DAMAGED PARCEL RETURNED
My oarcel damaged and empty on arrival .sent back by Amazon 15 September.Ive heard nothing since.Iv tried varios ways of trying to contact Cult Beauty and Trust Pilot but to no avail.
I had a very disappointing experience with Cult Beauty regarding a recent return.
I returned three items unused and in their original condition:
- Dr Barbara Sturm Discovery Kit (£136)
- Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Concealer (N2)
- Natasha Denona Hy-Glam Foundation (N3)
I have clear photographic evidence showing the items were in pristine condition before sending them back.
However, my refund was refused on the basis that the items were “not in pristine condition,” which I strongly dispute.
What is even more concerning is that the items sent back to me do NOT match what I originally returned. I received different products, and the most expensive item (Dr Barbara Sturm Discovery Kit) is now missing.
In addition:
- The return was sent back to me without any notification
- The parcel was left unattended for two weeks in my green bin as I was on holiday.
- The items were returned in completely different and smaller packaging
Customer service has been extremely frustrating. I keep receiving the same generic response from “Leah” without any proper investigation into my case or consideration of the photographic evidence I have provided.
To make matters worse, I am unable to reply directly as the email states “do not reply,” and I can no longer access my account, which prevents me from contacting them through normal channels.
This raises serious concerns about how returns are handled and the security of customer property.
Unless this is resolved promptly, I will be escalating this further through my payment provider and formal complaint channels. If the above doesn't help I will take this into the Small Claims Court to get my £206 back!!!
Very disappointing experience.
Very disappointed still not received my items that come to a substantial amount cannot contact cult beauty via phone had to use chat spoke to a person called Mbali whom assured I would get it today however I am not receiving because they can’t find the place which I find strange. having had lots of parcels delivered there
This was supposed to be a 24 hour delivery sigh and was a gift for a person’s birthday will try to get a refund if this does not arrive today and go to a more reliable site
They are scammers whatever you do do not purchase from here. I just purchased something by accident and I tried to cancel it shortly after and they lied and said it was dispatched when it clearly wasn’t all they want is your money.
Please buy from another company. Save your pennies.
on top of all that they told me I have to pay for the return. I will never ever buy from this company again. They do not care about their customers. The worst customer service, they did not take me seriously whatsoever.
Update: 21st April my order on the website is still marked as ordered and not dispatched, yet they are telling me it's already been dispatched still are refusing to cancel! Also it hasn't been processed on klarna.
Having recently complained about the extremely poor customer care I’ve faced from this site, it has escalated to become the worst retail encounter i have ever had. After explaining that i could not complete their pro-forma, I supplied them with the required details after having my package stolen on Sunday morning
(postman left it inside the entrance of my apt block). They would not accept this and various staff just kept sending me same form? Four times I requested to know what conflict resolution/ombudsman they had signed, and each time they ignored me and the Consumer Rights Act. I become so stressed by this disregard that i disclosed that I suffer severe depression and anxiety. Again, they refused to make Reasonable Adjustments under the Equality Act and kept sending me the form I could not complete. I've become so distraught that I've asked not to contact me again and cancel account. They are good at taking your money but when your items are stolen they do not want to help you; please don’t risk having anything to do with this site.
Things have gone from bad to worse. I was told that the bulk of my order had been delivered in a third package ( CB having only delivered 4 of my 14 items ordered - spread across two separate packages). I was assured that this third package would contain everything remaining. I’ve now been able to open this package and it is clearly meant for someone else - it contains a number of items NONE of which I ordered. I’m still awaiting the bulk of my items having spent over £300 with CB. I’m at the end of my tether. Woeful service.
