Phone that DOES NOT work

I recieved a phone ..delivery time was good however the phone doesn't accept sim cards so it cannot recieve calls or make calls its useless so a complete waste of money!

WARNING: NOT AUSTRALIAN BASED AT ALL! SHOP ELSEWHERE!! FOR YOUR OWN PEACE OF MIND.

UPDATED REVIEW DD 281025: Original review was dd 10/10/25. Please see below today's update, my original review. Here is my new review:

1. Though the company is listed ".com.au", the items are coming from China or Taiwan, which is STILL misleading as I had chosen what I thought was an Australian company so that I would not have to deal with delays from Overseas for an urgently needed item.
2. I stand by what I said about CUSTOMER SERVICE. They keep emailing and referring you to a link which, when opened, provides no information or updates on the status of your order whatsoever, leaving one to wonder whether the ordered item is coming at all. They even provide a reference number which is entirely different to the reference number that appears on the page via the link. When I questioned this, they said that the reference numbers between CrazySales.com.au and the shipping enterprise were different and continued to fail in giving me a reference number that I could actually see the status of my parcel and where it was, despite several attempts. Don't worry about phoning. The number does not work.
3. I had ordered two items. They did not arrive together, and one was particularly needed of an urgency. It arrived, AFTER, exasperated with this company and their lack of effective service and communication, I ended up ordering the same item with another VERIFIED Australian based company, who delivered the same item within 48 hours. So, CrazySales.com.au ended up costing me double the amount I should have had to pay. I will raise the stars from one to two, purely because the items arrived... in the end. The experience and lack of effective communication from their customer service however, made for a stressful and unpleasant experience.

With Christmas around the corner and some poor persons hoping to order a Christmas gift that will arrive timeously for Christmas with the expectation that this company is Australia based... I would not have those poor people go through the experience I have had with this company. I won't order from them ever again.

How this rotten company that pretends to be Australia based is even still operating is beyond belief. The Australian Authorities should pull their thumbs out and shut these scum that take the honest hard earned money from buyers and don't deliver the goods. I deliberately looked for what I thought was an Australia based website to avoid this kind of crap. Department of Fair Trading should hang their heads in shame... perhaps they are in cahoots? As you sow, so shall you reap. Ill-gotten gains and all that. They dare to send emails from the "Customer Service Team"... oxymoron... paradox. This company have no concept of Customer Service.

Negative Experience

I ordered over $170 worth of goods. There were delays in delivery & the communication poor. One received, the quality/description of each of the 5 items I received was not like the website described. I will never order from them again.

Prompt and thoughtful remedy

The company remedied some misleading information on a website for a Microsoft Replacement Stylus. The indication was USB C charging, which I thought was in addition to the standard wireless charging for such an item. It turned out wireless charging was not available. Being a mandatory feature of a replacment the support team responded to my return query same day and I had a full refund within a few days. I was extremely impressed at how promptly and thoughtfully my issue was dealt with.

Why anyone would purchase from here!

Why anyone would purchase from this company deserve what they get. Crazysales has been fraudulent for many years with MANY reviews to confirm this. Do some VERY BASIC homework, then look elsewhere to purchase products.

Return Policy not true beware

I ordered a costume for my sons book week. I allowed 10 working days knowing delivery was anywhere between 4 - 12 working days. I always knew the refund policy so thought if I don't get the costume in time at least I can return it for a refund minus delivery charges and was comfortable with that. Unfortunately the costume do not come in time. It has now been nearly 2 weeks and 10 emails later, I still can not get any return details from crazy sales. In fact, the last email said my product does not have a return address. So at this stage I cant get a refund or return this item contrary to what the return policy states online.

delivered but not delivered unable to track

Hi, i ordered a product from crazy sales to be delivered to QLD, i waited a week, unable to track my order, to find the status of the item was delivered, i (was home every day waiting) i asked the aust post office for help but they were unable to due to the tracking number not being correct, so i am going to wait a few weeks more, if i do not receive it i will just take it as a loss, and move on, and advise outhers

crazy sell is a lie ...i ask before i buy how long it take for delivery to my address...they said 2 to 3 day...i no longer can wait ...i ask to cancel the order...they don't except ...3 hours later they send me a tracking number ...i when online and check their is no parcel send under this tracking...few day later they send the item out ...i refuse to revive it they left at my front door and walk away... i send them more than 10 email ask them to take the item back ...they don't answer ,now i have to ask pay pal to step in to help me...

Products not legitimate

The Razer Barracuda headphones I received are an ok copy, but ultimately not the real thing. Cheaper, but a bit fraudulent to advertise and pass off as Razer when they are not. The sound is tinny, the battery doesn't last as long, and they don't have the razer logo etched into the over-ears, so you know they're not real.

360 degree swivel chair

Contacted them for a specific product, got the details and set up account. Paid for the goods the next day then advised by email that the order was cancelled post paying for item.

So were going down the path of supply or be sued, its Trade Practice issues.

Car navigation system

We ordered a car navigation system but unfortunately it was faulty, this is no reflection on this company. We received a refund in full (including postage) so have no reson not to trust this company to do the right thing. Yes, we will be purchasing from them again, we have full confidence to do so.

Terrible Customer Service and Returns policy SOOOO bad

Do not buy anything electronic - there is NO biometrics security except a PIN..
In addition, the system is extremely slow, I think I'm back in 2010 when tablets first came out . I would not even buy this item for a toddler to use to play games on as it wouldn't handle the program.

On top of this, Crazy Sales are totally useless!!! Took them 3 weeks and 4 emails and 2 phone calls
16 April '25 First response - 3 - 5 business days email from Marvin
25 April '25 - sent chaser email to Marvin
28 April '25 After 12 days, I called their Customer Service, waited on the phone for 10 minutes, to be told that Marvin would be sending me via email that day a return address in VIC and once received I would receive a refund.
Marvin responded late that night and offered me a $76 refund and I could keep the item
29 April '25 - I responded that was not what I was advised on the phone by Customer Service - please send information to return the item for full refund
30 April '25 - still no Marvin who has since disappeared and I have never heard from him since.
30 April '25 - I called Customer Service again and was told she would ensure that Marvin sends me the information for the return.
02 May '25 - Now we have Richard who sends me a note, that their team is still working on my return
later that same day, Richard then emails me to tell me that it was my fault their product did not include a normal 2025 feature such as biometrics and basically too bad, there is now no refund!!! They will not accept my return and have told me, it's classed as a "change of mind return" and to sell it online to some other poor sucker!!!

Very bad experience

Very bad experience, do not order anything from this website. Their "support" team take a long time to respond and very evasive. They shipped three items with different transport companies and of course one is going to go missing because they were separated. I am now left with one half of a box. They also use a company called Kinisi Transport for their deliveries who are impossible to contact as they are in liquidation.

Rubbish Product with Rubbish Service to Match

Purchased a solar powered aerator for use in a pond. I have 2 others from another supplier with the same capacity panel (20W). They work.

This one will work if 100% sun. Any fraction of shade and it switches off. Totally hopeless and not functional.

It's so far taken over two weeks of discussions with them to get nowhere. Steer clear if possible. Or accept the risk if a product is poor you're unlikely to have a great refund or replacement experience.

I bought through their marketplace on Kogan.

UPDATE: they basically went silent and don't respond. Kogan has the same information and has provided the refund themselves. Crazysales are the definition of hopeless.
