I bought their Ribbed Alpaca socks direct at a cost of $43.
This is what their ads claim: "These Ribbed Alpaca socks offer an excellent soft alternative to other natural fibres."
I have to wear soft socks because of a chronic foot condition. I use bamboo as well as merino/possum fibre socks and was looking for something as good or better than these.
On first wear I would describe these as prickly, like old plain woollen socks used to be. I handwashed them and there was no improvement. I did a blind test of their feel with my partner who did not find them softer than her merino socks.
I requested a return on the grounds that they breached the consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law of accurate product description. They refused.
