Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
Absolutely Horrible CS! Calls are handled by overseas call centers that employ absolutely clueless and totally unprofessional agents! They never help and are extremely lazy!
NEED ZERO STARS!!
Need to offer zero stars!! This card was referred by Experian Credit, dont ever use their recommendations.
I paid Credit One in full in Oct 2025, by phone, an amount THEY quoted. They even transferred me to the dept that offers you the moon not to close your acct!! I have an email confirmation of the acct closure, plus a refund for overpayment issued in Nov 2025. For the last 7 months they have been charging me interest fees on an empty acct. Now it's showing delinquent and lowering my score. I have recorded phone messages trying to straighten this out but they just hang up. Don't EVER get a card from them. Not worth the hassles.
Credit One Bank is a SCAM!
I got a card from them, it took 2 months to get to me because they would not change my address for weeks, then, I got the card, bought some coffee and pizza and they froze my card. They would not accept my documents, and said I still owed to pay the first payment plus $30. They are all scammers. This is not capital one, its a cheap spinoff. DO NOT EVEN APPLY.
Unauthorized transactions were made on…
Unauthorized transactions were made on my account in another state where I was not physically present.
I have clear evidence proving my location at the time, but the bank continues to ignore it and refuses to properly investigate.
Instead, they are holding me responsible and demanding payment for transactions I did not make.
Very concerning experience
0⭐️CANCEL YOUR CARD shady practices
0⭐️CANCEL YOUR CARD before they change terms on you! Guess there is a clause that they can change their agreement with you at any point regardless of your perfect pay history and 800+ credit score. They charged me a $95 annual fee that was NOT in the original agreement I signed. I only signed up because in the original agreement there was no annual fee. Why would I have signed up for a $1500 credit limit for $95 a year when I have other cards with 12k+ and 10k+ limits with rewards and no fee.
Paid my bill 9 days ago, available credit not updated
Paid my bill 9 days ago, balance still has not updated. Last month they wanted me to prove my payment by bank statements and that took a week to clear..this card sucks
Credit One increases the Annual Fee…
Credit One increases the Annual Fee every year. It is now $95 up from $35. I don't find out until they send me an email saying that I'm over my credit limit. The stupid Annual Fee puts me over the credit limit!!! I HATE CREDIT ONE!!! HUGE MISTAKE!!!
I have had Credit One card for over a…
I have had the Credit One card for over a year and have experienced nothing but excellent service. The application process was quick, and they extended me my best credit line — something that has been invaluable in rebuilding my credit and restoring stability to my life. The app is easy to use, and when I faced severe financial hardship due to a blood disorder, their team worked with me so I could keep my account active. By contrast, the Reflex Card closed my account after assuring me it would remain open, which further damaged my credit despite my efforts to get current. I would highly recommend Credit One to anyone trying to rebuild or maintain their credit — they communicate clearly and will work with you when you keep them informed.
Horrible
Been with them for a couple months now. Everything was going fairly well until I decided to make my monthly payments by bank account. They charged me $30 for a return fee when the money was in my account. My bill is due on the 13th, money in my account, they waited until the 14th to charge me the return fee. I’ve always paid using the express payment and paid an extra $4.95 with no issue a few days before. They just take your money for whatever reason they decide. Be careful doing the standard payment from your bank account! They want the extra $4.95 to do an express payment.
Terrible bank
Terrible bank. Terrible privacy policy. Terrible customer service
I had recently gotten a letter from…
I had recently gotten a letter from Credit One Bank offering me an increase of my credit line I am a good customer always paying on time paying more than the minimum due so I accepted the increase Credit One mailed me a new bank card (new design) I was thinking ok my account has been upgraded NO Credit One opened a completely New account with the increased line of credit good thing I didn't spend it because Now I have 2 different accounts paying off the first Credit One Card and the New line of Credit is this Legal? I closed the account and really told the customer service rep off How dishonest Credit One Bank is!!
Credit One Bank is the worst bank I've…
Credit One Bank is the worst bank I've ever dealt with. I went over my limit by 2 cents. I have no idea how I went over and they can't explain it to me. Most of the time their customer service agents speak very poor english. My minimum payment was $82 this month. I made the payment the day I received my SSDI direct deposit on February 26. They waited 6 days to take the money from my account. From past experience, I held off using my Chime account for 4 days after I made the payment to Credit One. They waited at least 6 days to take the payment from my account. I received a notice from Chime that my payment was declined. This is the second time this has happened to me. I made a standard payment. In order to have them take the payment from my account immediately, I have to pay an additional $4.95 which is something I try not to do on a monthly basis. If I had seen some of the reviews I've seen here, I would have never taken their card. I took scissors to the card this morning.
Absolute scam
Absolute scam. Takes 5mins while nothing listens to you just to unsubscribe. Utterly terrible company. All to take peoples money at 29.99% APR.
I made a mistake applying, embarrassed to use CreditOne
Everything is so meh, CreditOne exists to extract fees from customers. I am glad they helped me on my rebuild, I got a $39 annual fee Visa at 28% interest for $500... But the likes of Concora (Indigo,Milestone, Genesis, Destiny) left a better taste in my mouth. Concora was upfront and no games compared to CreditOne.
Fees for everything, paying your bill online is a fee, credit limit increases that's a fee, like if regulations do not exist on it then that's a fee... My card had 1% cashback on 'everyday' purchases, and this is totally my fault (I did not expect stipulations on 1%, almost every card has 1% no limits cashback), but it's just gas stations... and you have to accrue $20 worth before you can use it, it will take me 3-4 years to hit that.
