Beware, customer service is non-existent...

Well, the biggest problem with creature caster is their customer service. With any company, you want their customer service department to reply to even potential customers if they have questions and reach out to you. From my experience, creature caster does not reply to emails sent to them. This actually deterred me from buying anything from them because if I had run into a problem I couldn't fix on my own regarding their product or issues with shipping, it seems almost certain they wouldn't help. Because they don't reply or likely read emails sent to them by customers, and I am not calling long distance in hopes of getting someone on the phone who'd likely not help me anyways, I cannot recommend these guys.

Massive clean up time

Don't get me wrong here - the models are beautiful, the shipping was timely, parts were labeled and well packed.
My issue with this order was the moulding lines, the webbing and flakes on every single piece. I paid $145 for a model and now have to spend the next few hours cleaning it all off before even beginning to build it.
I should have just stuck with Games Workshop models at least they are clean when they arrive and the plastic is stronger.

Garbage company, garbage employees

This company employs some of the biggest A-holes you’ll ever meet. Giving money to A-holes isn’t something I’ll do twice….their “sales people” are trolls on Facebook. Do the hobby a favor and let this toxic company choke on their inventory, I’ll give up painting before I give these them another penny. I can make my own glazes from any companies paint and so can you

Withdrew money from my account without…

Withdrew money from my account without handling or shipping my order. Extreeme delays on handling my order and unprofessional communication. After several attempts to resolve the issue via mail, with slow responses, they tried to solve it by giving 25% discount on future purchases (uhm, not thanks... The promise of a discount from a site that only portrayed a trainwreck of a failed purchase did not tempt me).

After 2 weeks of what should have been a 1-2 day ordeal I lost my patience, and finally got my refund.

Update to my previous review

Update to my previous review. Creature caster sent me a new model. Everything was perfect and the company was determined to make things right. Thank you for your excellent customer service. Jason

Good, but a few problems.

I Purchased a Queen of Ecstasy for £102 plus £7 standard shipping.
Dispatch time was next working day, and shipping time was next working day.
I only received 85 of the 102 creature coins promised on the website, and I did not receive the matching dial that was pictured on the website with the model.
After extensive research, I realised the dial was limited quantity, however I do wish they made that clear on the website and make them available separately as to avoid disappointment.
Upon arrival it was well packaged, however the model itself has HUGE and i mean HUGE seam lines, and flaking around the edges. The sprue is moulded into the model, and so I actually broke it trying to remove it from the sprue. The model is stunningly beautiful so makes up for it, but the company itself needs some major work.

Everything in the other review is…

Everything in the other review is totally true. Communication was never the problem. It was the sketchy website and Creature caster's standard operating procedures. This was my first time buying from this company and i don't know if the mini will be enough to get me to buy anything else from this site. Only reason i got anything was because of because of the quick and professional response from Simon. (Don't know what department he works in).

If the site had taken care of a few simple things like clear understandings on different topics or simply a tracking number for my order would be much better then the little information i got.

Communication wasn't bad

Communication wasn't bad - they did respond to most all of my emails, but the whole setup is pretty sketchy. The company was originally started as a Kickstarter by Jeremy Glen to make models for tabletop games. The campaign was possibly more successful than anticipated because it went from being simply about designing and producing models to setting up a full-blown casting facility.

Time wore on and a couple of years down the road many people still had not received their models. Officially, Jeremy has allegedly sold the company and no longer has anything to do with it, but he still appears in most of their videos promoting the company and the models. The company say that they're fulfilling the Kickstarter pledges at a loss, but are charging quite a bit less than the Kickstarter prices for the same models on the store on their own website. I have also heard that the models themselves are of a far lower standard than the "jewellery quality" miniatures originally being touted in the Kickstarter.

Perhaps it's a different story if you're a North American consumer, but all in all I would suggest avoiding this company.
