I am both disappointed and appalled by my experience at this dental practice. This is not how a customer should be treated. After several negative encounters English dentistries this incident was the final straw.
I will fly in another country for a treatment.
On the day of my appointment, the roads were icy, and due to the severe weather conditions, I was unfortunately running late. I tried to call the practice to inform them but was left on hold for an extended period without anyone answering. When I finally arrived, the staff were standing around chatting and laughing.
Instead of understanding the situation, I was told, rather dismissively, that the doctor “doesn’t have forever” and that I would need to make a new appointment. Not only did I have to turn around and drive all the way back home, but I was also shocked to receive an email stating:
“We have noticed you failed to attend your appointment with us. In accordance with our policy, there will be a failure to attend fee applied to your account.”
The lack of empathy and professionalism is unacceptable. I expected more understanding given the circumstances. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this practice to others.
