I didn’t like the results of my relative finder. I don’t recognize anyone on the list of extended family. I thought I would find connections with closer relatives. Also, I sent messages to all of my 6... See more

Meaningless company with extremly limited results. If your looking for family connections then this company is a waste of time. They do not search outside of their own database. WORTHLESS. Lots of worthless information

I got information that was not useful at all. I will like to find out more about my family tree, find missing close family members.. Finding out asparagus does not change the way my urine smell is not important. I paid $185 to still have no important information about me.. I dont care about 7,8,9, cousin.. I have no immediate family on my report..

More details into ethnicity will be helpful.
I felt it was too vague. I knew my ancestors originated from Africa and I already knew I was multicultural. My most close ethnicities is what I was looking for.

Hands down this is the worst company I tested with.
They don't have wide database, so they assign testers to any ethnicity
They don't allow you to get your raw data,
They didn't deliver what was paid for; my results were missing the advanced timeline and after 2 tickets it has never been resolved
Their customer service use AI when they respond back fo your email complaints
Price is overly expensive for one of the worst experiences I had within the DNA testing companies
Strongly not recommended

I thought I was ready to see the results of my DNA test but I was so wrong. Its interesting to see the true results of where I am from and what I am made out of!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It was a waste of time, the results are extremely vague, and make no sense, the "health reports" they claim to provide is random traits. Customer service is useless. The company has already gotten in trouble with the FTC for deceptive pricing and creating fake reviews, which they continue to do.

I got my DNA results and they told me I was 38% English, 34% German. All 8 of my great-grandparents are German and are from Germany, so there is no way this is true. I had my DNA analyzed about 5 years ago by a different company, and they had much more believable results (including 0% English). When I wrote and asked for a refund, they said no. So I am suggesting you don't use this company. I have seen many other reviews that say this company's results are poor.
NOTE: The company responded below with a AI generated response, which is just CYA. This has not improved my low opinion of this company.

CRI Genetics did not provide me with the Paternal Haplogroup, even though I paid for it. Instead, I was told that it was not available to them, and suggested I have a test with another company. If they could provide me with those results, then they would provide me with credits for other reports that are sold on their website, or a partial credit. They could have offered me an additional test for it at no charge, or even at a discount. The "Date of experience" was June, 08 2024. However, to make it official, CRI Genetics requires the submission date be within twelve months. Therefore, I listed it as June, 08 2026.

I learned some things i didn't know about my family

Highly inaccurate. Does NOT match my other reports in anyway. Looks like someone else’s report. Very expensive with nickel and diming to get results that were promised when I first paid for the service. Total waste of money.

I am an avid genealogist for decades. I have taken two tests with Ancestry DNA. I have lines in my family back to the 1500's. Nowhere was there any English connections but your report indicates that it is the most prominent portion of my genetic makeup.
I put no trust or reliability in the results you gave me.

Some of the ancestry results I got with CRI do not match those I received from Ancestry.com, which I find way more reputable. Additionally, when you purchase the report that allows you to connect with relatives, they do not disclose that it takes additional weeks to release that information.

I love the insights, but was expecting more comprehensive access to specific genes, markers, and mutations. As well as export capabilities.

It unlocked more questions than answering them, now I wish one of my siblings took the test, also,to solidify ,if needs to and then to dig deeper into the mystery.

Too busy trying to sell you something else while you’re trying to review your findings you paid for which leaves a simple basic person confused so I have no answers after spending $129.

Reply from CRI Genetics
The ancestry is not close to what my genealogical research has indicated and it is vastly different than Ancestry.com-dont see how it could be so different.

Other DNA companies give you actual family tree relationships. CRI leaves you wondering? No links to ancestors names, actual cites they came from etc

Reply from CRI Genetics
Not worth the money spent. Questionable results.
