You better like the product because expensive so called ‘money back guarantee’
I purchased the CurrentBody 4-in-1 Face Mask Device in November, 2023. I paid roughly $650 for this device expecting a high-quality premium product.
Just after a year of use, the device began to yellow significantly on the LED side, beneath the surface where it cannot be cleaned. During my use, I have always maintained the device according to manufacture instructions (Cleaning after every use, using non-alcoholic agents). Needless to say, this issue is clearly a manufacturing or material defect.
I reached out to CurrentBody's Canadian team hoping for them to honour the 2-year Warranty that they offer on this device. I was initially told to clean the device with alcohol-based products, this directly contradicts with the maintenance instructions of the product.
After pointing out to them this discrepancy, they dismissed the yellowing as a non-issue. As a consumer, I expect a premium product such as this to maintain both appearance and quality overtime, especially when I have followed all the maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer.
The highlight and epitome of their customer service was when the agent attempted to offering me a £25 gift card as compensation. This sort of resolution to warranty servicing is unheard of.
Not only is the amount minuscule in comparison to my product purchase but also a blatant attempt to force me into spending more money with their company and leaving me with the same defective device!!!
Buyers be warned!
Further to my last review have just received an in-depth reply explaining the initial procedure for attaching straps and eye pieces.
Well done CurrentBody - great customer service.
Awful service. I ordered the NuFACE Mini Facial Toning Device, but upon opening it, we were shocked by its low quality and wanted to return it. However, it turned out that the return policy was very convoluted, and in the end, my request was rejected. That's how I lost $260.
First off you cannot speak with a human ,or chat. You have to communicate via email and answers take time!
Wrong item was ordered, i quickly contacted via email they confirmed a day later that they fixed the issue and after waiting a week for the item to arrive i only got an attachment not the actual device. Finally the device was sent but never got invoice so again had to spend the time to ask and wait for invoice , whcih at first wasnt even right. The machine did not function as it was suppose to. So i actually gave up with dealing with current body and went straight to the company that made the product . I was able to speak with a human and had a better experience
