Crident is a Hot Steaming Pile of Garbage
Crident took down all their US Servers without any warning whatsoever. They've promised refunds and data returns to all customers, but they have yet to deliver on these promises to anyone. I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated. They've alienated half their customer base by doing this.
Horrible Experience

Long Term User (Updated)
So let's start off with what I was operating on Crident. I am the owner of Atlas Uprising and at the time of hosting with Crident which was around Q1 2020, it was smooth starting out. Upon the release of the AMD chips, we had instantly purchased Crident Nitros with the chips. For some reason, we kept experiencing daily crashes only on the AMD-based nodes. Well, we decided to test our theory by making TWO identical servers but one with the Intel Chip and the other with AMD. AMD server crashed on map change and Intel server stayed alive on map change. Well it majority concerned us and hindered our player base at the time so we contacted Crident. Support responded to the point of claiming its an issue with MySQLoo which made zero logic as Intel based system worked perfectly fine but the AMD did not. The servers were identical but Crident did not care and closed the ticket. We had moved our entire infrastructure to self-hosted that same week. Now almost two years later we're happily hosted by GMCHosting. Thought I would write this review because it seems like someone is now running this company again and actually giving some care into it. I would love to see Crident make it in the industry but our experience was terrible. Hope you can take our review into consideration.
Updated 11/11/2022:
Well as expected, this company went downhill fast. I wish the owners the best of luck on their next venture and hope they put their customers first in the next business.
Good
Excellent server performance but their support is lacking, unfortunately it's been a rocky start but I am looking forward to the good server performance.
Updated Review
We have reviewed before, when we had a few issues + got feedback from the devs that they would sort them, so at the time we were pretty happy with the service. We've continued to use it, but the service has gone downhill and is pretty poor. Regular server downtime due to a variety of issues, lack of support on Discord, issues with MySQL and a ticket for which has been open for a MONTH with no real response to solve the issue. The fact that issues aren't addressed in a timely manner when they run a service that is available 24/7 is just unacceptable and even more so given that there are CONSTANTLY issues that are experienced - not just on one node, either.
Support has a really bad response time
Support has a really bad response time. I've been trying to get my server up this weekend but I've had constant crident / dino issues. On Friday I asked for a server location change from US -> UK, which was done fairly quickly. However, this made it so much worse. For starters they put me on a node that was not even working (You would think they would test it) The node was apparently fixed Sunday at 12am, but my server was still not working. At this point I will not be able to open my server this weekend... It is now 12 pm on the Sunday and none of my support tickets have been looked at / responded to and my server is still down. The error says invalid namespace which makes me think that the guy who moved the server in the first place did it wrong.
ERROR - There was an error attempting to establish a WebSocket connection to the Daemon. This panel will not work as expected. Invalid namespace
Great
Excellent company, support staff are great at their job and speedy. Big up drizzy.
Great Services, Highly Recommend
Crident provides great services at an affordable price and it’s the exact company I’m looking for as a client. They are active within their Discord and frequently post announcements. They are connected with their community and that’s an amazing, important thing to see within a company. Crident has earned my business and they continue to do so everyday.
Best Gmod Host 2020
Crident has been the best gmod host i've used so far out of my 4 years hosting gmod servers. They are quick with support tickets even with being in another country from me. If i have a problem they fix it asap. They have yet to disappoint me.
Crident Networks is a really great…
Crident Networks is a really great server host. Crident has very supportive staff with really great servers at low prices. I currently own a server with them and it has been flawless ever since I bought it.
Great Hardware, Understanding Team
Crident offer some of the best hardware available at a fraction of the price of other high end competitors. Price/performance they're by far the best host I've ever worked with.
Cridents support is not for everyone, they are clear that they don't offer 24/7 support and they really mean that. If you want them to hold your hand through server setup, expect to take a couple weeks. Their ticket responses are definitely slow for non-essential issues, in my experience it takes 1-2 weeks to get extra ports opened.
However, if something goes wrong on their end, they don't shy away from it. I had a pretty big issue between my server and their platform and drizzy personally worked with me for over a week, day in and day out, to get it fixed as soon as possible. They're a small team, but they really are committed to giving a great service.
TL;DR - Great Price/Performance, Slow Support, Great for Experienced Server Owners
Personal favorite gmod host
Their gmod panel is better than its competitors from what I’ve seen, definitely a big bonus of their service and why I stick with them as long as they keep the competitive prices. That and their servers are up to standard and what you’d expect, they work perfectly from my experience and they have a helpful discord for getting panel or server support from the community/staff.
Excellent Service
The services I received from Crident has been really good all around. Their panel is nothing short from perfection and their prices and server locations are top notch. Very easy to browse for what you want to buy, and the panel they use is very user friendly. I am very pleased with my experiences with Crident. 10/10
Really great service
I always find myself coming back to Crident each time I start any server. Their plugins for managing addons and automatically installing gamemodes etc. are really nice to have and a definite plus for any server owner. I highly recommend them for their great prices and plans, and their hardware can handle any large community for sure.
Works good, but is a bit pricey
Works good, both for vanilla and modded minecraft, but it's a bit on the pricier side.
