Disgraceful company - Cushion Cover Store

Last May I bought 4 covers, 3 were fine but one too bright and gaudy. I contacted the company and Mark the manager agreed to either change it or give me a refund. I followed his instructions and also sent him a copy of the certificate of posting. He replied that he would replace the cushion cover. Since then I have had 12 emails telling me that the cover has been dispatched but I still haven't received it. I have asked for my money back but no response. I have tried to contact him again but there is no phone number, I have written to their address but also no reply. He now will not answer my emails.

Waited over 3 wks for my order still…

Waited over 3 wks for my order still not arrived sent several emails first few where answered saying it was on it way .obviously not still waiting then ask for a full refund asap then nothing no reply or anything now I've the hassle of trying to get my money back would not recommended your site and very very disappointed

Good communication but slow delivery

Poor delivery times, but good communication from the customer service team throughout. Although I had to wait longer than normal for my item to arrive and the tracker link showed no sign of dispatch, the customer service team responded to each email enquiry to assure me that the item was on it's way. True to their word, the item arrived a little late but in good order. Unfortunately, the quality of the product was very basic and not particularly good value. I don't think I would risk another order unless I knew in advance exactly what the item is like.

4+ weeks and still no cushion covers

4+ weeks and still no cushion covers, not even sure if they have been dispatched - replies to emails are very slow and generic (obviously a lot of people complaining!).

I initially read the reviews below and was stupid enough to think these were abnormal cases - they are not.

I think this company is offering an unacceptable experience and should not be trusted.

Orders do not arrive 7-10 days later....

I ordered 3 cushions covers on the same day 2nd May. After they didn't arrive 7-10 days later as suggested on their website I wrote an email to the customer services.

One cushion cover arrived 12 days later and one 15 days later and the third has still not arrived 25 days later now. I have emailed once again but no response.

Definitely, do not want to be chasing to know where the items I have purchased are and when they will be delivered. As a company there should be a responsibility to ensure customers have correct information on the website before placing an order. Clearly your delivery dates are incorrect.

Will not be using the services again. As am still chasing 3rd cushion cover nearly 4 weeks later! Really appalling.

Very clever marketing tactics that are…

Very clever marketing tactics that are misleading.

The company provides an address in the UK and one would think that the goods are stocked in the UK.
Wrong, the goods come from CHINA directly, no stock in the UK!

I ordered a cushion cover thinking that the merchandise was stocked in the UK and when enquiring about the delivery, I was provided with a link to a Chinese Post :(

I contacted the website to tell them I was disappointed about their lack of transparency and this is what was said to me regarding the issue:
"We do not say that we ship from the UK, infact we don't say where we ship from, we just offer a Free 7-10 working day delivery. We understand that sometimes orders can take longer than the delivery period, so as not to deceive anyone we have this within our shipping policy."

This is deceptive and a clever marketing tactic IMHO as indeed nothing is said about where the goods are shipped from.

I think it should be clear on the website that the company has its manufacturer in China and that all the stock comes from China.

It would leave the customer the choice to order or not.
Personally if I had known this fact, I would not have ordered.

As I have said in reply by email, we do not set out to mislead or adopt clever marketing tactics. Far from it, we are open, we offer support and reply within hours of being contacted.

The fact is, we sell cushion covers worldwide. We do actually ship cushion covers from the UK. But as we ship across the world we also have other sites in different countries, and ship from the UK and manufacturing site.

We do have a shipping policy on our website that explains this, so we are transparent. You are entitled to IMHO but its not actual fact. The clear fact is we ship from the UK to Europe, we ship from our manufacturing to Asia, Far East and Australia, and we also have site that ships to US.

If you are in Australia then our site becomes Australian, in the US it becomes a US site, Spain a Spanish site etc. We are just simply a worldwide business not just for the UK.

As a worldwide business this is the best option for us and for our loyal customers. To reflect this we offer Free delivery on all orders as well as tracking so we can keep our customers updated on their order.

We really appreciate you taking time to leave feedback.

There's that much choice on this website, it's hard not to buy them all. We received a 10% discount off our first order which was good. Very happy with our order. Arrived within the time frame quoted for delivery. Thumbs up from me.

Save yourself time and money...

Save yourself time and money... Do a reverse image look-up and place your own order from AliExpress. cushioncoverstore.com sells, at a significant mark-up, the exact same covers that are available on AliExpress. cushioncoverstore.com even uses the same stock photos as AliExpress! Take my advice and you'll pay about 1/3 of the price for an identical product.

P.S. Yes, I have ordered from this shop. Their reply suggests that they think they know who I am, so obviously they're familiar with the situation.

I waited over a month for covers that never came. According to one of cushioncoverstore.com's excuses (which has since been deleted from their Facebook page) the delay was because my "region is difficult to ship to." How is Western Europe "difficult to ship to" from the UK, especially for a retailer who supposedly stocks their own products? I order things from the UK all the time without any issues.

I found AliExpress because I was looking for another shop selling the same cushion cover design (and who could actually deliver the product). I'm not in the habit of reverse image searching everything I buy. I designed my kitchen around these cushion covers and when cushioncoverstore.com couldn't deliver, I tried to find them somewhere else. That's when I came across the same photos and same covers on AliExpress for 1/3 of the price.

I received my covers from AliExpress in less time than I spent waiting for cushioncoverstore.com to (not) deliver, not mention all of the time I wasted contacting cushioncoverstore.com for updates on the status of my order.

That's my experience with this company. That, coupled with the tone of their reply should tell you all you need to know about them.

Poor customer service, + >1 month delivery just a front for a Chinese business

We don't say that we will deliver in 5-10 working days. Our site says 7-10 and within our shipping policy we do state this. We have replied to all your emails when you have contacted us. We ship direct from our manufacturing site so we can provide FREE shipping on all orders. All of our orders do get delivered as we have confirmed with PayPal.