I get the type of customer they are working with, but it's just terrible, this card does not grow with you... and I am already at a point in my rebuild where I can close it (2 months after opening) because I have much better products from more reputable banks... The only way to actually grow with CreditOne is to open more cards so they can suck even more fees from you...
It's beyond embarrassing to use a CreditOne card, even the subprime customers look down on you... I mean their cobranded cards are Nascar & WWE... Some of their customer base think they have an 'actual' AMEX, and doesn't understand they have a CreditOne (not CapitalOne) on the Amex payment network.
Worst Credit Card Company ever
Worst Credit Card Company ever. They do not care about their customers. My card was hacked for over two thousand dollars, I called them, they refunded the charges back in one day, issued me a new card, and reversed the fraudulent charges back. They told me to get a police report which I did. The officer in the report called the charges fraudulent. After sending them the police report, other testimonies from other people about Babies Mall. Com they still tell me the fraudulent charges were made from my phone. I will bother this company every week. They hide behind their girls who answer their phones. Stay away from this Credit Card Company. They do not protect you from fraudulent charges that they advertise they do. I will be getting a lawyer.

You are better without CreditOne
You are better off without CreditOne. I paid off my balance so I can use the card for the holidays. The payment went through and cleared my checking account. However, I wasnt able to use my CreditOne card because they put a lock on my card. I called them why theres a lock and they said that I need proof from my bank that I paid it. My bank statement is clear that the payment was released as I verified this from my credit union banking. So I needed to upload that statement as a proof of payment and send it to CreditOne customer service. Then I had to wait up to three days for them to get a response. So, there goes the convenience of having a credit card and the holidays are over at this point. It was more of a burden because i used my ATM instead of this card. Beware that this card charges a $75.00 annual fee on top of high interest rate.
Credit one Bank credit card bad experience
Recently, I noticed several unauthorized charges on my credit card. I contacted Credit One Bank and spoke with a claims specialist who assured me that the unauthorized amount would be refunded. She also stated that my card would be deactivated and that a new card would be issued. The credit adjustment appeared in my account later that day. However, about a week later, I received an email from Credit One Bank stating that, after completing their investigation, they reversed the credit. The reason given was that the card had been used in the area where I live. I immediately called Credit One and spoke with another claims specialist, who told me my account of the situation contained “discrepancies” and that the merchant claimed I was the individual who used the card on October 15, 2025, at 3:30 PM.
I explained that this was impossible, as I was at work 21 miles away at that exact time. It would not have been feasible for me to travel 21 miles, check into a motel, and return 21 miles back to my job to clock out at 4:00 PM. The representative also stated that the merchant had provided a receipt, which was attached to the email. When I reviewed the receipt, I noticed it included an ID image of a man I do not know. The individual in the ID is clearly not me. I informed the representative of this, yet she insisted that this person was “with me” when the card was used. After explaining my situation multiple times, I was told that the decision was final and the call ended. I then contacted the merchant directly to explain that my card had likely been cloned and that I did not authorize any charges. The merchant refused to assist, stated they would lose money, and abruptly ended the call. It has now been over a month, and I still have not been reimbursed for the unauthorized charges. Each time I call Credit One Bank, I am met with unprofessional and unhelpful service, and it is extremely difficult to speak with anyone in the fraud department. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid doing business with this credit card company. Their handling of fraud claims is unacceptable, dismissive, and financially harmful to customers. Another serious concern I want to raise is the treatment of customers who fall victim to fraud and must contact Credit One’s customer service for help. Based on my own experience, after speaking with more than five different representatives, I was made to feel like a criminal rather than the victim. Instead of receiving support or understanding, I felt dismissed, pressured, and accused, which caused unnecessary stress and made the situation even more difficult. No
Credit One Bank fraudulently pulled my…
Credit One Bank fraudulently pulled my credit report without my consent. I asked them if they pulled my credit report and I was told no.
I asked several times and was told no by a supervisor named Rose and representative named Anna. I reminded them that I did not give them permission pull my credit, and was told by Credit One Bank that they didn't pull my credit report, and didn't know how to. I recorded the full conversation between Credit One Bank and myself as proof, and took a screenshot of them stating it would only be a soft pull if they did pull credit. However, I found out on October 14, 2025 that Credit One Bank did in fact pull my credit, did a hard pull from all three major credit agencies, and lied about it. Credit One Bank is a scammer who fraudulent false advertises, pulls people's credit reports when they say that they will not, and deceives people by claiming that they do not know how to pull credit reports. They're very misleading people who should not be over people's personal information. They need to be investigated for fraud.
I spoke with a representative named Anna and a supervisor named Rose on October 15th, 2025. Both told me that they never pulled my credit report. Supervisor Rose's ID number is 317027975. She told me that Credit One Bank had no way of pulling my credit report when I spoke with her on October 15th 2025, and Anna claimed the same.
I’ve had my credit one card for 2 1/2…
I’ve had my credit one card for 2 1/2 years and I rarely use it. Today when I tried to use it to book a hotel, the card declined. When I called customer service, they informed me that the system automatically blocks you from being able to use your card Whenever it feels as though fraudulent activity is occurring. There’s no way to override it, and once it blocks the card for whatever transaction you were trying to make towards whatever company it was, you can never use that card to make any future payments towards that company again. So let’s say for example I want to pay my phone bill and they would automatically block it. I would not be able to make any payments towards my phone bill with this card again. I’m flabbergasted. My flabbers are gasted! Luckily for me, I have a Citi card that never ever ever lets me down. I will be closing my account. This card is not dependable whatsoever.
