stairs. I am now concerned about possible damage to the TV.
Very disappointing experience. If two people are assigned to deliver a heavy item, both should be carrying it.
Get out of the online business
First and foremost the website itself is difficult to use..also COSTCO tends to show what you can get online and not what is available in store..I no longer waste my time with the delivery end of it and for what membership costs they should do a much better job but they dont
