Worst ever
Worst ever. They lied about emailing me that my shipping and billing address were different and then they lied about emailing me that my order had shipped. My order was delayed FOUR WEEKS and they gave me a hard time refunding the $25 shipping fee. Will never order from here again. Not worth the time and aggravation.

They lied to me about the rewards program. I never signed up for there rewards program. I noticed on my credit card account they were taking out 19.95 a month. There miss leading crooks! Never ever recommend this company.

Ugh, should have read the reviews first! Cancelled the item I wanted without notifying me (sent the one I got as a “because I’m ordering from here anyway” item, not attractive at all); crazy overpriced shipping and up charges; took FOREVER to arrive. Never again!
Hard to deal with, exorbitant shipping fees
Very hard to deal with - long wait times for refunds, shipping charges are outrageous. I ordered a pillow that was supposed to be "standard" firmness, it was like a brick. Never will I do business with them again.
Company will scam you into monthly charge for PGI Cuddledown Rewards program - beware
I ordered a mattress pad in December which is a great product. Happy. Fast forward, I just discovered that I have been charged $21.27 per month since my purchase for something called PGI Cuddledown Rewards. This is a total scam, I did not knowingly enroll in this program, this is so deceitful. Now see MANY BBB complaints online about their deceitful practice. Will be calling them tomorrow requesting refund of 3 months of charges and an apology for this total scam.

Terrible customer service & overpriced charges for delivery . Not only do they overcharge for original delivery , they charge 10$ to return an item that could be mailed at much less .
Inaccurate Advertising
Very disappointing first time purchase. Missed the 48 hr. free shipping discount as no specifications for beginning and end times. Received e-mail notice at 8:29 p.m. on 3/10/25 and although I ordered before 8:30 p.m. on 3/12/25 discount was not given. Wrong math? Any customer service info link on their site only returned you to home page?? Interesting! When I called customer service "Raya" was not helpful. Reviewed my bill which I am totally capable of reading and understanding and NO info provided on policy or on recent discount criteria. Duh! Some companies give you notifications or "count downs" as to WHEN the offer expires! Must be a guessing game or "read their minds" process? Products seem nice, but costly!!! As a person on limited income I take advantage of any discount I can. And as is SO usual today, this organization is more interested in money and greed than customer service! Wonder where all their financial proceeds go? I won't order again. I don't support organizations that have poor customer service/poor business practice. Sure it doesn't matter!!!
Scam
Two issues. First, the fitted bottom sheet is oversized. Second, without signing up, I was charged a monthly fee of $19.95 plus tax. This was very deceptive. I contacted the company and the cancelled the fee and refunded me. Don't fall for the scam.
ABYSMAL SHIPPING & EXCHANGE TIMES!
First, I will say that the product I ordered (a nightgown, in supima cotton) looked well made and was super-soft -- but absolutely not true to size. I returned it immediately using the return label they provided, asking to exchange it for a smaller size, and then ... radio silence. I called weeks later and was informed that return "processing" could take several weeks. I never received an email confirming receipt, but eventually (almost a month later) saw a credit on my credit card -- minus shipping costs, which are unreasonably high. I waited to see the return item and called in today; was informed that they had not done the exchange I requested. Considering that they charged $20 to ship to me, and $20 for me to ship it back (what other companies do that nowadays??), I would suggest avoiding this company like the plague.

Absolutely terrible experience trying to return a gift to this company. They wouldn't allow me to return it without involving the original sender. I don't want my mother bothered by my trying to exchange a gift she sent me. They refused to even just send me a gift card in exchange without contacting my mother and refunding her account and then charging her again for a gift card. Also, they charge super high rates for shipping and return shipping and then shipping again. So, exchanging one light weight item and getting a new item would cost over $40 just in shipping.

Terrible customer service
I’m giving this company two stars instead of one because I am very satisfied with the quality and style of the products but you’d better hope that everything goes off without a hitch because their customer service is nonexistent.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
First of all, I really loved their down (only) pillows. Since November 2024, I have spent approximately $2,000.00 on those pillows. I have an order that got caught up in Fedex and I needed to change the delivery date. Fedex (after 40 minutes of nonsense) said only had Cuddledown could call and change that delivery date (even though I have a Fedex account). After another 45 minutes of waiting, Cuddledown who, at first said they could not do anything without the original order number, to which I asked if they didn't have computer records of orders dating back 30 days, after more runaround, they finally informed me that once they give the package to Fedex, they could no longer do anything and I would have to contact Fedex ... around and around it goes. I will NEVER order anything from Cuddledown again. Buyer Beware!!
The WORST customer SERVICE
These people have the worst customer service I have experienced! I will never buy from them again.
I purchased a mattress pad to use on a bed for out-of-town guests coming for the holidays. The shipment took way longer than was quoted. I do understand it's a holiday season and accepted this. However, unfortunately, when the item arrived it did not fit the bed as it is an unusual size and I ended up needing a CA King. Not their fault. I just wanted to quickly find a solution and order a larger size while simultaneously return the one I had. The lady I spoke to was completely dumb. I paid $164+ for the item and she said I had to pay $11.95 for the return bringing my refund to $130 something. Ha! I kept telling her she was miscalculating and I needed to receive $152 something back. She also told me the King size was now $139. Ha! another joke now. It was $239. She insisted on the $130 refund so I finally had to hang up.
I ended up going to The Company Store who I have used for YEARS! The customer service was EXCELLENT! I ended up buying another mattress pad for 1/2 the price and received outstanding service PLUS I received a 25% discount and FREE SHIPPING..
Truly awful and incompetent customer…
Truly awful and incompetent customer service + overcharge on S&H. Overall, I've had several bad experiences with them over the years. Some of their material are nice, but good luck if you encounter any problems and try to sort it out. In my experience their customer service responders have been either clueless and ignorant of the product, and/or unnecessarily rude and obnoxious to deal with. Find another vendor if you can.
Impossible to Stop Mailbox-Filling Catalogues!
Ordered something three years ago. I don't even remember what it was. However, once you are on their mailing list, you will be inundated with mailed catalogues! I've gone online and checked the appropriate boxes, but they continue filling my PO box. Make it stop!
Awful
Returning two pillowcases to Cuddledown has resulted in me deciding never to order from them again after many years of wonderful merchandise and service. Here’s what I experienced this week: (1) No return label was included even though the reverse side of the return/exchange form says: AFFIX LABEL HERE. (2) So I had to call twice to find out how to get a label. I was on hold for a very long time. The first rep. failed to send the label. The second rep. sent me a link to where I could print out the two-page label/return slip from the website. You would have thought I was returning gold bricks or a tiger. (3) Printing out the two pages sucked up a great deal of ink from my home printer due to all the bold text, lines, borders, QR codes, etc. (4) Now to repackage the set of pillowcases, locate an FedX office, and make that round trip, after paying Cuddledown an additional $10.95 for the label AND $2.50 for carrier imposed surcharge added to the $59.00 for the pillowcases and $16.49 for S&H.
This is not good customer service. It is disrespectful to customers. Customers shouldn’t have to do all this work to get two pillowcases ready to send back. The ultimate insult is that I had to pay $10.95 for the return label. And the instructions warn that a refund can take four to six weeks. BTW, the pillowcases are paler than they are on-line.

Sheets I ordered did not arrive for over a week- no shipping notification, nothing. They said they required additional information for credit card. I cancelled due to their inefficiency. This month my credit card was billed $18.26 as a repeating charge. I have received nothing from them and did not sign up for anything. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from this company. Numerous other people on this website have had similar problems.
