Took 144£ without warning
Signed up to Vistacreate on recommendation from a friend. Turned out to be a great service. Used the free trial with intention to subscribing for the monthly service but forgot to switch myself. Only to be surprised by a 144£ debit (-166€) on my account with no warning.
Reached out to customer service and after multiple attempts to explain that I’ll usually never go for a yearly subscription at once, they refused to refund or adjust the plan, insisting that “…we really can't process a refund for this as stated in our Refund Policy and we are just following it.” If this were the case, couldn’t I atleast have been warned before hand as done by other services/companies. This has left a bitter taste and I may now have to delete my account entirely. Don’t even care about the 1 year subscription at this point

Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I have inadvertently paid twice for the same account. I have now written about 5 or 6 messages to try and sort this out. As yet I’ve received nothing but form replies suggesting I ‘have a nice day’ written by someone who clearly hasn’t even read my message properly and absolutely no sign of my money being returned. At the moment silence reigns supreme - I guess they’re hoping I’ll go away and they can keep my money. Nope.

Fantastic design program
It is an extraordinary website in possibilities and resources. The only thing missing is the possibility of copying and pasting elements between my own designs. Only for that reason I can't give the five stars.

And the cutouts are extremely useful to us for our YouTube channel.

Great tool for small business
VistaCreate comes in really handy for my business for creating marketing materials for social media. Cheaper than buying a product like Adobe Illustrator. Lots of stock to choose from.
Some improvements: a grid, ability to storyboard image elements into longer animations for mp4. Ability to select layers from a layers panel. Ability to search background stock and that recommendations arent so geared toward US customers (seasonal stock). Export to Vistaprint needs improvement, as when I did this there were errors in my order, and I was refunded. I had to export as a jpeg and upload into Vistaprint and reorder.

They charge for images even with Pro Membership
They promise access to 70M+ FREE images, vectors, etc., when you sign up for their Pro Membership. However, once you sign up, they direct you to a DIFFERENT website to purchase photos! Their CS team is pretty useless as well. And, if you can use a photo, you have to incorporate it into one of their designs, instead of just being able to download the asset (which is how it should work.) This is a waste of time.
