where to star ,the first car a got at terminal 2 had mecanical problem ,the second day i when to pick up a new car which i got after 1 hour waiting ,no good attention at all .after that i stared trip holguin but i past over a hole on the road approximately 70 kilometer of havana in a place call [ nueva paz] both of my right side where punch ,after 3 hours assistance road service fixed the car allowing my continuing my trip to holguin.the next nightmare was at the gas station ,they wont let me fill up the car with regular gasoline because i am suppost to put especial gasoline ,but nobody has it ,the only way the i found was to give extra money to be able to put regular gasoline ,i would like to receive some answer from cuba travel

I have already provided a strong review for Cuba Travel Network but feel compelled to add to my experience. Nailing down taxi transfer details including driver names and phone numbers ahead of time is often a significant challenge in Cuba. In 2 cases for taxi transfers Dennis at CTN worked on 2 Saturdays to keep us up to the minute informed to ensure everything happened as planned and on time. Just another example of above and beyond customer service by CTN. Thank you again CTN! 😀

What was going to be only a single star rating I've upgraded to two stars due to extra support in the end by Cuba Travel Network this past Spring. I'll share with you my experience and let you draw your own conclusion.
In the beginning I had quite good support in booking my complete short-notice trip for several thousand USD through Cuba Travel Network's Dutch branch office. When all was cancelled due to COVID, no one was to be found. The web page was gone and I received no reply to my emails or phone calls.
After several months I found the same web page in operation again and followed the standard instructions to file a claim with their insurer SRG. After several months of useless correspondence with SRG, they finally confirmed that my case wasn't covered and no refund would be possible. After contacting Cuba Travel Network again, I was directed to a Dutch legal office handling the bankruptcy claims. I filed my claim with them this past Feb. and am still trying to get feedback. Yes, its been a nightmare and I'm not holding my breath on the claim.
Now the reason for the upgrade to two stars... My travel insurance had rejected my previous claims due to insufficient documentation. Cuba Travel Network was able to help me with the documentation. I consider myself quite lucky now for this very limited success with my own travel insurance. Thanks again Cuba Travel Network, for this support.

After going bankrupt April 2020, Cuba Travel Network has not refunded our money (more than $1,000), despite promising to do so through their insurer (SGR) in the Netherlands. After sending all the required documentation and doing all they requested, including waiting patiently, I have called SGR and have been informed that Eddie Lubbers and Cuba Travel network were also doing business as "Destino Travel" and did not properly insure all their business.
The insurer said their "bankruptcy is a mess" and it is unknown if their will be any refunds.
As previous posts note, this is fraud, so anyone using this NON-Cuban company should be very cautious, and do not send more money than you want to lose.

I rented a car in January for a trip and September I canceled the trip in February and until this day I haven’t received my 488.16 USD that I paid in advance this was my second time using this company and I was complete desbelieve when all I received was a letter saying the company filed up for bankruptcy.
Now they open the business again like nothing ever happen, what’s going on here is cuba travel network taking peoples money and not returned the money?
