How long can take a crypto to deposit?! What a crap, It took 1 hour to get my card activated, then I've send money to my Cryptonow wallet for what I'm already waiting 55 minutes still not there. They've got cut 12.5% of what I've purchased card for. Totaly useless, never again

Thank you for your review. We understand that it can be frustrating to wait longer for sending or importing a wallet and not have it processed instantly. However, this waiting period is due to the fact that each time the card is activated or imported into the mobile app, a transaction on the blockchain is conducted. Until such a transaction is confirmed, it can take up to 2 hours, depending on the cryptocurrency and the blockchain's load.
Each gift card includes a Cryptonow Wallet®, which is also a Non-Custodial Wallet, meaning that cryptocurrencies are transferred directly to the customer's own wallet via the blockchain. Holding cryptocurrencies on the Cryptonow Wallet® is much safer than storing them on an exchange or with a broker. Additionally, the Cryptonow Wallet® is an offline wallet, which is considered the safest way to store cryptocurrencies.

The hidden fees are so important that you might lose half of your money. Just remove the sooooo numerous positive reviews (???????????????), what is left are the rare real users that were all scammed.
edit : More then 24 hours for a transfer between their ATM and their app. And for such a long transfer they charged 10.50€...

The fees are 8.9% and you need also to consider that the Bitcoin price is really volatile and can change often 1-20% just in some minutes/hours.

Cryptonow.com tarnishes crypto
Very, very disappointed.
When I activated my Wallet the price of BTC was around the CHF 44'000.- mark. On cryptonow, the exchange was done at more than CHF 50'000.-.
Over and above this there is a 8.9% transaction fee as well as a CHF1.0- activation fee.
From their website:
"Card Activation Fee: 1.0 CHF
Commission: 8.90%*
* The indicative reference price is displayed during the activation and exchange process and is subject to substantial market fluctuations. FIAT currency foreign exchange spread is not included. The use of cryptonow services are outlined in the general terms, exchange conditions and local regulations."
I would avoid cryptonow, now and forever. They should be called cryptonever.

Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. We can understand your displeasure. The price difference also arises from the exchange on which we buy the bitcoins. Not all exchanges have the same buying and selling price of bitcoin at all times. The basic principle of supply and demand also applies there.
Our fees are higher than online exchanges. This has to do with the fact that it is a physical product and we only operate in Switzerland. Therefore, we have less reach and expansion possibilities, as other platforms or exchanges have, for example.
