A real craftsman.

Dave is an amazing blacksmith. He constructed a cover for our pond both for safety and to stop the local heron eating the fish. It apparently took about a week to construct and is made from galvanised steel. There are four removable access panels. The rock in the middle is not regular in shape and it was fascinating to watch Dave take the measurements for the cover which resulted in a large sheet of paper covered in straight lines with the distances of each part of the rock from the edge of the pond.
