Its a novel. I'm in in awe! From start to finish your glasses are superior. Took by 5th pair in to adjust the temple tips. They all noticed admiringly the handmade beauty of the craftsmanship. You should all be proud! Every step in my Cubitts glasses purchase wither in England or LA has been swift. I purchased Barlow in gold and the lenses came askew. Shipped back and returned perfect immediately. These are the companies we need to fully support. I come from a lineage of high end brilliant ethical engineers and crafts people. I recognize and admire that Cubitts glasses are truly one-of-a-kind!!

So my puppies ate my glasses…… have some very specific needs for the lenses. Cubitt were amazing. I’m not based in uk, but they were instantly responsive funny and efficient. Cubitts Covent Garden…. You rock

Staff had a very nice manner - they were kind and attentive, and definitely felt like I got adequate time & attention, although Soho store gets very busy. The glasses styles (and staff) are very cool, but the whole atmosphere doesnt feel intimidatingly trendy. Had to change the size of my glasses so was delighted about the free exchange period! Fantastic. Also like the 1 yr on glasses service a lot. Very happy with the purchase & the service that came with it - would like to buy more glasses from Cubitts in future. Thank you!

I complimented a friend on her glasses and she sent me to Cubitts Hampstead. Lovely professional staff and a fabulous range of frames. They're the most comfortable glasses I've ever had. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing them. All my friends have been very complimentary. Overall an extremely positive experience.

I visited the Notting Hill branch of Cubitts in order to upgrade the lenses on both pairs (distance and reading) of my existing Cubitts frames. I dealt with the manager Varman Thiya and it was an absolute pleasure from start to finish.

At last, glasses frames you can choose in different colours and sizes. I’ve spent so long searching for frames only to be told “they’re too big for you” “they only do this colour” “sorry, sorry, sorry!!!” I’m thrilled to find you and have been promoting Cubitts to everyone who comments on my new glasses.

Cubitts (Jermyn St) combine perfectly - professionalism and friendliness. It was by far the best experience I have ever had from an opticians (this from a very short sighted 50 year old). I really cannot recommend them highly enough.

Fantastic service. If you have complex eyes, as I do, then there is no where better to get your glasses from.

Everyone I came into contact with was great. The optician was brilliant and very professional and made sure I got exactly what I was asking for. The staff member in the shop who helped me with frames etc was also brilliant - she really knew her stuff and gave great advice.

I had lost the screw from the leg of my glasses on the train to Edinburgh. I went into Cubitts on York Place and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Although they didn’t have the same type of screw, they used another to repair them for me until I can get the right type. They wouldn’t charge me for their help. So impressed. Thanks!

I was drawn by the beautiful frames displayed at the Edinburgh Old Town store. I didn’t even needed new glasses but I couldn’t resist them. Martin gave us a warm welcome and was really helpful with all the process of trying, choosing and buying my new frames. I was surprised that I could have the frames with my prescription lenses sent to my house in Portugal. When they got here I realized that I made the mistake with the size and asked to change it. Once again they were really helpful and quick solving the issue. Im really happy with my new glasses and even more happy with the customer experience provided by everyone at Cubitts! 10/10

Best eye test I have ever had—really thorough. Everyone in the store was lovely and helpful, especially when helping me select a frame (I was spoilt for choice with the excellent selection). Had the glasses sent to my home, and it was an extremely fast and smooth process with brilliant communication. Definitely recommend visiting Cubitts for its outstanding service and range of frames.

The broadway market store is a delight to visit. It’s a busy location but feels accessible, welcoming and gives a quiet luxury feel. The advisors are all very kind & approachable also!

Cubitts is a breath of fresh air. Their service, choice & quality is on another level.

Cubitts glasses have nice designs and high-quality frames, but there are concerns with lens durability and consistency in product sizing. Coating wore down within months, and website descriptions didn’t match actual measurements. Customer service is helpful, though responses can vary. While packaging and accessories are great, lens issues may not justify the price.

UPDATE:
I have since gone back to Cubitts to try them again and the experience was much better, so have updated my score to 4 stars.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Ordered glasses from the Cambridge store with the option of adding nosepads to acetate frames as that is what drew me to Cubitts.

Had to wait over 2 weeks for the frames with nosepads to arrive in the store and then had to go in to be measured for those.

Another 2 weeks later the lenses finally arrive and so over a month after placing the order I can finally collect the glasses. All this time I was waiting for my glasses I was experiencing sore eyes and headaches due to my prescription having changed.

Collecting the glasses was fine but after around 15 minutes of wearing them the nose pad came off so it clearly hadn’t been done properly.

Went back to the store and the staff were at least very apologetic and sorted a refund as they could not fix the frames.

Overall not a good experience at all, but at least the staff in the store were nice and helpful which is why this review is 2 stars, not 1 star.

was recommended to Cubitts, I had a comprehensive eye test check and now have new beautiful new glasses with the right prescription, I could not be happier. Excellent service from the great team at Shoreditch. Consummate professionals and genuinely nice people. Thank you!!

Cubitts Cheapside: Popped in on the off-chance to have a pair of my own sunglasses altered that were too tight (not purchased there) Afiq was charming and so helpful. He adjusted them perfectly and would not accept any payment. I had (wrongly) written off this store as an overpriced opticians - but once in there looking at their stock of frames and sunglasses was pleasantly surprised how reasonable they were. Will go back for sure :-)

I cannot say enough good things about Cubitts (Spitalfields). I came to them after it had all gone wrong at another store in Spitalfields. John and Gabs were amazing. They were patient, I was in and out of the store at least three times trying to get the prescription right (not their fault). They never made me feel as if I was a bother. They have a customer for life!

I purchased glasses that were supposed to go dark in sunlight. they only went slightly beige and offered no protection from the sun. i complained and they replaced the lenses but they are no better. they just go a weird very pale beige still. it's very hard to get hold of anyone by calling the store. the lenses + frames cost around £500 but are not fit for purpose. very disappointing
